“ .    .     .  Just look at him “ one of the girls behind joon whispered. Thier boss , who with his quiet and shy persona have captured their attention .  .  Everytime he walked in and out forcing them to notice him as his tall  figure walks through the office. Being quiet and this handsome wasn't enough but being the executive director and a hillionar added there was nobody who could get a better bachelor than him. To add to that his confession earlier have swanned most of the women at how much of  passionate guy he was but now .   .  Now when his sorrow filled eyes are glaring at hyeon .  .  His still body waiting for hyeon's words   .   .  .  His boss attitude turned 180 around as he stand with that dismayed look as a puppy waiting for his masters embrace .  .  He has now formed his position as the best man ever.

       He would be the standard for most men they date  after now .  .  Even though they know there will be no other like him and should hate hyeon for taking him away looking at the scene in front of them . Seeing the two lost souls stand in front of each other exchanging so much of what words won't be enough to express with just stares ; who would wanna interrupt them. Even the most evil ones couldn't help but feel the need to wish for the two to beat all the odds on their way .

 “ .   .   .  I would love it  “ hyeon with a  calm voice started talking turning her eyes to the floor and glancing up for a split second.

      She knows how dangerous his eyes are and what they could force her to do . She wrapped her arms around her chest .  .  The need to ha0ug him .  .  Hold him tightly was starting to get to her. He looks hurt .  .   He looks in pain and no matter how long she hasn't even seen him or how much she have convinced herself she hates him now .   .   Seeing him like this always trumps every defence she built and get right to her heart. The only thing she can’t stand seeing jae is in pain and right now he looks like he's hurting all over.

   “ .    .   .  If we could have a talk “ she fixed her bag sitting on her shoulder . She had to give her trembling hand something to do.

   “ .    .    .  I know you're busy  but .   .  “ she glanced up and immediately sent her eyes back down when she got a glimpse of his eyes.

   “ .   .    .   It won't take long “ she finished. Brushing her hair behind her ear she eagerly waited for what he will say .

  “ .   .    .  Okay “ jae whispered out .

     His answer would have seemed more pathetic . Even if she have told him let's jump of the roof he would have given the same answer right now . Although shocked by his reply hyeon took in every emotion his voice brought up and glanced up putting her game face on .

   “ .   .   . There are too many people here “ she glanced around catching almost every eyes that's glaring her way .

   “ .   .   .  And i don't wanna go there “ she pointed up to his office .

   “ .  .   .  So let's talk outside “ she gave him a  quick smile and turned around leading the way . The crowded around having not heard anything they said just stared at hyeon as she lead the way to the door followed by jae  hands in his pocket quietly following behind like . A puppy is the perfect way to describe him .   .    A puffy adorable lost puppy  .  .  Is what he looks like as he drags his worn out body behind hyeon eyes glued to the floor .

   The beautiful look he's getting from his employees would have made him nervous if he had looked up . Most can't help but feel sorry for him since it looks like he's the one with the short side of the stick right now. All the sighs and gasps were enough to tell him that most are standing on his side not because he's their boss but because right now they feel sorry for him.  She has him in the palm of her hands and that is just sad sight for his employees,  who have idolized him till now, to see.

     Joon not even sure what going on followed joon behind as he textes sungi to bring the car to the front gate , they might need to prepare a getaway car. Knowing the dad is still in the office he is a bit nervous that the ceo might come down and be a witness to see and that will only add fuel to the already furiously burning flames that are coming to burn everything down.

    “ .   .  .  Huh .  “hyeon halting the way at the middle of the driveway coughed. This is the perfect spot for her to say whatever she wants to say and jump into the red car jessica is sitting in waiting for her by the edge of the drive way .

      As though to give them space and look courteous , the employees all stood by the door and didn't take a step down the two states and to the driveway as only the three went down , joon passing them and heading to the black car sungi was standing against. Even he doesn't wanna hear anything anymore .  .   .  They need space.  Jessica seeing the two people in the driveway pulled the driver side window and lenaed closer to see if she could hear anything but no. She has promised hyeon she will wait with a  started car so hyeon could  get away after saying whatever she has prepared so she stayed hands on the wheel .  Leg ready to step on the gas pedal.

   “ .   .   .  He broke up with you “

“ .   .  .  He broke you .   .  He hurted you, remember that “ she kept repeating in her haeda s jae finished his slow walking and stood a step or two away from hyeon finally bringing his eyes up to her .   .  

  “ .   .     .  He's the one that hurt you like this

“ .  .  .  Remember all the pain   all the tears “ the voice in her head went on trying hard to remind hyeon of all what she has been through in the last couple of weeks . The voice had to fight against her heart that is losing its rhythm as she glanced up bring her eyes to his .

    “ .   .   .  Huh  “ jae sighed bringing his left hand out and brushing his hair back . There are about a million things he would rather be doing than standing here right now . And looking at hyeon is becoming more of a torture on its own  and jae chose to send his eyes to the pavement. Standing at the edge and holding his breath in as he waits for what she's about to say .  The longer she took the more anxious he becomes .   .   .  No matter how smart he can't predict what hyeon might have  prepared to say to him. After all he has done he can't imagine how much of her boiled up anger she is gonna explode on him .

   All of a sudden a wave of fear washed over him when he recalled how like a stranger he has walked past her for days before she was fired. Knowing hyeon then .   .  Knowing how much of strong person she is he can imagine how harsh her revenge is gonna be.

 “ .   .  .  before you say anything .  .  “ forgetting his right hand has been wrapped around  he brought out and brushed his hair back .  .

“ .   .  What happened to your hand ?” hyeon interrupted her sharp eyes following his hands as he brushed his black hair back .  His hand wrapped by the white cotton with blood marks appearing from underneath it didn't take hyeon seconds to notice.

   “ .   .   .  Its nothing “ jae quickly tried to return his hand back to his pocket but hyeon grabbed it mid air. Sending her eyes from his face to the arm she grabbed she pulled his sleeves with her other hand and turned his hand around to see his palm which was slowly turning red.

    “ .   .   . What .   

“ .    .     .  Wha.    .    .

“  .   .  What .   Happined ?  “ she raised his hand up and glared at him as if he hasn't noticed what has  happened to his hand . Holding his hand ups he waited for his response .

   “ .    .    .  It’s nothing “ he tried pulling his arm away. All the pain he didn't feel when the glasses stayed pierced through his skin now started to eiche as hyeon's warm hand generally glanced over them . His whole arm turned fiery hot aching for a treatment . All the cuts felt like they were bleeding in litres when he felt her touch . It hurts .   .   .  His whole arm hurts now.

“ .     .     .    What do you mean it's nothing , you're bleeding?” she tightened her grip on his hand .

 “ .    .    .  I fail , that's all” he somehow pulled his hand away and sent it back to his pocket . She has forgotten how much he has pushed her off to think he will give her an honest answer now . She shook her head to try and not waste another thought in what might have happened to his hand. She not optimistic enough to believe that it was nothing and the dad might not have anything to do with it. After his broadcast earlier she can be sure that the ceo probably had  done something to get back to jae.

     “ .    .    . Huh  “ a small smile escaped her , still unbelievable to her that he doesn't tell her things in all honesty.it has alwayse been like this , what ever shes curious about she has to push and push and fish out the answer from him. Expecting him to give her an honest answer was a mistake on her part .  .   .  She should have learned from her past.

  “ .    .    .  He knows that the employees are looking at him right “ sungi folding his arms as he goes on staring at the two in the middle of the driveway whispered to joon standing next to him. Joon didn't reply . He's too caught up on worrying that the ceo might be coming down anytime soon or even worse the madam.

   “ .    .    .  Do you think he cares about that ?” joon asked after calling out her name through the oa system it doesn't seem likely that jae would care if anybody sees him talking with hyeon.  

     “ .    .     .  I know you don't want to see me anymore and neither do i but “ hyeon pulling her bag to her front started talking . The first sentence she used by itself was enough of an attack but jae knew it was just the start.

   “ .   .    .  There are some things we need to discuss like you  never doing what you did earlier “ she pointed back to the office both know what she was talking about. She is staling .   .   .  She is stalling until she figures out how to even bring the topic up  

“ .     .      .  And .   .  “ she tightened her grip on her sleeves as she looked up. Not even a slight confidence left in her to even bring the topic up let alone come right out and tell him that she is pregnant .

  “ .  .   .  Are they gonna just stare at eachother forever ?” the impatient sungi asked , even though he can't hear their conversations he hasn't seen their lips move for a couple of minutes now .

    “ .    .     .  This is torture !“ he added before he started walking to his side of the car .

     “ .    .    .  Come on jae “ joo  whispered out praying his boss will get some courage and just grab onto hyeon.

Min has said what he needs is comfort and who better than hyeon to comfort and make him forget everything . He can see it too  .    .    .   It’s written all over jae ;how much he wants to just wants her to hold him . It’s her embrace more than any other that can heal his worn out body and make him at peace.

    “ .    .    .  Huh  “ she sighed. No matter how close to the words were hanging she can't seem to spill them out . She's afraid .   .   She's very scared that she might get the same response. She's scared of letting him have the power to break her again by letting him know she has his child. Just like she has thought of so many times ; what if he says get rid of it .    .   What if he says he doesn't want to be part of anything . Even Though that's what she wants as a response she is not ready to be thrown away again. It might be even more painful for her to be thrown away along with the life growing inside of her .

  After the way jae has treated her before she was fired she is not even sure why he is even letting her talk to him . He has affirmed that he doesn't see her better than a stranger anymore so why the change of mind now. Does he know ?

She raised her startled eyes to jae . The tension filled silence they had been on making him even more anxious than when she goes on talking he has just been standing there painachingally taking in the sharp gaze her eyes are throwing his way .

    If it was weeks ago .   .   If it was before he saw his shirt with her shoes mark on it .   .  Before he was told even by his doctor to distance himself from her . He would probably have said something sharp. Attacking her before she attacks him and walked of to his car and disappeared .  He probably might have said some clever words and ignored her too if walking away wasn't an option but now .  Now even opening his mouth to talk have become a very challenging act let alone walking away from her.  He has missed her to much to be the one walking away .    .   He has missed her more than he even thought possible to be the one leaving her behind.

 “ .   .    .   I’ll make an appointment .   .   .

“ .    .    Let's do this some other time “ she glanced up giving him a small smile before she turned around  but before she took a step his right hand landed on her right one.

If they could hear the loud sigh that came from the office as he grabbed on to her .  .   . Every employee seems to be on pins and needles waiting glaring at the two. Even joon could help but flinch when he saw jae hold her back .    .  A small smile escaped sungi who leaning in was watching everything from the car .

    Even Though it was the wrapped palm that got a hold of her arm , glancing down to find his pale fingers tightly holding her arm was startling. If she had felt his cold hand every nerve in her body might have shaken but even now .  .  Her heart has jumped quite a few beats as his hand landed on hers . Even Though she's thankful it wasn't his hand and the wrapper touching her , the blood stains on the white fabric has gotten to her.

    “ .   .  Leave now .   

 “ .   .   Just throw his hand and leave “ the voice inside commanded as she closing her eyes tries to fight against herself when jaes arm slowly pulled her back to turn towards him.

   “ .   .   .  Hyeon .   Leave now “ the voice shouted on3 last time but her heart wouldn't give in . Her mind would order her legs to run away , rather to turn and face him as his hands have commanded them too. How could she walk away when he's holding on to her .   .    .   Leaving him behind is something she has envisioned so many time but something she can't seem to do . no matter how much it has been cut to pieces it's something her heart can do.  .  Not when she has seen the pain in his eyes .    .   Not when she can see the blood stains on his palm .

   For most it might be a simple guster but for these two who don't exchange that much words his hand holding on to her is a very intimate and powerful moment . It's a moment that has once again proven to hyeon how much she live this man to the point that he has this much power over her whole being. Just one touch .   .  Just a simple hold has broken the barriers and pulled the string tugged right at middle of her heart.

       She slowly opened her eyes as his palm opened up and let go of her arm . Praying to god to prepare her for what he's gonna say hyeon held in her breath .   .  Hiding her trembling hands by folding them together as she sends her scared and petrified eyes up to his . She has tried hard to make her fear with a  questioning look and that's what jae read off of her . Her eyes were sharp as they gaze at him with a very sicking questioing look on her face .
