Notes:
- Doyou no yoru - can just be 'saturday night'...so it can be saturday night, on saturday night, etc.
- shikakui sora/square sky - I read that 'square sky' can also have figurative meaning like a small specific portion of the sky, not lookin directly/physically, or yknow...just since the building's top is square so the sky right above it is described in the same way to show he's not looking beyond the building top where he stood.
- anogoro wa/at that time - referring to the (specific?) past
- fuzaketa - can have quite a range of meaning from playing around, joking,make fun,flirt,mess around...in other words, it can be interpreted in various ways...positive and negative depend on usage/context i guess...
- kinishinaide - 'don't worry'...
- 'matters of tomorrow and the likes' - in other words can also be 'the future/tomorrow etc.'
- Sou sa - interjection like...yeah, sure, right, you know, it doesn't necessarily mentioned since it doesn't change the meaning...but here i just use 'well'...like as in 'i like to eat.' and 'i like to well...eat.' same meaning, different tone...
- 'the memories haven't left' - actually, there's no 'memories' word in the Japanese lyrics...it's supposed to be they-referring to the meeting, laughter, separation. but aren't those the same as memories? so yeah...
- kikoete - audible/can be heard...so you can either say 'i can hear it/it can be heard'
- Kaze wa tanin sa - this is a little very hard for me to perceive...kaze=wind, tanin=stranger...so it's like wind is stranger? but after looking around some proverb/phrases with similar pattern i came up with this. 'Wind makes/made us strangers'...might or might not be accurate, oh well...maybe it's referring to idk...wind of changes...?
- the language looks rather poetic for me...even though i'm not fan of romanticizing every little thing like in K-songs, i like J-songs way of doing it(or at least Jungmin's J-songs so far...)...i found a few familiar terms already that occur quite often...and notice their love for creating lyrics that enable you to picture a setting/scenery...and let that scenery conveys the feelings and story, and for me, that makes the feelings felt more organic and palpable rather than using words directly related to feelings. i really adore this kind of romanticism. I'm not sure about other J-lyricists out there, but so far from Jungmin's songs...i noticed this kinda pattern, especially from Mr. Kohki Ikenaga. it may seem a lil old-ish fashion to some idk...do you find it that way? But i really like this kind of charm...that makes me feel like i'm teleported to the past, that's definitely prettier in all aspects than today, including in language, scenery, feelings, expression, etc.
