“Calm down first…” Woohyun checked the door’s monitor and a man in black suit and black glasses popped out on the screen.

Woohyun sighed in relief and turned back to s. “It’s not him. I think it’s just a random guy looking for address. Wait…”

The other members watched Woohyun pressed on the red button and started to ask the man who he is.

“I come to deliver a package from Big Bang…”

The man’s answer made all of them exchanged glances. Woohyun quickly open the door and Sungjong followed after.

A medium-sized box appeared and both Woohyun and Sungjong brought it back to the living room.

Sunggyu furrowed his eyebrows in confusion. “What’s this? It looks suspicious…”

“Should we call a police for this?” Dongwoo’s words almost erupted laughter from the others, but they do know that it’s not the right time to laugh.

Woohyun rolled his eyes. “Why? Do you think they will send us a timer bomb or drugs?”

“Come on, hyung… they are not bad people.” Sungjong crossed his arms firmly and shook his head upon Dongwoo’s comment.

“Hey! It’s possible, you know! I agree with Dongwoo!” Sunggyu declared the same opinion as well.

Woohyun, Sungjong and Hoya looked at Sunggyu as if he was gone crazy.

Sunggyu frowned. “Ya! They almost blew my head with a bullet before! Don’t blame me from being paranoid, okay?!”

“THEY—WHAT?!”

Sunggyu winced because of the loud volume. He then stared at the six of them who were looking at him with furious eyes. For a moment there, Sunggyu had forgot that s didn’t know what happened to him and L on their first encounter with Big Bang. He didn’t want to make them worried, so it’s better to keep it as a secret.

He quickly cleared his throat. “G-guys… don’t be scared. I mean—it’s actually—”

“They ever tried to kill you before?!” Sungyeol who the only one that still sitting on the floor suddenly yelled.

“N-no! I-err… it was…” Sunggyu tried to think of an excuse before Dongwoo indirectly saved him.

“Okay arraseo arraseo… Don’t joke around anymore…” Dongwoo then squatted down in front of the big box as he starred at it with curiosity.

Sunggyu exhaled in relief when he noticed the other members didn’t seem to think of his words seriously anymore. Thanks Dongwoo… I owe you for this one…

Woohyun then peeled the sticky note on one side of the box and read the blue handwritings.

Dear Infinite,

Annyeong! It’s actually a “gift” from us. You guys should be thankful for this one because it’s not easy to get. You are lucky that GD hyung wants to help you out with this so-called investigation. This is actually tiring, but we are good people, so yeah~ I will say again that you are lucky.

Anyway, use this wisely. And when I said it “wisely”, you really need to. And don’t be too shock with the content. It is really useful.

“Who is Seungri?” Dongwoo showed his blank face.

Sungjong titled his head. “Is he one of the Big Bang members?”

Sunggyu came over and hit both of them on the head. “So stupid! Don’t make joke over them! Just open it!”

Woohyun sighed for the countless times as he bent down and open the box. He furrowed his eyebrows when he found nothing out of ordinary besides a stack of papers and an USB.

“Only these?” Woohyun pull out the paper and the USB then looked at s. “They aren’t joke around with us, right?”

Hoya snatched the USB then looked at it. “We should see what’s saved inside.”

“Go get my laptop…” Sungyeol said to Sungjong and the youngest followed his order.

Woohyun tried to read the papers and furrowed his eyebrows. He scratched his head as he read line by line stated on the papers.

Sunggyu peered over from Woohyun’s shoulder. “And what about these papers?”

“I think it’s the evidences about Myungsoo’s accident…” Woohyun shook his head in astonishment. “Daebak… they really did a great investigation about this…”

“And fast too…” Sunggyu nodded in agreement.

“And there are some articles about Myungsoo’s accident too..” Dongwoo pull out another stack of papers inside and showed it to Sunggyu.

“Oh!” Sungyeol noticed there’s a pile of photos under the papers Dongwoo just pulled out. He bent down then grabbed the photos.

He let out a gasp as he saw the photos. “Crazy! These all are our candid photos!”

Hoya came over and grabbed some of the photos from his hands. “Big Bang members were stalking on us? Heol…”

“And there are some photos of Jae too…” Hoya looked at your photos and hand over it to Woohyun.

Woohyun frowned. This is the photo of Myungsoo in front of Jae’s house and at her college… And Myeongdong…? Is this when they were on a date?

Sungyeol sighed as he noticed Woohyun’s expression turned sad while looking at the photos. He snatched the photos again and tapped his shoulder.

“Hyung... It’s not time to be jealous, they were just—”

But to his surprise, Woohyun just cut him and acted like nothing was happened. “I don’t think it was Big Bang who took all of these photos…”

“What do you mean?” Sunggyu looked at him and Woohyun handed the photos to him.

“See? This was happened a long ago. I noticed this was Myungsoo’s past hairstyles and at that time Big Bang still not know about him too…”

Sunggyu looked at the photos and it was true. The situation happened in the photos seem happened in a few months ago.

“So who do you think the one who took all of this? There’s no way our fans did this…” Sunggyu’s lips formed a thin line.

“I don’t even think our sasaeng fans could do this, either…” Hoya commented as he showed another photo.

“Look. Myungsoo was talking with someone in this photo, but he is obviously alone…”

“And this one was taken near our dressing room in Mnet… None of the fans could have access to walk inside the backstage, right?” Sungyeol frowned when he found several candid photos of L at the backstage.

Sunggyu sighed as he propped his both hands on his waist. “The one who took these photos might be a psycho of Myungsoo… Look, all the photos had his face on it.”

“Hey, guys! Look!”

Dongwoo suddenly yelled as his eyes fixed on the bundle of articles on his hands. “The one who wrote all of these articles was the same person! It’s the same initials!”

Woohyun, Sunggyu, Sungyeol and Hoya sat down on the floor and looked at the articles.

“L…B…H…?”

The three of them spelled the initials slowly in unison.

“LBH…? Who is that?” Sungyeol looked at Dongwoo and the latter just shrugged, showing the same question on his face.

“Do you know any reporter with initial ‘LBH’?” Hoya asked Woohyun and he tried to think of all the reporters he knew, but none of them had this kind of initial.

Sunggyu bit his lower lips as he tried to recall the initial. I heard of this initial before… I guess Myungsoo also heard this before… and Big Bang…

“I hope we can ask Myungsoo about this ‘LBH’…” Hoya suggested and Dongwoo nodded.

“Whoa!” Sungyeol’s eyes widened. “I just realized this! All of these photos were also taken by LBH!”

“Mwo?!” Woohyun quickly checked the photos, flipped it around and found a small handwriting on the left corner on each photo that shown ‘LBH’.

“Oh! Look at these too!” Hoya found one of the photos had long handwritings on the back of it.

We found all of these photos from LBH’s camera’s memory card.

“Daebak…” Dongwoo was amused.

And just in time, Sungjong’s back from the room while bringing Sungyeol’s laptop.

“Here it is!” Sungjong put the laptop on top of the coffee table and turned it on.

Hoya handed him the USB and all of them waited patiently as Sungjong plugged in the USB and started to see what’s inside. They were all nervous with the files saved inside the small object, but they couldn’t help but feel curious about it. They need to know.

The moment Sungjong clicked on the folder saved inside the USB, the six of them gasped in shock. They had their eyes nailed on the laptop screen as Sungjong click on each content to see its name.

“How can Big Bang got all of these videos?!” Hoya shouted in unison. “Their IT person must be a real genius!!”

“Whose videos are these? Is it also taken by LBH?” Sunggyu gulped.

Sungjong shook his head. “No, hyung. There are only 2 videos and I think these 2 were taken from surveillance camera. Based on the names, one of them was taken from our apartment’s parking lot and the other was taken from the traffic camera where L hyung’s accident happened.”

“Play it.” Sungyeol demanded and Sungjong pressed the ‘play’ button.

Sunggyu had his eyes focused on the laptop screen and smirked. “Let’s see what we can find from these vidoes…”

L was sitting in front of a laptop. He replayed the video over and over while sighing. He didn’t blink even for one more time while the video was playing. Many questions ran inside his head and he somehow couldn’t put it into pieces.

You went inside your room with a tray of chocolate biscuits and a mug of warm water. You put the tray beside your laptop and noticed how L was immersed with whatever he watched on your laptop.

“Hey…” You tapped his shoulder and he looked up at you. “Why didn’t you tell me earlier that you wanted to come here? What if Yongguk oppa was here? You are lucky that he had taekwondo class to teach today…”

L just remained silent as he grabbed your hand and kissed the back of it.

You sighed and stared at your laptop. “What did you watch?”

L quickly pressed the pause button and tried to close your laptop down, but your other hand quickly halted it.

“Jae—no!” He was a little bit late and you already pressed the pause button once again.

Your round eyes went bigger as you watched the video. You could see someone wearing a helmet with a baseball stick on his hand heading to a car that looked like L’s car. You focused on how the culprit walked cautiously at the parking lot before smashed the baseball stick to the car’s window then stabbed the tires with a knife. You gasped and the video ended with the culprit walking calmly out from the parking lot, as if nothing was happened.

“Wher—from where did you get this video…?” You turned your head at L and he quickly closed your laptop down with a sigh.

“Jae… I…” He closed his eyes in frustration and you became even more worried.

“So your car was broken because of this person?! It was the day when we visited your ancestor’s grave in Daegu, right?!” (see Life 41 if you forgot ^^)

“Jae…” L held your hand but you didn’t stop to wail your complaints.

“No, L! Tell me where did you get this video?! I am worried about you!”

L couldn’t take it anymore. As much as he was worried to about this, seeing you worried was the last thing he wanted to see in this world. He hates it when he saw your worried face, especially when you were worried about him.

“L! Tell me—uuff!!” You didn’t know how could you end up sitting on his lap and L had his both arms firmly around your waist.

“Can we… just stay like this for a while…” L whispered and you could felt his minty breaths tickling your neck.

You sighed and finally gave up. Yes you were worried about him, but you did know that L was the one who felt stress the most right now. He might come to find you to calm his mind but what you did were just demanding for an answer without thinking of his feeling. You felt guilty and both of you just stayed still for a couple of minutes. You then patted his head and his arms on your waist tightened.

“Are you okay…?” You asked him but he remained silent. You grabbed on the hot water from the tray then motioned it for him to drink.

“Drink this… It might calm you down.” You caressed his cheek and he obliged.

But then he pushed away the mug after took a sip and stared at your face. “Can you… give me three bottles of soju, please? Or maybe some cans of alcohol…? I need something to cool down my mind…”

He then put his head back on your shoulder and let out a deep sigh.

You put down then mug and patted his back. “No. How come soju or alcohol will cool down your mind? It’s bad for your health, you babo…”

You then pushed his body a little so then you can face to face with him again. “L… What’s going on…? Please tell me…”

L sighed again and finally loosened his arms on your waist. “Someone gave me this USB and when I opened it, there’s this video inside…”

“Who gave it to you?” You tried not to sound too demanded, so you just waited patiently for his answer.

L didn’t answer and just brought a box from the floor to the desk. “He also gave me these…”

You looked inside the box and found a bundle of articles along with a pile of candid photos inside. It was the same contents with the one in Infinite’s dorms and you couldn’t help but felt worried when you saw all the photos had L’s face on each of it.

“Ya! What’s this? Is it your stalker who sent all of this to you?!”

“No…” L made invisible circles on your arms before continued. “It’s from Big Bang.”

Your eyes widened on the mentioned of the group’s name but you hold yourself not to bombard L with your questions.

“Actually… I met GD hyung before I came here and he was the one who gave me this. They said they were helping me out to find out the culprit…”

“GD oppa…?!” You didn’t believe with what he just said, but you knew that he wasn’t lying. “How can he—”

L then playing with your hair and shrugged his shoulder. “He called me that he had something to say so then I went to meet with him and he gave me this USB along with the box.”

You bit your lips in concern as you started to think back about the first encounter of L and Big Bang.

Didn’t they fight the last time they meet?! How can GD oppa suddenly decided to help him?

As if he could read your mind, L continued. “Jae… Don’t think too much about it. He said that this culprit is also his enemy and he is interested with my case… He said he do this to protect you and your brother as well…”

You then looked at L with worries written all over your face. “He didn’t pretend again …right?”

L shrugged again. “Meolla… All I know now that this culprit was stalking me…”

You softened and hugged his neck. “Don’t worry… We will reveal the culprit… soon.”

“Thank you…” L mumbled again your shoulder as he felt some of the weights on his shoulder being lifted up.

“I am so glad that Big Bang helps us. They may look scary, but they are not bad guys. If they said they want to do this to protect me and Yongguk oppa… then they will protect you too.”

L just nodded without replying anything. You could understand his answer without even him saying it with words. You then pulled away and stood up straight again.

“But what should we do with this stuff?” You looked over the box and propped your both hands on your waist. “We should catch this person as soon as possible or you will be in big danger, or worse, everyone around you…”

“We?” L suddenly frowned and crossed his arms while leaning on the chair.

“No, Jae. I want you to stay away from this. I am the target and I don’t want you to be involved. This person wants to ruin my life and I won’t let this psycho ruin yours too.”

You crossed your arms too. “No, L. I won’t stay away fro m you. I am your ‘partner’, remember?” You then leaning on the desk, “What if this person trying to cause you harm? Or maybe… k-kill you…?”

You choked on the last word. You really hate to say the word, but you didn’t have choice. You wanted L to understand how dangerous this case is.

“I will be okay…” L flashed you a smile.

How you always adores his smile and how you would like to see it for the rest of your life. You somehow felt calm but your mind still occupied with the case, with the mission.

“But still… I don’t want to be apart with you. We all in this together, we are going through this together, okay? Who knows that this culprit is your target for your 7th mission…” You gave him a smile as well. “And don’t forget… we need to thank Big Bang for this…”

L then went closer to you, still sitting on the chair. He had his both knees trapped you between him and the desk. He put both of his hands on each side of your waist, propping on the desk. He looked up at you with cute expression and you couldn’t help but giggled seeing it.

“What are you doing?” You tried to push him but he just marched closer, trapping you more.

“Give me your strength then…” L closed his eyes while pursuing his lips at you.

You blushed and couldn’t hide your smile. Your heartbeat went faster as you saw at L’s face. He had no sign of joking and he really demanded strength from you.

“Ppali…”

You heard L murmured as he kept pursing his lips, waiting for you to kiss him.

You are too cute, L… How can I resist?

You giggled then put a strand of your hair behind your ear before you bent down your body to him. You had your eyes closed and bent down even more. But without you knowing, there was already another presence inside the room.

Your lips and L’s lips were just millimetres away when suddenly you head a voice.

“Jae eonni, annyeong~”

Both of your eyes open widely as you gasped in shock. You instantly back away and saw Zelo propped his both hands on top of L’s head and you could see how wide his grin was.

L was shocked too. He pushed his body backwards a little bit powerful so then he ended up losing his balance.

“Who—whoaa!!” L fell from the chair and landed on his . He winced and you quickly squatted down to help him up.

“Are you okay?!”

“Omona! LG! Are you okay?!” Zelo bent down too, offering his hand for L to take.

L glared at him as he slapped Zelo’s hand away. Hard.

“Go away, you imbecile! Why are you always popped out from nowhere at the wrong time?! I hate you!!”

L groaned as he stood up with your help. Your face reddened when you remembered the scene a few seconds ago. If Zelo didn’t appear, you might had ended up kissing together or maybe had some making out sessions.

But too much to L’s disappointment, those fantasies will never come as long as Zelo kept ‘disturbing’ both of you.

“Did Zelo do something wrong?” Zelo blinked innocently and you swore you were about to squeal because he was too cute to handle.

L jabbed his finger to Zelo’s chest. “Yes. You. Did.” He then gritted his teeth. “Can you just come later?! I mean can you not showing up when I’m having a sweet time with Jae?!”

You cleared your throat as you pulled L on his sleeve, giving him sign to let this one go. But of course, your boyfriend won’t listen to you.

“Zelo! How many times I told you to not appear on the wrong time?!”

Zelo were confused and glanced at you for help. You just shook your head and he became more confused.

What did Zelo do that LG became this mad…? Hm?

You looked at Zelo hoping that he would get your telepathy which saying “just apologize for now”, because you did know your boyfriend really hate it when someone disturbed your moment with him.

Zelo somehow got the clue and quickly bowed down in 90 degrees. “I am sorry, LG.”

L sighed and grabbed the falling chair to its right position. He then flicked Zelo on the forehead. “I forgive you…”

Just because I can’t stay mad at you when Jae is around… You are lucky, Zelo…

“So… why did you come here?” You tried to cool down the tense and asked Zelo.

“Just because…” Zelo sat on your bed then looked around your room.

“I miss you, eonni~”

A wide smile formed on your face and you were about to reply his cute confession when suddenly you saw a pillow landed hard on Zelo’s face.

“Stay focus, you kiddo. You might don’t know when will I hit you.”

Zelo rubbed his nose as he stomped his feet cutely. “LG!! That hurts!”

“That’s why I said to stay focus! Babo!” L flicked his forehead once more and the latter rubbed the red spot with a fake cry.

“Do you have something to tell us, Zelo?” You sat beside him and he nodded eagerly.

“Yes! Zelo came here to report about LG’s deadline!”

L stopped on his track and stiffened for a good three seconds before continued to grab the chocolate cookies you prepared for him before.

“What about my deadline?” L said while munching one of it.

“10 weeks, 3 days, 14 hours, 7 minutes and 15 seconds!”

Zelo said it too fast but you and L still could hear it clearly. You only remembered until the second part, but it’s already more than enough for you to know.

“10 weeks and 3 days…” You tightened your fist. It’s not even 3 months left…

Zelo nodded then looked at L. “I am your guardian, LG… I should remind you about this time limit. Like it or not, Zelo think you should know about this.”

L grew annoyed as he shoved one more cookie inside his mouth. “And do you really need to mention it NOW?! Like NOW?!”

Zelo gulped as he saw how furious L’s stare was. “Oops…”

“Party pooper…” L shook his head as he gulped down the warm water.

“Sorry… but…” Zelo then grabbed both of your hands and stared at you. “It’s not time to relax, anymore… The time is ticking and we still have 4 missions unfold.”

“I know…” You gave him an assuring smile before L threatened him to throw another pillow, so Zelo quickly let go of your hands.

“And who says that I’m relax?” L crossed his arms.

“Oh! Look, Zelo!” You stood up and brought the laptop to Zelo’s lap. “You should see this…” You played the video and Zelo watched it seriously.

After the first one was finished, you played the second video. “And let’s watch this one too…”

“This one was before my accident happened.” L sat beside you while putting his chin on top of your shoulder.

Man… How I wish Jae didn’t see this video. This is too tragic and could hurt her… Even for me… I still couldn’t watch this without feeling the pain. It was the moment that killed me and took my life away… my future…

The video showing how L’s car already rolled down after being hit with a car and how after that he got hit once again with a truck. The video was kind of blur but you could spotted someone lifeless inside the car and you knew who it was. It was L. Your boyfriend. Your partner.

You shook your head, still covering your face. “No… It’s okay… I was just—”

“It must be hurt because it reminded you about your younger brother, right?”

You raised your head to see the owner of the voice. He was leaning on your doorframe before flashing a smirk.

You breathed out his name as he walked closer to you. “…Daehyun…”

L looked up as well and his sad face replaced with a frown. “Ya! What are you doing here?!”

Zelo then stopped the video and tapped his chin. “So this video only showing us the scene of LG’s car being hit by a truck… Where is the other record? Zelo means…”

“You mean the record when my car being hit with a car and not the truck, right?” L cut him.

Zelo nodded and you turned your head to see at L’s face. “Yes… where is that part? This video starts with your car already flipped down…”

“I am curious about that too, Jae…” L tightened his arms on your waist.

“There’s a possibility that the culprit did something with the camera! That’s why it didn’t record that part!” Zelo flicked his fingers.

“This is too complicated. I guess Big Bang is still investigating about this too…” You sighed.
