Sowon watched the girl who’s fast asleep on her arm and a smile bloomed on her face. Sowon knew that she shouldn’t feel like this. All of these doubts are going to kill her someday. It’s just she can’t help it but feel like she’s in a dream sometimes. The green eyed monster consumed her when she noticed how much Eunha has admired her roommate. Along with that, the insecurities reared its head. And Sowon’s drown in it.

Yet, when Eunha kept on reminding her that she’s loved. That Eunha is very much in love with her, Sowon could feel her heart being comforted. And she wished that they’ll stay in love like this forever.

Eunha stirred in her sleep, so Sowon patted Eunha’s arm gently to ease the girl back to sleep. Satisfied that her girlfriend is back to sleep, Sowon came back to ponder in her mind until Eunha interrupted her that is.

“Unnie… why don’t you sleep?” Eunha rubbed her eyes sleepily. “What do you think about?”

“You.”

“Me?”

Sowon nodded, “Yeah, you.”

“What about me?” Eunha asked. “Why are you thinking about me when I am right here, beside you?”

“Because I miss you, even in sleep. So, I want to memorize everything before I fall asleep.” Sowon bopped Eunha’s nose lightly. “So that I could dream of you.”

Eunha blushed. “Why do you love me so much?”

“Ah, I don’t know,” Sowon replied, “You are beautiful, and I wouldn’t lie when to you by saying that I don’t notice your beauty. Then, as I get to know you. As times passed, it’s not your beauty that drew me in. You are the most beautiful though,” Sowon added hurriedly, “It’s just that I am captivated by your heart.”

Eunha run her thumb on Sowon’s cheek.

“And I don’t know why. Just that, when I saw your back while you’re walking away from me, there’s this pain in my heart. The pain has become so agonizingly painful when we’re apart. Like that, I realized that I have fallen in love with you.”

“Unnie…” Eunha for some reasons has climbed on top of Sowon.

Without breaking eye contacts, Sowon continued, “I don’t want to own you nor do I want to have you. What I want is to be someone who deserves you. Someone who you could fall into. Someone who you love. I want to be that person.”

Sowon could feel Eunha’s breath on her lips because of the close proximities that they have. They’re literally just an inch apart when Eunha decided to close the gap between them. Crashing their lips together.

“I love you,” Eunha whispered, “And I am yours.”

“Eunbi…” Sowon murmured, “Don’t say that kind of thing.”

“Why?”

“It’ll make me want to kiss you.”

“So kiss me.”

“I won’t be able to stop if I do.”

“Then, don’t stop, unnie,” Eunha said against Sowon’s collarbone. “Kiss me.”

And true to her words, Sowon didn’t stop kissing her till there’s marks on Eunha’s neck. Till their hairs were tousled over. Till the bed was croaked. They didn’t stop. Till the night fell deeper and deeper into darkness.
