Ha Neul's POV

After school ended, I walked home alone. Jonghyun had work. His new work in a cafe. I changed my clothes and walked around in a park aimlessly. 

"Aish.. Who cares if that Mi Yeon is rich? Rich doesn't mean anything." I said to myself as I kicked a pebble. 

I do have a family. It's just that their not with me in Korea. Is it such a huge matter? Living alone doesn't mean I don't have a family. I would prefer to be alone too. I wouldn't want to take over my family's business. My sister could take over. Is coming to Korea a mistake from the start? I just wanted to be a normal person. Is it that difficult to be a normal person? Sigh. Should I return to New York? 

"Ha Neul!" 

I turned around and saw Taemin. 

"What are you doing here alone?" asked Taemin.

"I'm just walking aimlessly." I replied as I looked down. 

Taemin walked beside me.

"Taemin ah. Is Mi Yeon that rich?" I asked. 

"Her family is owns a huge company in Korea. It's famous. So she should be pretty rich." said Taemin.

I nodded my head and continued walking. Taemin accompanied me. We sat on a bench after walking. 

"Taemin ah. Should I have not come here in the first place?" I asked. 

"Why are you asking that?" asked Taemin.

"Ani. It's nothing. Forget it." I said. 

"Wae? Are you leaving?!" asked Taemin as he stood up.

"I'm leaving." I said to Taemin as I walked away.

"Wait!" said Taemin as he held my hand.

"Where are you going?!" asked Taemin.

"H-Home. It's getting late." I said to Taemin as I smiled.

"Yah! Don't scare me like that!" said Taemin.

"Mianhae Taemin." I said as I messed up his hair and headed home. 

Should I return? If I return, I would have to take over the business. My mum said that I'm talented in business. But Hyun Hee unnie is elder. Shouldn't the elder one take over the business? But if I return, I would have to marry someone just for our business. I didn't know why but Hyun Hee unnie is excluded from the marriage. I'm still too young to marry someone. Which is why I decided to come to Korea. I wanted to visit our hometown and see if I could find an answer here. 

"Ha Neul? What are you doing here?" asked Jonghyun.

Jonghyun? Where am I? I looked around. Ah.. I was too engrossed in thinking and I ended up walking to Jonghyun's work place. 

"I'm just walking." I answered.

"It's late already. Ah.. You must be here to pick me up after work right? Wait here! I'll change my clothes!" said Jonghyun.

Late? I looked at my phone clock. It's already 10. Ah.. Jonghyun said his work ends at 10. 

"Ha Neul! Let's go!" said Jonghyun as he pulled me. 

We walked home quietly. I was thinking on our way home. I've been in Korea for 6 months. I've not have any answers. Grandfather told me if I have any problems, return to our hometown. I couldn't find any answers. Grandfather.. I couldn't find them. 

"Ha Neul?" asked Jonghyun.

Answers.. It's either I would return to New York and marry someone for our business..

"Ha Neul ah!" 

Or I stay in Korea and leave the business for Hyun Hee unnie. But Hyun Hee unnie can't handle it by herself. No matter how, it seems that I had to return to New York. 

"Ha Neul!!!" Jonghyun shouted.

"M-Mwo?!" I answered.

"Yah! What were you thinking? I called you 3 times!" said Jonghyun.

"Mian." I replied. 

"What were you thinking?" asked Jonghyun.

"Whether should I return to New York to take over our business or not." I said without thinking. 

"Mwo?! What business?" asked Jonghyun.

Ahh.. Pabo Ha Neul! Why did I say that?! 

"Ani. I.. erm.. was thinking of a movie. Th-That was a line from the movie! Ahahaha.." I laughed awkwardly. 

I quickly walked in front of him and went in our house. Jonghyun grabbed my wrist before I could escape to my room.

"Ha Neul. You're lying." said Jonghyun.

"A-Ani!" I said. 

"You always stutter when you're shocked or you're lying." said Jonghyun.

"I.. I w-was shocked because you just s-suddenly held my wrist!" I said as I struggled to release my wrist. 

"Tell me the truth." said Jonghyun. 

I looked at him. He was serious. I can't tell him the truth. I promised to Hyun Hee unnie that I wouldn't tell anyone about our business. Until she gets to handle the business. Or.. I have no choice but to return New York. 

"It-It's nothing!" I said.

"Tell me the truth." Jonghyun repeated. 

"I can't" I replied.

"Wae?" asked Jonghyun.

"I promised." I said. 

"Even if you're gonna leave? Even if you're not going to be in Korea you still wouldn't tell me?" said Jonghyun.

"M-mwo?" I asked him.

"Taemin told me everything. He was worried. He said you were acting weird. You said something about should you have come here in the first place." said Jonghyun.

That pabo Taemin! Why did he tell Jonghyun!

"Mianhae Jonghyun ah. What's the point of me staying here if no one wants me here? At least if I return to New York, someone would want me. It's better for everyone." I said. 

"No. You can't leave. I want you to stay beside me." said Jonghyun.

I looked at him. 

"Jonghyun. I'm serious. I'm not joking about it." I said.

"I'm serious too. I want you to stay with me. Tell me why you want to leave." said Jonghyun. 

"I told you I can't tell!" I said. 

"I promise that I wouldn't tell anyone." said Jonghyun.

"I can't.. It's a promise.." I said as my tears slowly fell. 

"Ha-Ha Neul?!" said Jonghyun, shocked.

He quickly wiped my tears.

"Mianhae. I won't ask you anymore." said Jonghyun while hugging me. 

"Ani. I'll tell you. Just don't tell anyone." I said as I wiped away my never ending tears.
