“DADDY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” Loki jumped onto the bed, waking me up.

“Shhh~” I covered his mouth.

“Mmmm!!!” He smacked Junhyung on his arm, causing him to jump.

“What?!” He sat up.

“Loki!” I frowned, while the boy just grinned.

“Wakey wakey, Daaaady!” Loki squashed Junhyung’s cheeks.

“Mmm~ Why are you up so early, my little monster?” Junhyung hugged Loki tightly.

“Let Daddy sleep.” I said, smacking his bum lightly.

“Nooooooooooooooooooo~ Let’s go, Daddy! Let’s go!” Loki tried to struggle out of Junhyung’s grip.

“Go? To where?” Junhyung asked.

“You forgot!?” Loki pouted.

Junhyung looked at me, as thou asking for a hint.

Junhyung had promise the kids to bring them for a camping trip, but he was so tired that I kind of wished the kids would forget it, then again, how is it even possible for them to forget?

“Oh! The camping trip!” Junhyung said.

“Yes!! Let’s go!!!” Loki jumped on Junhyung without even realizing it.

“Aigoo~ Aigoo~” Junhyung choked.

“Darling!! Don’t do that!” I grabbed his legs.

He sat on Junhyung’s stomach and shook his arms.

“Daaaaady~ Let’s gooooooooooooo!!” Loki whined.

“Darling~” I tried to get him to face me but he kept whining.

“Loki! Yong Loki! Look at me.” I cupped his cheeks.

He was pouting excessively.

“Baby, Daddy is tired. Can we postpone the trip?” I asked.

“BUT YOU POSTPONED IT THREE TIMES!!!!” He got upset.

“I know, I know. But Daddy is sleepy.” I tried to reason.

“Noooooo~ Daddy, let’s go!! Pleaseeeeeee!!” He pleaded.

Junhyung smiled tiredly at his son.

“Loki, be a good boy.” I said.

“YOU ALWAYS ASK ME TO BE A GOOD BOY, BUT YOU’RE NOT GOOD!!!” He shouted in my face.

He smacked Junhyung on his chest before jumping off the bed and stomping out of the room.

“LOKI!!!” I yelled after him but was greeted by the slamming of the door.

I turned to Junhyung who sat up, burying his face in his palms.

“I’ll just go.” He said.

“But look at you, you can’t even open your eyes!” I said.

“It was last month that I promised them. They have been nice enough to let me postpone it so many times. I’m really fine.” He said.

“You’re not fine! This is like the longest you have slept in two weeks, and it’s not even five hours! Look at your face! You look like you’re going to pass out! The campsite wouldn’t close down, and Loki will be fine after a bit of coaxing!” I said.

“I don’t want to disappoint them further.” He said, kissing me on my cheek before getting out of bed.

He stumbled a little, but managed to balance himself.

“Junroro, please!” I frowned.

“I’ll be fine~” He said as he walked out of the room.

“YONG BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” He yelled.

“WHAT!!!” I heard Loki yell back.

“Aigoo~ Is my baby angry?” Junhyung asked.

“No! I’m sad!” Loki crossed his arms, turning his body away from Junhyung.

“Oh no! You’re sad?! What should I do to make you happy? Like this?” Junhyung asked, throwing him into the air.

“AHHHHHH!!! Noooooooooooooooo!!! HAHAHAHA!!” He laughed.

“Still sad!? Hmm?!” Junhyung continued to throw him into the air.

“YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!” Loki screamed.

“Enough, enough.” I said to Junhyung.

“We’ll go for the trip, okay?” Junhyung said, kissing Loki on his cheeks.

“Really!?” Loki’s eyes beamed.

“Yes~ So what are you waiting for?” Junhyung asked, letting the boy down.

“YAY!!!! NOONA!!!!! HYUNG!!!! WAKEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” He shouted as he ran.

“Quiet down! You might even wake Minji noona and Seungho ahjusshi with your voice.” I said.

Junhyung laughed as he watch Loki get all excited.

“You really don’t have to do this.” I said.

“Lionny, it’s a promise.” He said, sounding tired to argue.

“Fine.” I muttered.

“I know you’re concerned.” He squeezed my arm lightly.

“But I’m really okay. I can take care of them. I promise.” He assured.

I nodded.

“Just be safe.” I said.

“Yes, my love.” He kissed me on my forehead.

“I’ll go prepare food for you guys then.” I said.

“Thanks~” He pulled my hair playfully.

“Tsk!” I elbowed him in his chest.

He pretended to look like he was in pain.

“You can still back out.” I said as he put stuff into the car.

He was still yawning and obviously very tired but he was trying to look like he was okay.

“What is it, Lionny? Why do you keep trying to cancel it?” He asked, frustrated.

“I just… I just wish you’ll rest.” I said.

“I already told you I’m fine, didn’t I? They’ll never talk to me again if I cancel it. You want that to happen or something?” He asked.

“NO! How could you even say that?” I asked.

“Then stop trying to get me to cancel the trip!” He slammed the boot shut.

“I…” At the corner of my eye, I saw the kids staring at us.

“Fine. Just take care.” I muttered to him as I headed to the kids.

“Don’t bully Daddy.” I said to them as I kissed them on their forehead.

“Bye bye, Ummaieeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!” Loki kissed me all over my face.

“Little monster~” I pinched his cheeks.

He chuckled before climbing into the car.

“Bye, umma.” Ji Eun said, kissing me on my cheek.

“See you, umma~” Tae Hyun smiled.

As the kids settled into the car, Junhyung came towards me.

“Sorry~” He apologized.

“What?” I asked.

“I was rude. Sorry.” He pouted.

“It’s fine.” I punched his stomach lightly.

“Aigoo~” He whined.

“Take care. Stop the car if you get tired. Rest if you need.” I said.

“Yes, yes. We’ll be back tomorrow!” He squashed my cheeks.

“UGHHHH!!!” I whined.

He laughed and let go.

“It’s painful!” I frowned.

“Sorry~” He laughed.

“DAAAAAAAAAAAAADY!!!!” Loki shouted.

“COMING!!!” Junhyung yelled.

“I’ll miss you.” I said.

“Me too. Don’t stay up too late. Eat huh~ If you get lonely, go to Seungho hyung’s place.” He said.

“Are you coming back tomorrow or next year?” I laughed.

“I’m concerned! Tsk!” He made faces at me.

“Alright, alright. Go on.” I said.

“Love you.” He kissed me on my cheek.

“Love you.” I kissed him back.

I waved to them as they left.

He was very tired, but I know I could do nothing to stop him from bonding with his kids, I just hope he would take good care.
