[ Mayling Prologue ]

I was laying in bed looking at the ceiling. I couldn't manage to close my eyes.

My mind was too occupied.

Trying to recall the details of everything that just happened today.

I just felt like I made a mistake.

I regretted with every bone of my body what I did.

Looking to the side Soobin was sleeping.

And I just felt like I ruined him. 

I am going to ruin the perception of love for him.

It was the next morning and I got up at 6 am. 

Trying not to wake him. I sneaked out and left by 6:45 am.

I felt uncomfortable in my own body.

Exhausted I got to the office. 

And just laying my head on the table. 

I heard a knock on my table.

" Hey, you are early" I head a bubbly voice say.

" oh hey" I heard Minah say and rubbed my eyes.

" You look tired, let me get you some tea," she said and looked at me concerned.

" Thank you" I replied as I got out my face powder to look into the tiny mirror that is provided.

Looking at my reflection I could visibly see the dark circles under my eyes.

Trying to use my concealer to cover up. ( Conceal don't feel don't let them know - yes it's a frozen reference)

" Here you go" she walked back in and places a cup of tea on my desk.

" Everything okay, you left the office early yesterday?"

" Yes, everything okay," she asked me.

" Yes" I smiled at her and she left.

The next days passed fast. The boys went to Japan to promote.

I felt relieved, to be honest.

The past weeks I would feel uncomfortable walking in the halls. 

I was scared to see them.

" BO!!!" I heard a loud sound from behind me as I was walking to my car heading home.

"Jesus you scared me," I said and turned to see Deea.

" Guitly? or why scared so fast?" she laughed.

" No..."

" Anyway... where are you heading?"

" Home... wanna join for dinner?"

" What's for dinner?"

" Ramyun" 

"  You poor soul" 

" Let's go groceries, I don't want to eat out. I look like " I said to her

We headed to the groceries. 

" Look at us being responsible adults and cooking" Deea laughed

" added an egg to cup noodles considered cooking?" I added.

Heading to the counter there were Soju bottles on display. 

" Do you think what I am thinking" Deea smiled. She was in an awfully good mood today.

" Well the last time we did that it didn't go so well" I whispered.

" What it didn't? It went well for me" she
