[ May Prologue ]

I was still processing what was happening. 

I looked at Ethan. 

" I'll get the door he said" and walked towards the door without waiting for my response. I felt like he was disappointed. Did he like me? He just only met me. Or perhaps I am thinking too much.

I observed him walking to the door and I was nervous. 

Would Jungkook really come all the way here? and how would he even know which room I am at?

" Can I help you?" I heard Ethan's voice and I couldn't believe my eyes it was really Jungkook.

I just felt like the world stop spinning. I felt touched that he came to find me. But somehow confused. 

" I'm here to see May" I could hear Jungkooks soft voice. 

Ethan turned around and looked at me. 

I gave him a nod.

" I'll check up on you tomorrow morning" Ethan replied to me.

" Thank you, get home well" I replied to him and he walked out of the room.

Jungkook finally entered and I saw him holding a small bouquet of flowers.

I was speechless and it was just one of those moments when you just want to say so much but you don't have the courage to say a single word.

He walked towards the chair next to my bed, the same chair Ethan was sitting in. Taking off his face mask he looked at me. 

There was a long pause.

" What happened to you?" he asked and moved closer to me and looked sad.

" Long story" I tried to joke and I felt my phone vibrate.

I quickly glanced at my phone and it was Ethan.

" Well you have time now" he replied as he noticed that I was looking at my phone. Without being able to read the message I put my phone under the blanket and looked at Jungkook. His glance was dead serious. 

" My mother is sick" I replied softly because I felt intimidated by him for a moment.

" and you? why are you in the hospital?" he asked maintaining his fierce tone. 

 I am "sick" he shouldn't shout at me.
