Jae Min looked at Woohyun up and down, one side of his mouth tilting up into a smirk.

“What are you doing here?” He asked as Woohyun gulped.

“I-I-I just wanted to talk to your dad about something.” Woohyun replied as Jae Min sighed, opening the door wider and gesturing for Woohyun to go in. Woohyun slipped off his shoes, stepping into the house cautiously as Jae Min turned around to head back upstairs.

Woohyun closed his eyes for a second, before sighing deeply and grabbing onto Jae Min’s arm. Jae Min flinched at Woohyun’s touch, turning around swiftly and standing face to face with Woohyun.

“Yes?” Jae Min asked as Woohyun sighed once again.

“I just want to…. Say… sorry….” Woohyun whispered as he looked down to the floor apologetically. “I never wished to take your dream, I never wished for our friendship to end so suddenly just because of a single competition.”

Jae Min sighed, opening his closed eyes and turning to Woohyun. He breathed in slowly before putting his hand onto Woohyun’s shoulder.

“I’m actually glad you won that day. If you hadn’t won, I don’t think I would’ve come to where I am now. I wouldn’t have met the people I have become friends with, and I might not have met Jae Ni.” Jae Min paused and looked down the floor, before returning his gaze back to Woohyun. “So… I guess… thankyou.” Jae Min said sincerely as a twinkle came into Woohyun’s eyes.

Woohyun couldn’t hold himself back; he pulled Jae Min into his embrace.  Jae Min smiled as Woohyun pulled back.

“So we’re cool now?” Woohyun asked as Jae Min nodded. Jae Min smiled, before turning around and making his way up the stairs to call down his dad.

Woohyun smiled to himself, before fist pumping and jumping in joy.

Just at that moment, Jae Ni’s dad stopped at the bottom of the stairs, giving Woohyun a weird look as Woohyun continued to bounce around the room. Woohyun twirled around, coming to an abrupt stop when he saw that Jae Ni’s dad was staring weirdly at him. Woohyun coughed awkwardly, rubbing the back of his neck and lowering his gaze to the floor.

Jae Ni’s dad let out a soft chuckle and reached out to give Woohyun a pat on the back, while leading him to the lounge room and sitting down on the couches across from each other.

“So what did you want to talk to me about?” Jae Ni’s dad asked as Woohyun returned his gaze to Jae Ni’s dad. Woohyun hesitated as he bit his lip.

“I….I wanted…. T-to…” Woohyun stuttered, his fear of Jae Ni’s dad taking over him, and he couldn’t help but shake.

“It’s alright boy, you don’t need to be nervous around me.”

“I…wanted to…. Ask… for Jae Ni… hand….in marriage….” Woohyun finally said as her dad’s eyes widened. “I’m already 22 and I’m loving her more and more every day. It feels like it’s impossible to let go of her, even though you have told us that I cannot be with her. She is my life, without her, I feel like my world has no meaning. I wanted her to be the first person I wake up to, and be the last person she sees when she goes to sleep. I want to be there to catch her when she falls, and bring her back up to her feet.” Woohyun said as he smiled at the thought of Jae Ni. Jae Ni’s dad softened and continued to look at Woohyun as his lips curled into a smile. “I love Jae Ni, and I promise to love her until the day I die. I promise to look after her when she’s at her lowest, and fight for her even if it means hurting myself. “

Woohyun stopped looking up and ceiling then down at his hands.

“I love her, so please…” Woohyun said as he looked expectantly at Jae Ni’s dad.

well just saying, but there won't be any more violence or sadness in the rest of the fic, it all goes up from here (: these next few chapters will basically all be fluff and adorableness... SO ENJOY! <3 i think I'll update a few more times today (:
