Narrator POV

Allyson left their table to look for paper towels or napkins and out of her usual habit she walked while looking at the ground which was a bad idea since she was going at a fast speed.

Crash!

She saw a flash of red hair before she collided with someone holding a plate of pasta. The plate fell onto the floor and all the pasta sauce were poured onto the other person’s white shirt.

“I’m sorry!” she squeaked while ducking her head.

“It’s okay,” a deep voice replied.

That voice. She could recognise it anywhere. Allyson felt her insides freeze; she kept her head down the whole time thinking, what if he recognises me?

That’s not possible right? I’m wearing makeup and I don’t have my glasses, he could never tell that it was me. Calm down Al…

The other person was busy dusting himself off when he noticed her sitting on the ground not moving.

The plate didn’t happen to hit her in head when it went flying right? No wonder Abuji always calls me clumsy.  He scratched his head uncomfortably, “Are… you okay?” and offered a hand to help her up.

Allyson felt her cheeks burn. This is so embarrassing, I’m the one that bumped into him but he’s acting like it’s his fault.

She ignored his hand and helped herself up since her palms were sweaty.

“I’m okay, I’m sorry,” she apologised again, “D-do you need help with that?” she pointed to the stain on his shirt and slightly winced; it stood out so much against the white shirt.

He cleared his throat, “Um, no thanks I can take care of it… and uh… have we met anywhere before? You seem… familiar…”

Allyson stood awkwardly with her eyes still glued to the floor not daring to look up. Her heart was pounding hard against her ribcage as her face continued to turn red.

What’s wrong with you? She thought to herself. Get a grip and just say no…

“Uh…” Allyson thought hard about what to say but thankfully someone beat her to it.

“MARK TUAN! NO FLIRTING WITH PRETTY GIRLS WHEN YOU’RE WORKING!”

“Yes Eomeoni,” Mark replied but didn’t move.

He works here? Allyson suddenly thought but that thought was quickly distracted by a sudden escape plan that had came into her head.

“Sorry to get you into trouble! I won’t bother you anymore!” she bowed one last time and finally was able to run away.

Mark watched her go, he wondered if he was developing a short term memory because he was sure that he had seen her somewhere, which was weird since he usually did not pay attention to the people around him unless they were Got7.

His eyes travelled to something on the floor.

“Wait!” he called after her but she had already disappeared, “You dropped your earring…” Mark shrugged and shoved it into his pocket.
