Narrator POV

“I’m hungry why isn’t Noona home yet???” Zelo wondered around the house restlessly chomping on the side of an empty bowl. Nate followed his twin around copying him. Mason came out of his room after hearing the twin’s complaints, he checked his new Super Junior watch (yes he was a Suju fanboy).

“Noona said that she was going to be back at 6:30… it’s 7:30,” Mason hopelessly adjusted his snapback, his hair had grown out quickly and was now back to normal however after being around Jackson Hyung so much, he grew a habit of wearing a hat.

Nate groaned and rubbed his empty stomach, he looked at Mason pleadingly, “Hyung you’re the oldest one here, can you cook for us? Peel us an apple? ANYTHING HELPS!”

“Uh…” Mason scratched his neck, “Noona told me to not touch anything in the kitchen.”

“But Hyung we’re hungry,” Zelo was almost going to start crying if someone wasn’t going to give him something to eat within the next few minutes.

“I miss Kevin Hyung…” Nate quietly spoke turning Zelo silent in an instant.

Mason walked over and hugged the two twins, Nate already had tears on the brim of his eyes, “Remember all those times, when we complained about being hungry after dinner and Kevin Hyung would sneak into the kitchen and get us cookies or chips?”

Zelo sniffed nodding his head as he buried his face into Mason’s chest, by now, even Mason was tearing up.

The three brothers stayed huddled together in the middle of the living room as nostalgia circled them. Before they knew it, they were all crying their hearts out that they didn’t even notice someone coming into the house.

It cracked her heart when she saw the scene before her.

“Why are you guys crying?” so scornfully? Ally quickly ran over and engulfed all three them in her arms.

“N-Noona,” Zelo hiccupped out between his sobs.

“We miss Kevin Hyung,” Nate cried.

“Kevin…” Ally echoed and she couldn’t help but be enraged by the name.

“We were hungry,” Mason explained, “And we suddenly remembered all those time where Hyung would sneak us food…”

Ally felt her heart getting ripped out, she couldn’t help but feel like it was her fault, if she had came home on time then the boys wouldn’t have starved, if they weren't starving then they wouldn’t have remembered Kevin. 

It's already been months since that name was mentioned in this house, nobody dared to speak of him in front of Umma and Appa and frankly the thought of their eldest hyung just brought everybody to tears like it had done now... except for Allyson. When she thought of her twin it stirred up disappointment and betrayal. 

No it isn’t my fault, it is his fault, it’s his fault I’m late, it’s his fault that the kids are crying, Ally tightened her jaw as she silently dried her brother's tears, he's free from Umma and Appa but everybody else is paying the price.

When she had finally stopped the waterworks she remembered the first reason why they started crying; they were hungry, and honestly speaking, she was too, they all haven't eaten anything after lunch which was more than seven hours ago.

“What do you guys want to eat?” Ally asked as she gently helped Nate off of her lap.

“Anything,” the three of them spoke in sync.

Ally’s heart squeezed when she heard that, they must be hungry… they’re usually specific with their food.

“Araso,” she got up from the floor and looked through the cupboards, within ten minutes, dinner was ready. The table was completely silent except for the slurping of noodles and Zelo’s coughing.

“Slow down,” Allyson patted his back as she got him a cup of water, “I’ll cook another pack if one isn’t enough.” Zelo smiled cutely at her before resuming his slurping.

“Noona I thought you didn’t like it when we have Ramen?” Mason asked in between mouthfuls.

“Once in a while is okay,” Allyson answered but  it was really because ramen was the least time consuming to make.

“Noona why aren’t you eating?” Nate asked staring at his sister’s untouched bowl of noodles.

Ally smiled and pushed it towards the younger one, “Do you want it?” Nate bobbed his head up and down eagerly as he pushed aside his empty bowl replacing it with the full one.
