It Should Have Been Me~~~Narrator’s POV~~~
Meanwhile, somewhere along the coastlines of Daegu, the Kim heiress was seen wlaking with a tall handsome young man.
“Uhmm, Khunnie, it’s hot and I wanna go inside.” Jaehee said as she looked back at the hotel.
“I thought you were going to accompany me.”
Jaehee narrowed her eyes.
“That’s the meeting you were talking about?!”
Khun grinned sheepishly.
“No way.” Jaehee turned away but, Khun lifted her on his shoulder.
“You have to meet them, you should go.”
“Ya, Ho Nichkhun, PUT ME DOWN!” Jaehee shrieked.
“You promised me.”
“You said MEETING, AS IN WORK.”
Khun laughed as he effortlessly brisk walked to the dock.
Jaehee’s POV
I promise, I will kil this guy, best friend or NOT.
“You’ll like my friends, I swear.” He finally placed me down, he fixed my hair and made me go up the make shift stairs to the yacht.
“I swear I will kill you~”
“Khun-ah, finally!” A guy who has red hair gave him a manly hug.
“Yeah, guys this is my friend, Kim Jaehee.” Khun introduced me to his friends.
“Hey, I’m Junho.” Red haired guy shook my hand.
“Nice to meet you.” I smiled.
“So, Hee, this is Taecyeon, Wooyoung,Chansung and Junsu.”
I nodded and shook their hands.
“Wooyoung-ah? Jang Wooyoung.” I said.
“Well, cant say nice meeting you.” He teased.
“You two know each other?”
“Yeah, he’s Minyoung’s cousin.” I said as they offered me to sit.
“Jung Minyoung? Jae’s…?”
I nodded.
“So, what am I doing here?” I asked as I took a sip from the glass of water.
“I just wanted you to meet the guys, *howling* because, you’re my best friend.” Khun glared at them.
“No malice there, it’s true.” I smiled as I eyed him warily.
“Jaehee, you better change.” Wooyoung said as I saw Chansung grab a hose?!
“Yeah, I should, thanks.” I grabbed my bag and went in the cabin.
Yunho’s POV
After the meeting I decided to walk around the shore. There were a lot of children running around with their floaters. I took off my coat and draped it around my shoulder.
My phone rang.
Minyoung
“Oppa, how did the meeting go?”
“It went…well, I’m at the beach.”
“Show off, anyway, you get all the vitamin D.”
“We should have an outing sometime.”
“Totally, with Jaehee?” I heard her giggle.
“What are you implying, Youngie?”
“I’m not blind.”
“Fine, I’ll give her-”
Something-someone caught my attention, there were at least 7 or 8 people descending from a private yacht. 6 guys and a girl. They were all laughing.
I felt my chest tighten.
The young lady was holding one man’s arm.
I dropped my phone.
The girl looked at me, she smiled.
“Yunho oppa?” She made her way to me.
Jaehee’s POV
It’s Yunho oppa.
Oh, right, he did mention about Daegu this morning.
I let go of Khun’s arm and walked to him.
But, he turned away.
I kept pace with him.
“Oppa, where are you-” I held his wrist.
“I have to go.” He shrugged me off, his tone was harsh.
“..okay, bye oppa.”
He walked away.
“What was that?” Khun asked as he stood beside me.
“Did you say something to my cousin?” Wooyoung asked.
I shook my head.
“He’s jealous.” Khun stated.
“…No, why~~would he—be?” I stuttered.
“Whatever you say, okay come on, let’s get you home, Jae’s looking for you.”
