Amber’s Pov

“What are you thinking?” I asked standing behind her rubbing her shoulders while we looked at ourselves in the mirror. “Hmm...what’s going on inside that head of yours?” I continued pulling her hotel robe tighter around her because it had fallen open exposing the body that was underneath.

“It’s sweet that you think you still have to protect my modesty after what we just did,” she said holding onto my arms and keeping them around her.

“It’s a reflex, I can’t really control it.”

“What is it with us and bathrooms huh?” she asked.

“I don’t know,” I said chuckling. “I hadn’t thought about it until right now. Our first kiss and now this. A lot of firsts have happened in a bathroom. Should we continue the trend and just get married in one?”

“Definitely not. The trend ends here,” she said trying to sound serious.

“So truthfully how are you feeling about everything?” I asked concerned.

“Truthfully?” she repeated turning her head to look at me.

I nodded my head searching her eyes.

“I’ve never felt closer to you. It was...it was...incredible.”

“Even though we didn’t quite...ugh I can’t even say it...” I said blushing.

“Hey,” she said turning around to face me. “It was our first time. Of course it wasn’t going to be completely perfect. But it felt perfect. It wasn’t planned. It happened because there was no other way we could express how much we loved each other. We were just trusting our instincts and more importantly each other. It really felt like we were one person. I don’t want you to think back on this and feel like it was diminished by the fact that we didn’t achieve es on our first try. We have a lot of time to perfect this you know. We are new to all of this, I think we are aloud a learning curve,” she said kissing me.

She was right, as usual. It was perfect in the most amazing way. We both were so concerned about pleasing the other that it was love in its purest form. It was scary and exciting. Tentative and bold all at the same time. It was us and it was beautiful. All that mattered was how we expressed our love to each other. 

“You still with me?” Krystal asked touching my face.

“Yeah I am. I was just thinking about what you said. I just want to take care of you in every way. And that includes this.”

“It felt so good even without that. It was nothing short of amazing. Believe that.”

“I do, sorry I was doubting it. I think I was trying to judge it by what other people would think a perfect first time would be,” I said.

“You can’t do that. This is just about us. Something that is just between us.”

“Just you and me,” I sighed happily.

“Just me and the future Mrs. Liu,” I said picking her up into my arms.

“Woah there prince charming,” she said holding on tight. “You seem to be picking me up a lot lately. Are you sure that this is a job for a servant?”

“Absolutely not. It is a privilege to carry you. And I think it’s in my prince contract somewhere. That the future Mrs. should always be carried over a threshold,” I told her walking out of the bathroom and laying her down on the bed.
