The Walls Have Ears



I woke up to the gentle breeze that brushed past me. I looked around, unsure where I wound up.

I looked to my left and saw Khun Khun sleeping peacefully. I started to recall the events that happened earlier.

I walked out of the apartment and went to have some fresh air. 

Unexpectedly, I got to talk to Jiyong though nothing fruitful came out of it, just more pain and hurt.

Not able to take it anymore, I flee once again, only to be caught by Khun Khun.

He held me in his arms as I shared all my stored up feelings, confessing all my insecurities, things I have not disclose to anyone else.

Then we sat here and he listened some more, not once judging me for whatever I have said.

He let me lean on his shoulder until peace and calm found me.

I looked at his sleeping form again, this time, I concentrated at looking at his face.

It was as if it's the first time I have ever truly looked at him. I noticed how precisely pointed his nose was and how thin his upper lip was. I also noticed how clear his skin was, probably the reason he was called "prince". I laughed a little when I noticed that his eyebrows were shaped similarly to Shin Chan's eyebrows.

Looking at his sleeping form, he resembled an innocent child. Now I can see why he has a lot of fan girls. I chuckled.

I leaned my head again in his shoulder and looked at the empty road in front of us.

"You're so sweet, Khun Khun." I whispered.

"Why couldn't I have met you before Jiyong?" I asked, closing my eyes once again and shutting out all of the noise and worries of the world.

Minji woke up to a sudden knock on the door. She sleepily walked towards the door, like a zombie awaken from a deep slumber.

Her eyes grew wide as she recognized the visitor who woke her up from her peaceful sleep.

"Teddy oppa!" The maknae couldn't help but hugged their mentor and dedicated producer. CL, Bom and Dara, who all heard Minji screamed, all ran and hugged Teddy as well.

"Oppa!" CL burst into tears while hugging Teddy. Bom covered and cried as well. Teddy laughed and shuffled her hair. Dara came from behind Bom and was crying nonstop as well.

"What took you so long to visit us?" Dara asked through her tears. Teddy laughed again and hugged her tight.

"Hello to you too." He teased, pinching her nose which she wrinkled.

"Sorry if it took a long time for me to visit you." He apologized. "I was working on some of the boys materials and had to finish it before they start their promotion." He explained. 

As if on cue, Big Bang came in, all dressed to impress. Seungri looked extra slick and polished.

"Ya!" He exclaimed. "Why didn't you cry when we came to visit you yesterday?" He asked, hurt. CL stuck her tongue out to him.

"Are you Teddy oppa?" She answered sarcastically. Seung Hyun chuckled.

"Pawned." He teased Seungri. The maknae hissed at him which he coolly ignored.

"Well, we're glad you're here." Bom said to Teddy. She turned to Big Bang. "We're also happy that you guys are here." She smiled sincerely. Dara, CL and Minji smiled as well.

"So, why did you come and visit us?" CL asked.

"Well, first, I missed all of you." Teddy answered. CL's heart leaped a little. "Also, I came here to watch over you." He added. Bom frowned.

"Don't you think five guys are enough to watch over us?" Bom asked, pointing to the members of Big Bang. 

Teddy was confused. He looked at each member of Big Bang but all of them avoided his eyes. He suddenly realized what that meant.

"Why, you guys..." He was about to say something when Seung Hyun suddenly put his arm around his shoulder and spoke up.

"You see, Teddy hyung here is like an appa." He said with a forced laugh. "He worries about his kids too much that's why he decided to visit them and watch over them." CL raised her eyebrow.

"Neh neh!" Seungri nodded as he stepped in to Teddy's left side and placed his arm around the other shoulder of Teddy. "You might thing Teddy hyung here is just a cold-hearted ahjussi scolding you when you commit a mistake." Teddy was now fuming. "But you see, he's just an oppa worrying about the welfare of his beloved kids." He finished dramatically. 2NE1 was wondering if they happened to be involved in a hidden camera show.

All the girls could say was, "Eh?" Youngbae couldn't help but chuckle at their maknae and oldest member's antics.

It was Teddy's turn to speak. "What appa and ahjussi? You want to see an ahjussi's foot in both your mouths?!" Teddy yelled.

With that, a cat and mouse chase commence. The remaining people in the apartment laughed out loud, enjoying the childishness the three were showing.

Jiyong looked over at Dara who was laughing out loud. He smiled upon seeing her smile genuinely. 

That's it, Dara-sshi. Smile again. You have to be strong for yourself.

Big Bang and Teddy waited in the living room while 2NE1 prepared. They watched the TV while waiting for the girls.

When the girls came in a little later, the guys couldn't help but smile. All the girls looked beautiful, fresh, glowing and excited.

Avex Group's President, Max Matsuura informed them yesterday that he has some exciting news to share with the girls and ever since that, the girls have been giddy as to what the news is all about.

2NE1, Big Bang and Teddy left the girls' apartment and headed towards the Avex Group Headquarters.

2NE1 nervously sat down in the cold, conference room in the Avex Group Headquarters. The girls were thankful that Teddy was there to accompany them. God knows what the girls will do once they found out what the "news" is all about.

Dara was fidgeting with her phone when it suddenly rang. The girls frowned at her, telling her to put her phone in silent mode. She quickly did so and checked who was texting her so early in the morning.

Noona! How was your sleep? I hope you're not too tired. =p

Dara smiled upon seeing the message. Furthermore, it was the sender that made her smile.

"Khun Khun." She whispered. She immediately replied.

Khun Khun! I slept alright. My pillow last night was quite comfortable though a bit muscular. Kinda hurt my neck a bit. Kkkkk ^_^

Dara laughed at her text while on the other line, her textmate blushed at the response she sent.

Ya! Are you teasing me? Then go look for chubby pillow. Hmp! >=<

Nichkhun sent the message. He waited for her reply and was not disappointed.

Aw Khun Khun is mad. Bad noona! -_-

Dara waited for his response.

Yes, bad noona! Must treat her dongsaeng to a fulfilling meal! =D

Dara giggled at the text message she received. Minji, who was sitting next to her, noticed her giddiness.

"Unni, why are you giggling?" She asked, curious. Dara waved her hands.

"Mianhe, Minji." She answered while giggling still. "Khun Khun is just too funny." She answered.

"Ahh." Minji answered, secretly smiling. Dara went back to texting.

How does ice cream in Ikebukuro sound? ^_^

She waited for his answer.

Sounds like it's not a fulfilling meal but I'm suddenly craving for an ice cream! =D

Dara smiled and keyed in her message.

Araso! ^_^

He replied immediately.

Kanshamida! =D

Dara placed her phone in her bag and smiled at the thought of escaping to get ice cream again with Khun Khun. It's been weeks since they last did that.

Big Bang was waiting outside the conference room in Avex Group headquarters. Only Teddy was allowed inside with the girls.

"Taec!" The Big Bang boys looked to their right and saw JYJ's Jaejoong giving high fives to 2PM.

Why are they here? Jiyong asked, frowning. His eyes went to Nichkhun who looked extra happy. His frowned deepened as he remembered seeing Dara holding his when they returned to the apartment from buying groceries.

As if sensing someone watching him, Nichkhun looked at Jiyong. The smile he had earlier faded. His face turned serious as he stared intently at Jiyong.

Jiyong noticed the change in Nichkhun's expression. Beside him, he heard Seungri hissed.

"That punk!" He said under his breath, looking at Taecyeon as he was laughing. "Thinks he's all that just because he acted in a drama." Beside him, Seung Hyun was boring holes into Junsu's head.

"Neh." He agreed. "If only I could pull out those panda eyes of him so he could stop staring at Bo-, the girls." He immediately revised his statement. Daesung nodded.

"Have you seen how that Junho was becoming cozy with Lil Minji? Doesn't he know she's a minor." He chipped in. "And that Wooyoung. He's practically drooling every time Dara noona walks in." He added. Jiyong's brows furrowed.

"Don't forget Nichkhun." He hissed under his breath. "He acts all lovey-dovey with Dara as if he's the boyfriend or something." He narrowed his eyes to Nichkhun who was still staring at him, not backing down.

The boys looked at Jiyong. "Aniyo. I never saw Nichkhun act lovey-dovey towards noona." Seungri said, confused.

Daesung agreed. "Neh. Actually, he's the most decent among the 2PM members." Jiyong's brows furrowed more.

Seung Hyun placed a hand in Jiyong's forehead. "Are you delusional or something, huh, Kwon Leadah?" Jiyong slapped his hand away from his forehead.

"They're really not that bad." Youngbae said calmly. All four boys were ready to pounce on him when they noticed 2PM approaching them.

Seungri suddenly straightened his posture and set his hands into fists. 

Seung Hyun readied his laser-like eyes and aimed it at Junsu. 

Jiyong narrowed his eyes even more, not taking his eyes off Nichkhun. 

Daesung fixed his bangs that were getting in the way of his eyes.

Youngbae smiled at Chansung as they came closer.

"What are you guys doing here?" Chansung asked in a friendly manner.

"We're waiting for 2NE1." Youngbae answered with a smile. He had grown to respect Chansung as they were able to talk last night.

"They're inside?" Taecyeon asked suddenly smiled, looking at the door. Seungri frowned at him.

"Don't piss yourself from too much excitement!" He snapped. Taecyeon smirked at him.

"Sorry for waiting. Our other guests have not arrived yet." Max Matsuura informed the girls.

"Other guests? You mean, we're not the only one involved in this special news?" CL asked. Matsuura nodded.

"As I've said, it's something big. But I believe it will be better if I tell you once they're here." The girls nodded.

After a few minutes, they heard a knock followed by the sound of the footsteps of six muscular Korean boys.

Matsuura smile. "Good. 2PM's finally here!"

Big Bang pressed their ears to the door to listen to the conversation inside the conference room. Ever since 2PM entered the conference room, all of them were dying to hear the conversation inside.

".... As I've told 2NE1 earlier, I have a big news for all of you." Matsuura was saying.

"I was approached by the world-renowned fragrance brand, Anna Sui. They want to feature 2NE1 and 2PM in a commercial campaign!" He shared excitedly.

The two groups gasped. Outside, Big Bang was shocked as well.

"This will be a full-blown campaign. Broadcast, print ad, web... name it." Matsuura continued. 

"You will be doing a TV commercial, a spread in magazines, a feature in official Anna Sui website, the works." Matsuura turned to Teddy.

"Anna Sui wants to use a 2PM and 2NE1 song." He said. "But seeing us they haven't collaborated before, Hyun Suk, Jin Young and I agreed to use a song of 2NE1 which suits the concept of the commercial and remix it to reflect 2PM's answer to the song. Hyun Suk suggested that Teddy here will be the one to arrange the lyrics for the remix."

Both 2PM and 2NE1 started talking excitedly.

Outside, Big Bang was holding their breaths, their eyes wide open.

"We decided to use the song..." Matsuura started.

"Go Away."
