That warm and beautiful night, Joonmyun walked out of the house and sat down on that porch like he did every night. He looked up at the sky full of stars and a smile appeared on his face. He loved sitting on that porch very much. It was his favorite place after all... and there were a lot of reasons for it.

Once again, a smile on appeared his face as he remembered why that porch meant so much to him. It was the place were he first saw her and he still remembered it as if it was yesterday.

Joonmyun and his family had just moved into that neighborhood and he was walking around to know more about that place. He was distracted looking at the houses, when something caught his attention. His eyes widened and his mouth dropped slightly when he walked past that house and he saw a really beautiful girl sitting on the porch, reading a book. She tucked a strand of hair behind her ear as the wind played with her long wavy hair.

He was suddenly mesmerized by her beauty and he couldn't help but smile. He was so distracted staring at her that he didn't notice where he was walking. He only realized there was a rock in front of him when he tripped and felt down. He heard a loud gasp and some footsteps running towards him.

"Are you ok?" he heard a soft angelic voice and looked up embarrassed. His eyes widened when he saw the beautiful girl from the porch looking at him worried. He suddenly felt stupid for making a fool of himself.

"I'm fine" he said and smiled. "I'm just clumsy"

The girl chuckled slightly and he rubbed the back of his neck nervously.

"You are new in this neighborhood right? I haven't seen you before" she said and he nodded

"Yup, I just moved in" he said and she smiled. He blushed slightly when he saw her smiling.

"Well, welcome here" she said in a friendly manner and he smiled "My name is Park Chorong by the way"

Park Chorong... he swore he would never forget her name from that day on.

"I'm Kim Joonmyun" he said and shook her hand

Joonmyun laughed as he remembered how clumsy he had been and how he had made a fool of himself in front of her. Chorong might have thought he was stupid. He only shook his head and continued reminiscing about the many reasons why that porch was his favorite place.

A playful smile appeared on his face as he remembered how it was the place where he had stolen her first kiss and also the place where he dared to confess his feelings towards her.

The two teenagers walked back home that afternoon after a long day. They were both quiet but the silence wasn't awkward. They had been friends for a couple of years already and they got along very well.

"I had fun today" Chorong said as they arrived to her house. Joonmyun only smiled

"Me too" he said. The two of them looked at each other and remained quiet for a while.

"Well..." she said shyly "I'll see you tomorrow then"

She unlocked the door of her house and was about to walk in when he suddenly grabbed her wrist gently. Chorong was startled and turned around, nervously.

"Chorong, wait" he said softly and she looked at him. He took a deep a breath before leaned forward towards her. Chorong's eyes widened and she could feel her cheeks burning when he got closer and planted a soft kiss on her lips. She closed her eyes and kissed him back and for a moment, they felt as if time had stopped.

When they pulled away, Joonmyun looked down blushed.

"I'm sorry" he said as he rubbed the back of his neck nervously. "But I really like you, Chorong. Ever since the first time I saw you sitting on this porch reading your book, I liked you"

Chorong suddenly felt fluttered by his words and blushed slightly. She looked down and smiled brightly.

"I like you too, Joonmyun" she said and chuckled slightly "Ever since that day you clumsily tripped outside my house"

Joonmyun chuckled as well and blushed too because of the embarrassment, before pulling her into a tight embrace.

It was one of the best moments in his life. The girl he liked, liked him back and he couldn't feel happier that moment. However, that porch did not only held happy moments. It also held sad memories. Memories that still remained in his mind.

That porch was not only the place where he met her and where they got together, it was also the place where they broke up after a terrible fight.  He couldn't remember why it was that they broke up exactly. Now that he thought of it, it was probably something stupid. However, they finished their beautiful relationship and the two of them were too stubborn to admit they were wrong.

After a year or so of breaking up and not talking to each other, Chorong started seeing another guy. Joonmyun clenched his fists as he remembered that guy . He still clearly remembered his face and his name. Lee Minhyuk.

Joonmyun was walking back home so distracted that he didn't even notice he was walking by her house. He only realized it when he heard a familiar voice and he turned around startled. His eyes widened when he saw her there, outside her house talking to a guy he knew from school. They were talking comfortable and laughing and he couldn't help but clench his fists.

"Bye Minhyuk" she said to the guy "I'll see you tomorrow"

"Hey Chorong... aren't you forgetting something?" the guy said with a smile and she looked at him confused. When he was suddenly about to kiss her, her eyes widened and she froze in her spot. She had been seeing Minhyuk for the past weeks, but they weren't a thing. She wasn't ready for another relationship yet and she surely wasn't ready for a kiss from him.

"Don't you dare!" someone suddenly said and pushed him aside. Chorong's eyes widened when she saw that the person that had pushed Minhyuk was Joonmyun. She was shocked at first, but she then frowned angrily.

"What the hell are you doing here, Joonmyun?" she asked angrily, but he didn't reply.

"Yah! Who do you think you are?!" Minhyuk asked him angrily. "Mind your own business!"

"Are you really dating this guy?!" Joonmyun asked angrily at Chorong and she only rolled her eyes

"You and I broke up a  long time ago, so I don't owe you any explanations" she said mad at him for acting like a jealous boyfriend when they were not together.

Joonmyun only scoffed and then looked at the other two sternly. He was angry, really angry and he couldn't explain why. They broke up a long time ago, so it was true that he didn't have any rights to be mad, but he was. His veins were burning in anger when he saw he was about to kiss her.

"He is not the guy for you" he simply said and Minhyuk only laughed. Chorong frowned.

"He is not the guy for me?" she asked sarcastically and then scoffed "Then who is it? You?"

"Yes, me!" he yelled and her eyes widened in shock. He was shocked by his own words as well. He didn't expect to say that aloud. The truth was, he jealous and he hated to see her with someone else.

As Joonmyun remembered it, he thought maybe that Minhyuk guy deserved a punch. He laughed at him own thoughts, but then smiled. After that happened, Chorong and Minhyuk stopped seeing each other. Both Joonmyun and Chorong were still confused about their feelings, but they eventually realized they still loved each other. It took them time, but they got back together and they were happier than ever.

That house held so many memories for him that he got really attached to it. He remembered that when Chorong's parents decided that they wanted to sell the house, he insisted them that they shouldn't. Her parents were touched by this, but they said that they needed to sell the house. So in the end, Joonmyun insisted his parents to buy Chorong's house. At first they thought he was crazy, but after several discussions, they agreed to do it. Now that house belonged to him.

Joonmyun smiled again and was about to stand up and walk back when he suddenly heard some footsteps. He turned his head and a bright smile appeared on his face when he saw the old woman walking towards him.

"What are you doing here, Joonmyun?" she asked as she sat next to him.

"Nothing" he said as he caressed her grey hair "Just reminiscing about why I love this porch"

The old lady chuckled and softly caressed the gray hair of her husband's head as well before she laid her head on his shoulder. Joonmyun smiled as he laid his head over hers and held her hand with his wrinkled hand. The old couple sat there like that and just looked at the beautiful moon.

"Do you still remember what you told my parents when they asked you why you didn't want them to sell the house?" Chorong asked and he smiled and chuckled.

"Yes" the old man said "I told them I wanted to grow old with you in this house and that I wanted us to sit here in this porch together and watch our grandchildren run around the garden and laugh with us"

Chorong giggled and then smiled.

"My mom thought that was the cutest thing someone could say" she said and Joonmyun chuckled again

"But your dad wanted to kill me because he thought I was proposing to you at such a young age" Joonmyun said and they both chuckled. "But my dream actually came true"

Chorong looked at him and smiled. Who would have thought this couple that met when they were teenagers would really get married and grow old together in that house?

"Yes, you are already old" she said and he laughed

"You too" he said and she laughed as well.

"Grandma, grandpa" they heard a voice and turned around. They smiled when they saw the teenager running towards them. "Mom says dinner is ready"

"Let's go then" Joonmyun said with a smile as the old couple stood up. The young guy looked at his grandparents and smiled as he ran towards the door.

"Don't run, Kim Seokjin" Chorong said to her grandson "Your grandpa here is old and he can't run that fast"

"Yah! You are my age in case you forgot, old woman!" Joonmyun said and Seokjin laughed as he watched them. He always loved visiting them because despite their age, they were cheerful and happy. And the most important thing, in love with each other.

Seokjin put an arm around each of them and smiled.

"You know, I wish to fall in love someday and grow old together with her like you guys did" he said and the old couple smiled

"For that, you have to meet a woman like your grandmother" Joonmyun said "She is one of a kind"

Chorong and Seokjin smiled at this.

"Bossy and sometimes annoying, but special indeed" Joonmyun added jokingly

"Yah! I can still do hapkido moves on you, you know?!" she said as she hit him playfully.

"You are going to break some bones in the process if you do that, Rong" Joonmyun said and chuckled. Chorong frowned and hit him once again as they continued arguing playfully.

Seokjin looked at them and just shook his head as he laughed. His grandparents would never change, but he didn't want them to. He loved how they were and how much they loved and teased each other.

The three Kims walked inside the house and Joonmyun turned around to look outside once again. He smiled. That porch was definitely his favorite place and that hadn't change even after so many years. And it wasn't going to change.
