When the person turned around I realized it was Onew.

Our eyes widened at seeing each other. I broke the eye contact and quickly turned around to unlock the door and get out of there, but Onew stopped me from leaving. He grabbed me in his arms and pulled me away from the door. “Let me go!”, I shouted, “Hyunji …”, he released me from his arms and as soon as I turned around I slapped him. “I’m not a toy which you can play whenever you want and do whatever you want with it!”, I yelled, “Let me explain!”, “Explain what? Explain why you played with my feelings?”, I was angry with him, “No. I like you! But … I had some kind of feelings for Luna an-“, I cut him off, “What?! You’re serious? You have been playing with me this whole time? Let me ask you a thing. Were you planning to date me when you came back?”, he paused and I had already heard enough, “You’re such a player!”

I shook my head and ran out of the room.

As I was leaving the room I bumped into someone. “Oh, Hyunji?”, Kai looked at me, I just couldn’t help but hug him. He felt surprised by the hug but quickly hugged back. “You’re like that because of Onew?”, he asked as he canoodled me, I nodded still hugging him, “I heard the news. Want to talk?”, he released from the hug, “I … just want to forget it. I want to get over it and move on.”, “I told you that this relationship would bring you pain, hurt and sadness. But I know that when we’re in love, we’re blind.”, he shrugged. “You already talked with Krystal?”, I tried to change the subject, “She still doesn’t talk to me. I have to think in something that can make her change her mind.”, he said as we made our way to my practice room, “Oh that’s right. Hum, maybe it’s not the right time but, I’m curious to know if you already asked Taemin what happened?”, he smirked, “Yeah. Oh and you saw it! You wouldn’t tell me!”, a smile started forming in my face. Kai would just know how to make me smile even if it was by teasing me in the saddest moments.

“You know what? There are so many ways to explain why when we’re in love it’s said that we’re blind.”, he randomly spoke, “Hum? What are you talking about?”, I was confused, “Well, technically if we’re blind we can’t see, which means we can’t see if our lover is pretty or ugly, if it’s different or not, and there is another way to explain it; We’re so blind with our crush that we can’t see that there are others that love us more.”, he explained, “What are you trying to say with that?”, I knew he was giving me some kind of hint or signal, but I just didn’t know about what or who. “You’ll find out. Sooner or later, you’ll say to me, ‘Kai you were right.”. Waaaa it sounds so good to heard that.”, I chuckled, “Does your silliness end?”, he looked at me and smiled, “Nope.”, “Good, and don’t ever think of changing because I like you just the way you are. Stay like this forever. Okay?”, I turned a bit pink. He softened, “I will.”.

We reached my practice room and Jihae, Taemin and Sehun were standing in front of the door.

“Oh Hyunji. You’re okay?”, Jihae ran to me, and the boys followed her. “Why did you run away when I spoke to you? Jihae told me what Luna said to you.”, Taemin asked right after Jihae’s question, “Yeah. I’m okay. And I don’t want to talk about it now.”, I answered to both questions. “Well, I wanted to practice. If you don’t mind.”, I opened the door and entered.

They stood outside talking to each other, I could hear them talking about me. I sighed and started to prepare things for the warming up. Kai opened the door and spoke, “Hyunji, I’m going to talk with Krystal do you need anything?”, “No. You can go. Fighting!!”, I cheered on him, right after him Jihae came and announced, “If you need anything call me. I’m going somewhere with Sehun.”, I  looked at her and smiled, “Okay. Have a nice time.”, I waved. And last, instead of staying by the door to say something, Taemin entered in the room. “Going to practice?”, he asked, he already knew I would but, maybe he couldn’t find another thing to talk about, “Yeah. I have been careless about that and I really need to start working much more.”, I said as I went to turn up the music. “Would you mind if I practice with you?”, Taemin rubbed the back of his neck. I forgot about the kiss and shook my head, “Of course I don’t mind.”.

We practiced hard, even with some laugh in it.

Lunch time arrived. We were really tired.

“Oh, I need energy for after lunch.”, I said as I tried to catch up with my breath. “What’s your favorite hamburger?”, he asked. “What?”, I didn’t know why he had asked that, “Your favorite hamburger.”, he repeated, “Hum, McChicken. Why?”, “Nothing. Just curiosity.”, he said.

He looked at his watch and spoke, “Oh, look at the time. I’ll be right back okay? Don’t leave.”, he left the room, I didn’t even have time to say something.

I waited and waited, after some minutes he came back.

He came in the room with his bag, previously he hadn’t brought it. I noticed his bag and asked, “You went to get your bag?”, I sat on the floor, “No.”, he simply answered.

He approached me with his bag and put it on the floor. He sat in front of me and started taking out things from his bag. “I didn’t know which drink you wanted so I brought cola.”, he zipped his bag and put it away.

I realized that there were two small bags from McDonalds and 2 cups with cola also from McDonalds.

“Here’s the McChicken and the cola.”, Taemin put the food closer to me, “Waaa, that’s why you asked me which was my favorite hamburger. Thank you. I’ll pay next time.”, I smiled, he smiled back, “Let’s eat before our teachers catch us eating fat.”, he joked.

We ate those delicious foods and then we didn’t feel like going to practice again. It was time for Taemin to practice with the rest of SHINee members, so he left.

I had enough determination to continue working hard, so I went back to practice.
