Twenty-Six.
Into The Forest.
Tori took a shower and got dressed into the clothes that Kai had found for her but they were far too large and she couldn’t help but fight the urge to hit her head off the wall in the bathroom. She looked better although she stung all over and her joints hurt.
She moved out of the bathroom and down the hall where Lay was already preparing the bandage for her hand.
Chen snorted loudly from the Kitchen as she passed, making her stop to look at him “Looking cute there.”
“I’m a murderer now I will kill you too.” She narrowed her eyes at him.
Tao choked on the drink he was having at the breakfast bar and looked at her “What do you mean murderer?”
“Never mind.” She muttered shuffling towards the sofa where Lay had patted the sofa with his hand, missing the look that Chen and Tao shared.
She didn’t want to tell them what had happened with the wolf-boy because she didn’t know if that sounded completely insane or not. Lay began to wrap her hand and smiled at her “Feel better?”
“A little.” She admitted “Tired though.”
“Well the door is fixed.” Kris said dusting his hands off as he shut the door.
“What did you hurt your hand on?” Lay asked her.
She frowned to herself “Does it matter?”
“What aren’t you telling us?” Lay whispered to her, no one else was there except for Lay.
She looked down at him “Some things are better left unsaid. Please.”
“Okay.” He nodded softly as he set a piece of tape over the end of the bandage, keeping it firmly in place “I’m here if you want to talk. No judging.”
“Thank you Lay.” She took her hand back and sighed.
Xiumin came down the hall after getting re-changed himself “I’m assuming you’re going to argue if I suggest staying in one of the rooms.”
“Probably.” She answered with a slight smile.
Lay gave her a soft smile as he stood up “Well then I’m going to bed because I don’t know about you but it’s almost six in the morning and I am tired. Good night Tori.” He turned around and headed down the hall.
One by one they all bid her goodnight and assured her that everything was okay especially since Kris had secured an extra three bolts on the door. Although Tori wanted to question where the hell he managed to get another door from but a lot of weird things had happened tonight so she decided to leave it.
However now that she was lay back on the sofa like she had been hours before, she couldn’t help but stare at the ceiling. It scared
