The conversation faded in Victoria’s memory. For a few days after, it had been hard for the both of them to share words with each other. Donghae had been visibly hurt. And even then, Victoria couldn’t explain herself. Why had it been difficult to tell Donghae what really happened? Victoria still couldn’t find the answer.
For a million times, she was sure Donghae could have married someone better than her. Yet, when she thought of all he’d done for her, all they’d been through together…she would wonder why she would even think that. Did she not love him too when he came after her? When he was lying in the hospital, did she not purposely keep him company? Yes, she loved him too.
Then why couldn’t she tell him why she’d really gone the whole day with Eunhyuk and what they really did? Why couldn’t she say a damn thing!?
Her hand climbed unconsciously over her abdomen, maybe in hopes of searching for a little bump. The child Donghae had been waiting for had finally come. Would she make the same mistake this time around?
No, no. She couldn’t. It couldn’t happen again. Victoria wanted the baby. She wanted to have the baby for her and Donghae.
Honestly, she had promised herself not to think about In Seol or the baby he’d left her with. But with Nana’s earlier question…she was starting to ponder the forbidden thoughts again. She knew it was bad to worry. It was unhealthy to become occupied with thoughts that made her depressed. It would affect the baby as it grew and she didn’t want a sad baby, but a happy one. She wanted a bright child, one that would smile at all times. A child that would resemble her and Donghae and their love.
“Victoria?”
Her eyes opened alarmed and she found Donghae standing at the door.
“Are you feeling unwell?” he asked worried.
What had she been thinking earlier? She was really a fool. Here she had a husband, the best one in the world, yet she was thinking about so many other things.
“No,” she replied starting to sit up, but Donghae quickly leapt over her to the other side of the bed to lie down as well.
He tossed an arm over her and snuggled against her back.
“Taking a nap without me?” Donghae wondered.
Should she tell him what she was really thinking about? It might create another argument and she really didn’t want to argue with him. It would be such a sad thing to break the smile he was carrying.
“No,” she replied placing a hand over his while enjoying the warmth of his body.
He gently placed his head on her neck.
“I just had a talk with Eunhyuk,” he told. “I feel kind of bad for the guy, so I wanted to say some things to encourage him.”
“He does need to be encouraged after all.”
“He does, doesn’t he?” Donghae agreed. “I’m glad we weren’t like them.”
“It’s only because you’re an overconfident person,” Victoria commented.
“Proud of it.” he giggled against her.
A smile also spread itself across her lips.
“Donghae, we’ll have this baby, right?” she asked after a moment of silence.
“Of course we will.” he sounded sure. “We’ll have a baby boy.”
“Donghae,” his name rolled off her tongue.
“Hmmm?”
Victoria paused to gather some breath, “I’m sorry.”
“What?”
“I really love you.”
“Who else would you love?” he teased. “I know. I love you too.”
The smile from earlier had already dissolved from her face. She couldn’t set her heart at ease yet. It wasn’t because they weren’t back in the safe of their home. It was because In Seol still clouded her mind. And the day she had spent with Eunhyuk…
When would she be able to tell Donghae about it?
She was scared. Donghae had been angry about the incident for a long time, and he was still angry. He’d be even more upset if she brought it up. Even if he wanted to know what really happened, would he be able to accept it when she told him?
Victoria worried even more.

It had been a light day at work and Yuri had been able to avoid coming in contact with anyone working on the homicide case. Steering her wheel straight as she drove into her driveway, she put the car in park and slowly stepped out from the comfort of her small car. Slinging her bag over her shoulder she started toward the front door when running footsteps and a shout made her turn.
“Excuse me, miss.”
When she spun around she spotted a young man bent over with hands on knees catching his breath. She quickly recognized him as the soju tent owner’s son.
“Yes?” she asked shifting her whole body so she could face him.
Panting some more, he straightened up and Yuri was surprised to see how tall he was compared to herself. His boyish hair didn’t help her in assuming his age.
“Is your house under construction or something? Or maybe perhaps you’re having your house checked out for damage?” he wondered.
Yuri’s brain twisted, “Eh?”
“I mean…” his face flushed from frustration or maybe embarrassment from assuming. “There’s been a lady going around your house lately. My mother stops by to check up on her tent sometimes and she’s been seeing someone go around your house early in the mornings and late at night, so…she was just curious.”
Yuri stared at him blankly. Someone going around her house? Maybe it was the neighbor?
“The house isn’t under construction,” Yuri clarified, “but thanks. I’ll be on the lookout to see if there’s anything strange.”
“Then…I’ll be off now. Sorry to bother you,” he bowed before running off toward his mother.
Yuri watched him go before glancing around the quiet street.

Changmin awoke from his small nap thirsty. It was quiet and he wondered if the others were also sleeping as well. With a short yawn he got up and headed down the stairs to hear someone moving in the kitchen. Stepping in he found Yuri pouring herself a cup of water.
“Oh? You’re home already?” Changmin questioned.
Yuri spun around surprised.
“Are you all resting? I was wondering why no one was down here,” Yuri said. “You want some water?”
“Sure,” Changmin answered.
Yuri grabbed another cup, poured some water, and pushed it over to him. Changmin grabbed the cup and drank out of it while watching Yuri carefully. For some reason, she seemed to act so cool now. Had she done something he didn’t know about?
“Ah…for the play…I was wondering if you might have something Nana could borrow,” Changmin shyly suggested, “it’s kind of a formal event so…”
“Ok, I’ll take care of it,” Yuri easily replied then reached into her bag and pulled out two large tickets. “Here.”
Changmin glanced at the tickets in Yuri’s hand and accepted them.
“Thanks.”
Yuri grabbed her cup and drained the rest of her water. Changmin took his cup and turned around to walk away. He didn’t know what to say to Yuri. How to talk to her, he felt nervous and unsure now.
“Changmin,” Yuri’s voice made him stop, but he didn’t turn around.
Yuri didn’t continue right after. He wondered if she just wanted to say his name.
“I know, Changmin…I know,” Yuri gently said. “You can stop now.”
Stop? What was Yuri talking about? He recalled her yelling at him yesterday. Did it have something to do with his being nice to Nana?
“Changmin,” Yuri said again, “if I started all this trouble, I’m sorry, but we’ve known each other for a long time so I really wish you could be honest with me. Changmin, I like…”
“I know,” Changmin cut her off afraid to hear what would come next.
He slightly turned his head to look at her.
“I…I’m going to go back upstairs,” while gripping tightly onto the tickets he rushed toward the stairs.
***Yuri could've confessed! Changmin would've heard it! But NO! He had to cut her off -___________________-
***Finally moving back to HaeToria again, which means the end is drawing near since it started off with them, and it's going to end with them.
***My friend took us around her city and we went to the Memorial Park in their city. We went to the top of the really high hill and boy did it offer us a really nice view of the lake and the other areas of the park. Even though it was practically dark, it was really windy and reminded me of those animes or kdramas where the person stands at the top, arms spread out with the wind blowing at you. Ah...how peaceful, right? heheh~ Anyway, during those peaceful moments, I was able to think a lot and I also thought a lot about YSRMII. I don't regret spending a lot of time on the EunNa & ChangYul couples. Not at all. This story was meant for them too, not just HaeToria even though it's a sequel. But a sequel doesn't particularily have to stick to the same format as its first part, does it? Nope, cause there's no rule! So now I'm glad I wrote a lot about the side couples. And now I know how I'm going to end this story and how to get there. Stay with me until then!
***I should make a photoalbum of all my covers! LOL!
***Today, my two friends and I went to the airport to see off a Korean friend, but when we got there we found out that he'd already checked in and gone through the gate. Cause once you go through the gate, you can't come back to the other side. So, my friend texted him and we found out he already went :( Honestly, I felt kind of sad we didn't make it cause we made fun notes and a card for him xD I don't know why we stood around, but while we did it really felt like a melodramatic kdrama moment hehehe~ Cause we weren't able to say goodbye xDDD But he came back and one of the security had to stop him but they only let him walk up to the black belt separating the people going toward the plane area. So we talked while the securities stared at us LOL! Boy, was it embarrassing. Then one of the securities told him he couldn't stay anymore and led him away. :( But I'm really glad he even came back to see us :) Oh well, he'll be back in September for the rest of the school year :DD But we weren't allowed to give him the card, so now my friend has to send it to him lol!! But I'm glad he told us when he was leaving and what time. The other korean guys didn't :/ So we couldn't say bye to them :/ Oh well :D
