Chapter 7
Fifteen AngelsBack at the dorm, Sofia rushed back to her room. She was fangirling and freaking out at the same time. Freaking out because a guy was coking for her and fangirling because it was her bias cooking that dinner. She started pacing and spouting out nonsense. Sofia knew she was starting to have an anxiety attack. It always happened when she became extremely anxious and there were a lot of contributing factors: new home, new people, new enviroment. Sofia's door opened a little while after she started hyperventilating.
"Hey dinner's r-OH MY GOD! SOFIA!" Sungmin exclaimed, running and catching Sofia before her knees hit the floor.
Sofia clutched onto Sungmin's shirt like there was no tomorrow. She was trying to tell Sungmin that she was fine between gasps, but Sungmin wouldn't hear it.
"Sungmin-ssi...I'm...fine." gasped out Sofia.
"Its oppa and no you're not." Sungmin said firmly. gripping Sofia tighter.
"Don't...tell...any...one..." Sofia pleaded.
"Ok, but right now focus on me. Focus on my voice. Breathe in, Breathe out. Just like that. Good." Sungmin said to her, hoping that this method was helping her out.
Sofia did as she was told. With Sungmin guiding her, it was only a few minutes later that she was completely back to normal. Sungmin really thought that Sofia should tell the other members about her anxiety, but she firmly stood by her decision of no. She even made Sungmin promise not to tell the other members. She really wanted it to be kept a secret. They headed to the kitchen after Sungmin gave his word. Everyone was already seated and served.
"About time you two! I'm starving!" Shindong said upon their arrival.
"Mianhe. We were talikng." Sofia lied smoothly. She shot Sungmin a look that said go along with it or you'll regret it. Thankfully, Kangin spoke up before Sungmin had a chance to say anything.
"Let's eat before the food gets cold" Kangin said.
"Sofia, sit by me!" Ryeowook said, motioning towards an empty next to him.
Sofia nodded and made her way over. She was a bit nervous, but the more comfortable she became, the nervousness went away. All through the dinner, she kept telling Ryeowook how good his cooking was. Ryeowook was admittably a bit flattered and there was a tint of pink on his cheeks. When Ryeowook fed Sofia a bit of kimchi, the members cooed and teased them. They both blushed a deep crimson and laughed awkwardly/ For Sofia, she wouldn't have it any other way because she felt a twinge of happiness, even if it was only for a brief moment.
