Chapter 24
Fifteen AngelsBy this time, a few weeks had passed since Sofia had met Ryeowook's parents. Zane hadn't threatened them nor had he made a move since he sent that taunting letter. Everything was back to normal...or so they thought.
"Great news everyone! We got a vaction to Jeju!" announced Leeteuk one sunny afternoon. Everyone cheered after hearing that.
"When is it?" asked Donghae.
"In two weeks, so that gives us some time yet. Sofia, I'm going to assume that you don't have any swim wear. Am I right?" asked Leeteuk, turning to her.
"Yeah, you are. No, you guys aren't coming with me to pick one out." Sofia answered the unasked question.
"Not even me?" asked Ryeowook, using aegyo.
"Nope. I want it to be a surprise." said Sofia, a mischievious look in her eyes.
After she said that, she caught a ride with Heechul and Zhoumi to the mall. Leeteuk didn't want her to go alone, but Heechul and Zhoumi gave their word to Sofia that they wouldn't interfere with her shopping. Sofia soon found a store that just sold just swimwear things. She found a beach towel right away, but it took awhile to find a swimsuit.
"Why must this be so hard?" she whispered to herself.
"Need help?" said a voice behind her.She jumped and turned to see who it was. She was relieved to see that it was Zhoumi.
"Oh Zhoumi! Thank God! There are so many choices! I can't decide!" said Sofia, a bit frustrated.
"Bikini or one piece?" Zhoumi asked.
"Bikini." Sofia answered confidently.
"All of the bikinis are over there. Just a piece of advice: try not to kill Ryeowook with whatever one you choose." said Zhoumi with a wink.
"No guarantees!" Sofia said and she headed to the bikini section.
She picked out a total of three bikins to try on. She went into a dressing room and they all looked amazing on her. Sofia couldn't afford all three. After much agonizing and retrying them on, she finally came to her decision. Sofia put the two rejected bikinis back and paid for the towel and the winning bikini. Sofia checked her watch and found that she still had some time left before she had to meet Heechul and Zhoumi to leave. She decided to walk around on her own. Before she could even take one step, a strong arm grabbed her elbow.
"Going somewhere my sweet?" a voice hissed in her ear. Sofia's eyes widened.
"What are you doing here Zane? Let go of me!" Sofia said as she struggled to get out of his grip.
"To get you back and you're coming with me." Zane said, his voice becoming possesive.
"No! Help! He's hurting me!" Sofia screamed as Zane tried to pull her towards the exit.
Heechul and Zhoumi were walking past at that moment and heard Sofia's scream. They found her easily and saw that some guy was trying to kidnap her. They sprinted towards her.
"Let her go. Now." said Heechul, his voice low and dangerous.
"And if I don't?" challenged the mystery man.
"Have it your way." said Heechul before kicking the man in the gut. The guy let go of Sofia and doubled over in pain. Zhoumi took Sofia's hand and all three of them sprinted towards the car. Sofia was crying and shaking, purely frightened.
"Sofia, who was that?" asked Zhoumi, dabbing at her tears with a tissue.
"T-that w-was Z-Zane. H-he's h-here f-for m-me." sobbed Sofia.
Author's note: Chapter 23 is done! So I'm really mad. Why? SM ENTERTAINMENT DELAYED THE MV RELEASE FOR HENRY'S SONG TRAP! I STAYED UP ALMOST THE ENTIRE NIGHT WAITING FOR IT! GRRRR!
