Sofia heard snippets of Heewok's conversation.  She expected all of the things Heechul mentioned and knew what she was getting into when she said that she wanted to go public.  Sofia knew the negative attention wasn't her fault, but a small voice she hadn't heard since middle school was making it out like it was.

You know those fans were right.  You're nothing.  Its only a matter of time before he leaves you.  You're pathetic, ugly and fat.  It would be better if you just disappeared off the face of the Earth.

Sofia willed the voice to stop, but it kept repeating the same sentences over and over again.  She darted to the privacy of her bedroom and shut the door.  She slid her hand underneath the mattress and found what she was looking for.  She pulled out a razorblade.  She climbed up on her bed and rolled up her sleeves.

"I'm sorry for what I'm about to do." she whispered.

She gripped the razorblade and slowly dragged it across her bared skin, creating ribbons of crimson.  Sofia made sure the cuts weren't too deep because she didn't want to go to the hospital and have the Super Junior members find out.  When she thought there were enough, she cleaned off the blade and rehid it under the mattress.  The cuts stopped bleeding and she rolled down her sleeves.  Just as she finished, Ryeowook stepped into the room and sat down next to her.

"Heechul hyung told me what happened.  I feel like I haven't prepared you for what might happen after publicizing our relationship." Ryeowook said guiltily.

"Oppa, its okay.  I knew what I was getting into when I made the decision." Sofia said with a fake smile that passed off as genuine.

"Just remember that whatever happens, I'll always love you." Ryeowook said and kissed her passionately.

Sofia's hand entangled itself in Ryeowook's hair, deepening the kiss.  His hands encircled her waist to bring her closer to him.  Sofia and Ryeowook engaged in a fierce tongue battle and Sofia moved herself into Ryeowook's lap, straddling him.  His hands roamed her back while she cupped his face.  Due to a lack of oxygen, Sofia broke the kiss and a string of saliva remained between them.

"I love you too.  I don't care what the fans say, its our relationship and I am who I am.  Their approval isn't needed." Sofia said and Ryeowook smiled.

Sofia climbed off Ryeowook's lap and he left.  Sofia was glad that he did because she was afraid he would see through her fake happiness.  The depression that she had started to beat had now returned with a vengence and she was definitely terrified since the same thoughts from middle school were flooding her head.

Author's note: Surprise! I updated!  Chapter 59 is done! I had time today since my boyfriend changed our date from going out to dinner to going to a softball game he's playing in and the game starts at 8:10/  I'm sorry its short, but its necessary to the plot.  Next update will be tomorrow!  COMMENT AND SUBSCRIBE! :)
