“How did I meet you?” Yu-ki asked Jongdae suddenly. She had been doing that a lot recently; speaking out of the blue. Her old self was never like this. The Yu-ki she remembered being wasn’t blunt like this.

“What do you mean how did we meet?” Jongdae asked.

“I don’t know.” She shrugged. “I was just wondering how I made friends in a country where I didn’t know anyone.”

“Well,” he began. “You have Jongin to thank for that. On your first day here you somehow wandered into the dance rooms instead of the photography rooms and somehow you two hit it off. The next day you met the rest of us.”

“Mmm.” Yu-ki nodded to herself. “And were we always friends? Did we hit it off right away?”

“I guess.” Jongdae answered unsure. “I mean we warmed up to you pretty quick if that’s what you’re asking. What’s with the sudden history lesson?”

“I was talking to Baekhyun last week and Jongin mentioned that we weren’t always close.” She turned to look at Jongdae. “It just made me think about some stuff.”

“Ahh, well you shouldn’t worry about Baekhyun that much.” He affectionately pat her head. “He has his reasons. I don’t know if the two of you were close enough to have actually talked about it, but I think this time he’ll get around to it. Just don’t push him.”
