It was back to school for Yu-ki. You would think that after a week of it she would be used to the prospect. She wasn’t. At least now she had the added benefit of her laptop.

A few days ago, she had noticed the device lying on her desk. It made sense for her to have a computer being a multi-media minor after all. It was time like these that she was grateful for her own habits. Her password was the same one she had always used for all her various accounts and log-ins. The discovery of her computer definitely made putting her life back together much easier.

Starting with her documents she located the one named ‘School Work’ and within it all the various projects and papers that she had work on in the past year and a half. Leisurely looking through the most recent ones, she had found that at the time of her accident she was working on her final project for her black and white photography class. That explained the pictures of Kris, Jongdae and Yixing that were lying on her table.

She would go through her photos, but decided against it. She was a photography major. It was a given that her photos would take up a good portion of her hard drive. Instead she pulled out her note book and finished her profiles. Flipping to where she left off, she saw Jongdae’s picture that she had chosen the previous day. It looked like it was taken at school in the middle of a crowd, but he was still able to spot her camera as he made a playful face.

Kim Jongdae (20)

Park Chanyeol (20)

• November 27, 1992
• Third year Nano Technology major
• Tall, not as tall as Kris, but tall
• Often models for BaekHyun
• Not sure if he’s really smart or really dumb

Do Kyungsoo (20)

• January 12^th, 1993
• Third year Vocal major
• Has really big eyes
• Really nice and kind

On the next pages were Baekhyun and Yixing. The two she were most intrigued by.

Byun Baekhyun (20)

• May 6, 1992
• Apparel Design major, Cosmetology minor
• Goes to College
• Often uses JongIn and ChanYeol as models
• Works in tandem with me
  • He designs, I take pictures
• We’re not very close?

Zhang Yixing (21)

• October 10, 1991
• Fourth year Dance major, Vocal minor
• Is Chinese!!
• Plays piano

On the one hand Baekhyun was a more permanent figure in her life, whereas Yixing floated in and out of their group. But Yu-Ki and Baekhyun had a more acquaintance co-worker relationship rather than a relationship of being close friends. And with Yixing she felt more at home and they gave off a feeling of having known each other for year.

“Hey,” Yu-Ki jumped in surprise, “what are you writing?” Jongin asked sitting beside her. Yu-Ki shut her notebook and smiled. Jongin raised an eyebrow but didn’t question it any further. “Okay, well let’s go.” He stood grabbing her hand. Yu-Ki pulled him back down beside her. “What?” he asked.

Yu-Ki took a deep breath. “생일축하해” she recited. (Happy Birthday)

Jongi beamed. “Thank you!” he said as he embraced her. It was nice hearing her voice again.
