“Can you all be quiet, you’re stressing me out.” Baekhyun spoke suddenly.

“Baek, no one was speaking.” Chanyeol told him calmly.

“You’re all breathing too loud.”

“You’re insane.” Jongdae said lifelessly before returning to his own work.

Everyone had gathered at Baekhyun’s studio despite it being the middle of exams and tensions were running high. Baekhyun had his final exhibition tomorrow and kept checking his already perfect pieces, Jongdae had four exams in the span of five days and every five minutes he would look over his notes, Kyungsoo had finished his oral exam but still needed to take his technical exam on Monday and Chanyeol was the only non stressed one as his exams weren’t till next week. Jongin, though already finished with his exams, was stressed over the news that hadn’t died down and Yu-ki was experiencing sympathy stress.

“Okay, now it’s too quiet, can we talk about something?”

“I have my last exam on the 26^th,” Chanyeol spoke up before someone could snap at Baekhyun, “I was thinking we should get together to celebrate.”

“Why Chanyeol? The annual SNU Year End Party sponsored by Park Place not enough for you?” Jongdae joked.

“That sounds good, if I'm not doing anything, I'm in.” Yu-ki spoke up sensing the tense atmosphere.

“Why would you be busy? What have you even been doing these past few days?” Kyungsoo asked genuinely curious.

“Literally nothing.”

“I heard you saw Sehun.” Jongin spoke voice quiet. Everyone turned to look at him as he hadn’t said much since arriving at Baekhyun’s.

“Yeah, I ran into him, when I went out on Tuesday.” She chose to leave out the part about the reporter knowing that would just put unnecessary stress on him.

“I don’t like him.” Baekhyun cut in.

“You haven’t spoken to me in a week, you don’t get a say.”

“Neither has Chanyeol.” Baekhyun countered.

Glancing at the other boy, Yu-ki continued, “You’re not a SNU student, you don’t a say.”

I apologize for my earlier behaviour, I’m happy for you. Baek is too, even if he doesn’t show it.

[A/N]: A lackluster chapter, but I got what I needed to say out. I realized this a a fairly dark chapter (as in tension filled or heavy atmosphere-ed) compared to my other chapters, but I say it is a result of school induced stress (them not me). As I said, next chapter will be Baekhyun's final show/exhibit. 

P.S. A week ago Yu-ki told them she was going to double major (hence the 'you didn't speak to me for a week' line, Baekhyun really didn't speak to her for a week). Also, not sure if I ever mentioned it, but Baekyeol are not a thing. I realize that they totally could be misconstrued as such, but they are only just the best of bros. (I really need a Baekyeol side story huh?)
