“Why are you coming with us?” Yu-ki was taken aback. Baekhyun had actually spoken to her of his own free will. Usually she had to be the one to initiate conversation. Granted his delivery was still a bit rude, but it was something.

Yu-ki stuttered for a moment before answering. “What do you mean? You guys invited me.”

“Yes, but why, you barely know us. You trust us enough to spend a whole week overseas with us?” Baekhyun clarified. Yu-ki shrugged.

"Well, my brother trust you guys. So you guys can’t be like bad people since he isn’t an easy person to please.” Yu-ki explained. “Plus, we’re going to Hong Kong, that’s like my third home. If you guys decide to abandon me or something, I can still survive. You guys on the other hand, an hour alone and you’d be done for.” Baekhyun seemed to accept her response with a nod.

“What’s with the sudden question though?” She asked him back.

“I was just curious.” Baekhyun said. “We’ve gone overseas together before, but whenever we suggested Hong Kong, you always avoided it like the plague.” He looked her right in the eye. “What skeletons do you have hiding there?”

“I wish I knew.” This was new information to her. Hong Kong had always been her home away from home (away from home). “I guess now’s the time to find out.”
