Rule # 4 BROKEN

Everything Happens For A Reason

RECAP:

But suddenly, the elevator started to shake.

--

Your POV

I stumbled a bit but quickly held onto the bars around the elevator. "You've got to be kidding me," I whispered to myself as I looked around the elevator.

I looked over at Jaejoong and he was staring at me. I looked away. Why did I have to take this elevator with him?

The lights started to flicker and then...it went out with a soft buzz and everything went dark. I didn't really mind the dark, but it was literally pitch black and I felt kind of nervous.

"Oh my god," I muttered to myself. Jaejoong must have heard me. "Are you okay?" He softly questioned, but I couldn't even see him. "Yeah," I mumbled.

"HELLO?! IS THERE ANYONE IN THE ELEVATOR?!" We heard a soft voice shout. I heard Jaejoong walk up to the speaker. "Yes! There are two of us in here! What's wrong with the elevator?" Jaejoong asked.

"THE ELEVATOR WON'T OPERATE RIGHT NOW SO WE WILL BE CALLING A TECHNICAN! WE'RE VERY SORRY!" The voice said. I heard Jaejoong sigh.

"W-What do we do now?" I asked. "I guess we'll have to wait," He asked. Great. This was going to be even more awkward! Why did the elevator have to break down right after we stepped in?!

I quietly sat down and drew my legs to my chest. What do we do now?

END OF POV

Kim Jaejoong's POV

I leaned against the elevator when it shook. What the heck was going on?

"You've got to be kidding me," I heard ~~~~ mumble to herself. I stared at her until she blinked up at me, but she quickly looked away after a while. It was like faith made us ride the same elevator...

The lights flickered a bit and then everything went dark.

"Oh my god," I head ~~~~ mutter. "Are you okay?" I softly questioned. I couldn't see her at all. "Yeah," She mumbled.

"HELLO?! IS THERE ANYONE IN THE ELEVATOR?!" We heard a soft voice shout. I slowly walked up to the speaker. "Yes! There are two of us in here! What's wrong with the elevator?" I asked.

"THE ELEVATOR WON'T OPERATE RIGHT NOW SO WE WILL BE CALLING A TECHNICAN! WE'RE VERY SORRY!" The voice said. I sighed. Damnit. We're going to have to be stuck in here for a while.

"W-What do we do now?" She asked. "I guess we'll have to wait," I said.

I sat on the floor and set my chin onto my knees which were up. What...now?

After at least five minutes of silence, ~~~~ finally spoke up. "Since I'm leaving..." She whispered. I sat up, forgetting that she was. "That contract that I signed has no effect anymore...right?" She softly asked.

I swallowed hard at the thought of the contract. Everything happened because of that stupid contract...

 5.    If one breaks at least one of the rules above, he or she will suffer the consequences appointed by the opposite party.

I was an idiot to make this up. What were we on? A variety show?

1.       Be on time for all performance, events, shows, etc.

I remembered how she was late that day and I made her sort out all those papers until very late. But, it made me realize how much of a nice singing voice she had.

2.       Respect one another with the same amount you show to your family and/or relatives.

The second rule made me feel the worst. Yemi was faking everything from the point when she covered one of our backup dancers when she was hurt. She lied saying ~~~~ was the one who hurt her when it was the opposite way around. I couldn't believe I believed Yemi and made ~~~~ clean SHINee's and Super Junior's dorms. I regretted that punishment the most.

3.       Not responsible for any health concerns that are caused by work.

My heart squeezed in pain when I remembered Jonghyun hugging ~~~~ in her bed when I reached her house, on that rainy day. I still didn't know the reason behind it, but every time that image came into mind, I wanted to hit Jonghyun...

4.       All relationships are only to be related to work; therefore relationships CANNOT go further than working partners.

This rule...

Even though the place was dark and I couldn't see anything, I glanced over at ~~~~. "I think..." I started and took a deep breath. "I broke rule number 4," I revealed.

Chapter 46: To be honest, it kinda pisses me off with all the changing P.o.V's but other than that, it's a really interesting storyline.

Chapter 53: wow.. what an idiot. I would have totally chosen the caring understanding and devoted Jonghyun over a guy who has the EQ and IQ of a doormat. I mean seriously... Jaejoong observes in his point of view that the main character (-----) is scared in presence of Yemi, then 3 paragraphs later accuses ----- of being violent? that doesn’t make sense. He treats her like ____ and stuff. wow she probably is mazochist. If they get married she’s probably going to end up as a battered wife.
I understand you like Jaejoong and wanted to make this a JJ-OFC fic, but don’t loose focus. He was too much of an _______ to make the decisions made by the OFC in relations to whom to date credible. She’s not a mad Cassie after all - it doesn’t make any sense.
