After what seemed like forever, Dara finally joined Jiyong downstairs. They both couldn't look at each other and Jiyong cleared his throat. He was about to tell her that he was about to leave but Jihoon had other plans. The moment he saw his father, he reached for him and started crying. Dara was looking at her son weirdly as he was behaving weirdly. He was never attached to anyone like that. 

She sighed as she handed him Jihoon and Jiyong was more than happy. He took the little boy and they resumed playing as before ignoring Dara completely. She stood there watching them for more than half an hour before she had enough. She got annoyed. Jihoon never ignored her like he did that day, he used to ask only for her but then Jiyong showed up and he totally forgot about her.

She sat on the couch facing them and kept pouting yet glaring at Jiyong. As if he felt her sending him death glares, Jiyong looked up and frowned. 

'' Are you okay? '' He asked genuinely worried and Dara looked up and straightened herself. 

'' Hmm... I think you'll be staying for dinner, right? '' She asked and Jiyong looked down at Jihoon that was sitting between his legs and then up at her. 

'' If you don't mind '' He said timidly and rubbed the back of his head. 

Dara wanted and so badly to say that she did mind but then she looked at how happy her son was and she sighed '' I guess there's nothing we can do '' She told him '' You can stay until he falls asleep '' She added and he nodded. 

Just then his phone rang, at first, he ignored it but whoever was calling was persistent. However, the instant he realized who was calling him, his expression hardened and without thinking twice, he hung up and turned off his phone. He didn't want to ruin his mood by talking to Joo Yeon. Dara was watching him carefully but she didn't say anything. 

Who called him?

Why do you care? Just mind your own business.

She thought to herself then she decided it was better for her to go and start making dinner. It was better than watching Jihoon and Jiyong play and act as if she wasn't there.

'' I'll be in the kitchen '' She informed but both father and son kept playing and Jiyong was doing some funny expressions making the little boy giggle in joy.

Jiyong was drawing with Jihoon when he suddenly started smelling something weird. He tried to ignore it first but then he couldn't. He looked around trying to identify where it came from then it hit him and he looked at Jihoon. He held him up and smelled his diapers and immediately looked away. He then put him down and they looked at each other. 

Jihoon stared at Jiyong and blinked innocently then smiled widely showing him his very few teeth. 

'' You're a little sneaky, aren't you? '' He asked then pinched his noise '' Let's go, big boy '' He announced then he took the little boy in his hand and stood.

He walked to the kitchen and found Dara already cooking. '' Dara... '' He called and she hummed as she turned to look at him '' Umm... Where are the diapers? '' He asked as he nodded his head towards Jihoon.

'' Oh! '' She replied as she stopped what she was doing '' Give him to me, I'll do it '' She suggested but Jiyong his head as he stopped her from coming.

'' Just tell me and I'll take care of it '' He insisted.

'' Are you sure? Do you know how to do it? '' She asked and he nodded although he didn't know '' Okay... It's in the bathroom in my room '' She revealed and he nodded then head to the room with Jihoon in his arms. 

After finding the diapers, Jiyong was lost at what to do. He stood for a couple of minutes in the middle of the room not knowing what to do. He just stared at Jihoon as if he was waiting for him to magically tell him what to do. Just then, the door was opened and Dara walked in. She instantly smiled at she found him standing there looking all lost and clueless. 

Ha! Get that! One point for me!

'' I knew that you would need help '' She said matter of factly as she walked and took Jihoon from him '' Bring me a towel from the bathroom '' She ordered as she walked to the bed and waited for Jiyong to follow what she said. A few seconds later, he was back with the towel in his hand.

'' Here '' He handed it to her but she told him to spread it on the bed. After he did it, she gently put Jihoon on top of it and started taking off his shoes and pants along with the dirty diaper that made both of them close their eyes from the smell.

'' What did you exactly? '' Dara muttered as she took off the diaper and Jiyong couldn't hold in his laughter but soon she glared at him. '' Make sure he doesn't roll off of the bed '' She suddenly told him and went to the bathroom leaving Jiyong to take care of a half- baby that tried his best to leave. 

Fortunately, Dara was back before Jihoon could do anything and Jiyong was watching everything she did. As she cleaned the little boy and made sure he was all good, she started making funny faces and voices to distract him and Jihoon was squealing in delight. The entire time, Jiyong was watching them with a wide smile. He forgot the last time he had been that happy and at ease. 

'' And we're done '' Dara announced as she clapped her hands and jokingly kissed the little boy's feet. 

'' I'll make sure to do it on my own next time '' Jiyong suddenly said all confident and everything making Dara look at him. She was not expecting him to say such a thing. He was so sure that he'll do it again to the point it created something weird inside of her. 

She watched him silently as he kept tickling Jihoon then she let out a sigh. Everything looked and felt so right. As if it was all meant to be like that but she felt suddenly heavy as she realized it wasn't easy to keep it. To keep the smile and the joy they had... It was not possible since he was still tied to Joo Yeon and her family. 

'' Dara! '' Jiyong shouted again and he successfully caught her attention.

'' Huh? ''

'' Are you okay? You were spacing out? '' He asked and she cleared .
