When Dara came back to the living room, Jiyong wasn't there. She immediately frowned and looked around but he wasn't there. At first, she thought that he left but then she heard some weird voices. When she focused, it was the voice of someone vomiting. She instantly hurried to the bathroom and found him there.

'' Go out... I'll be out in a minute '' He said weakly but Dara only got closer.

'' What's wrong? '' She asked really worried. Despite everything, she was really worried about him and for the first time, she noticed that he was not the same as before. He was skinnier and paler. 

'' I'm fine... I'll be out in a minute '' He repeated then he started vomiting again. 

She got closer to him and after much hesitation, she put her hand on his back and it sent shiver down both their spines. After a few minutes, he was finally done and Dara stepped away from him as he washed his face and cleaned his mouth. She was watching him with a frown as she was sure there was something wrong with him. 

After that, they moved back to the living room and Jiyong sat back on the couch and held his stomach. He looked so tired and Dara just stood there watching him with a frown. He had dark circles under his eyes and his mouth was dry. At first, she wanted to kick him out of the house but then he looked too sick that she felt bad telling him to leave in that condition.

After a few minutes of watching him, she finally walked and stood next to him. He was too tired to even say anything and was still feeling nauseous. He shivered when she put her hand on top of his forehead and he was burning. Her eyes widened and then she frowned in concern. 

'' What's happening to you? Why are you like this? '' She asked as she kept checking his temperature.

'' I'm fine '' He answered.

'' For once be honest with me '' She said groaning then she reached and tried to wake him up.

'' What? Are you going to kick me out? '' He asked then suddenly whimpered when she touched her abdomen. 

'' Just shut up and be easy on me '' She replied as she avoided touching his front '' You need to lay on a bed '' She told him and he finally stood and she took his hand and put it around her neck and helped him walk up the stairs.

'' Why are we going up? '' He asked.

'' I can't take care of you and Jihoon at two different places '' She replied and she froze when she felt his breath near her ear but she tried her best to ignore it.

However, Jiyong was on cloud nine. Although he was feeling pain, his heart was flattering in joy because he was so close to her. The warmth of her body and the way she felt next to him made him forget everything. Then he smelled her hair and smiled.

'' You still smell the same... So sweet '' He whispered and Dara felt her heart skip a beat. No, Dara! Dara! Don't let him fool you again! A voice inside of her yelled and she cleared . Finally, they reached the room and she helped him sit on the bed then she stood watching him as he whimpered then she took her phone and walked out of the room. She unlocked the phone and dialed a number. 

'' Hello, Minzy? '' She asked immediately.

'' Yes? '' Minzy replied confused as she didn't know Dara's new phone number.

'' It's me, Dara... " She revealed.

'' Oh! Unnie! How are you? Is everything okay? '' She wondered and Dara felt a little guilty for calling her that late.

'' I'm really sorry that I called you this late... But I need your help '' She apologized and Minzy was quick to accept '' There was a patient in the E.R tonight his name is Kwon Jiyong can you ask the doctor for me about what is wrong with him? '' She asked.

'' Of course, just give me a few minutes and I'll call you back '' She requested and Dara instantly thanked her and hang up. 

She walked back to the room and checked on Jihoon. His temperature decreased yet he still looked ill. Dara was speechless at how he and Jiyong were both sick at the same time. It must be a work of fate. When she made sure he was asleep and getting better she walked back to Jiyong and checked on him. He was starting to doze off but his temperature was getting higher and it scared her. Just then, her phone starting ringing so she got out and answered. 

'' Yes, Minzy " 

" Dara... It looks like he's not fine '' She started and Dara felt cold in her legs '' It looks like he may be in danger of having alcoholic hepatitis '' She revealed and Dara felt her heart stop.

'' What... '' She muttered weakly '' But... He's still young to have it '' She reasoned.

'' I know but you know that everything is possible. According to the doctor, he had been drinking heavily every day for a couple of years and that's the cause. It will only get worse if he doesn't stop and start getting the right treatment '' She revealed and Dara closed her eyes as she felt loss at words. Everything made sense after she knew. His weight loss, nausea, vomiting, fever, fatigue, and tenderness. They all made sense and Dara's heart clenched. 

'' Okay, Minzy. Thank you so much and sorry for bothering you '' She thanked and after bidding goodbye she hung up and let out a sigh.
