Dara was on the verge of crying when Chaerin came to her side. 

‘’ Dee, are you okay? ‘’ Chaerin asked concerned, her friend’s face was so pale and her eyes were filled with tears that were threatening to fall. 

‘’ Y-yeah ‘’ Dara answered with a forced smile. 

‘’ But- ‘’ Chaerin started but stopped when Jiyong joined them. He too was able to see the weird look on Dara’s face. 

‘’ Babe, are you okay? ‘’ He asked and Dara just nodded.

Time passed, Youngbae had his speech and then he and his wife cut the cake. After that, people were starting to leave. Everyone was happy except for Dara who couldn’t shake away the bad thoughts that invaded her mind. 

It was known that Sandara’s alcohol tolerance was nowhere near good and after just two cups she’d get drunk and that’s what happened that night. She wasn’t aware that she drunk more than she is used to. 

Thankfully, her tipsiness only appeared when they were out of the house. 

‘’ I shouldn’t have let you drink ‘’ Jiyong sais as he helped her get in the car. 

‘’ It was delicious ‘’ Dara defended with a pout. Jiyong closed her door and went to take his driver seat. 

On the road, Dara was silent as she watched the city outside the window. She was still thinking about Joo Yeon. 

‘’ Did you…’’ She started but she stopped. 

‘’ What did you say? ‘’ Jiyong asked as he didn’t hear her.

She just let out a sigh ‘’ Nothing ‘’ 

Jiyong knew that something was off with her but he didn’t want to push it. He’ll give her some time, and if she still kept sulking and not telling him then he’ll force to speak. 

Dara was drunk and already sleepy. The time was near midnight and Jiyong didn’t want to take her home in that state so he took her to his house. She was barely awake when he helped her out of the car. 

She clung on him so tightly and Jiyong loved every bit of it. But she was drunk and Jiyong didn’t want to take advantage of her while she’s not fully aware of what she’s doing even though he was dying with how much he needed and wanted her. 

He laid her gently on his bed and started taking off her shoes when she spoke.

‘’ You know I like you, Ji, I really really do ‘’ She muttered and Jiyong smiled and sat on the bed and caressed her cheek. 

‘’ I know babe and I like you too ‘’ or maybe I love you… 

‘’ I am not good enough for you but I’ll try to be… I promise ‘’ She added and that made Jiyong frown.

What is she talking about? Why does she feel like she’s not good enough for me? Is that the reason behind her sudden mood change? 

Jiyong asked himself but once he was about to ask Dara, he found her already asleep. She looked so peaceful sleeping like a baby but the pout that was clear on her lips didn’t escape him and he frowned more. 

‘’ You’re more than enough for me… I don’t know how you did it but I never want you out of my life again ‘’ He whispered.

After a few minutes of watching her sleeping, he finally moved and changed his clothes then he joined her in the bed.

The sun was shining so brightly that it disturbed Dara from her sleeping. She slowly opened her eyes then let out a yawn. When she gained consciousness, her eyes widened as she realized she was not in her room.

She instantly woke up and looked around confused.

‘’ Good morning ‘’ Jiyong greeted his voice still husky. 

Dara jumped slightly scared then looked around to find Jiyong laying next to her and he was smiling while he looked at her.

‘’ G-good m-morning ‘’ She answered hesitantly without thinking twice she immediately looked down at herself and was more than relieved when she knew she was fully dressed. 

‘’ Don’t worry, nothing happened between us last night ‘’ Jiyong answered her unvoiced question. 

‘’ Umm… I… I mean… last night… what happened? ‘’ 

Jiyong woke up and leaned himself so he was in a sitting position and decided to play with her.

‘’ I never thought you’d act like that while you’re drunk ‘’ He started and Dara’s eyes widened in horror. 

She good drunk just twice in her life and none of them ended up in a good way. Just the simple remainder of her dark history with alcohol can freak her up.

And now with Jiyong? She must have messed up really bad, suddenly, she was worried she may have said something because maybe just maybe she tends to tell the truth whenever she’s drunk.

‘’ Dara!! ‘’ Jiyong shouted. 

‘’ Huh? What? ‘’ she asked absentmindedly.

‘’ You’re not listening to me ‘’ Jiyong gently stated.  
‘’ Sorry ‘’ She mumbled then looked up at him with puppy eyes ‘’ It was really bad, wasn’t it? ‘’ She asked in a mouse like voice and he fought the urge to laugh. 
‘’ Really bad ‘’ He exaggerated and Dara shut her eyes tight and bit her lower lip ‘’ It was really bad that you lean me on the entire time and then you slumbered to sleep the moment I put you on the bed ‘’ He added.

‘’ I didn’t- wait, what? ‘’ and that’s when Jiyong started laughing ‘’ Yah! We’re you making fun of me?! ‘’ She shouted. 

‘’ Yup! You should have seen your face, oh God! ‘’ Jiyong
