Forty minutes later, they were in front of Dara’s apartment.

‘’ Thank you ‘’ Sandara said as the car stopped ‘’ For tonight and for everything ‘’

‘’ It’s my pleasure ‘’ He answered with a grin ‘’ I should be thanking you for coming ‘’

Dara’s smile and happiness were pretty visible in her eyes and she simply nodded as a response ‘’ I should go ‘’

‘’ Good night, butterfly ‘’

Sandara chuckled before asking ‘’ What’s with you and butterflies? ‘’

‘’ You don’t remember? ‘’ He questioned and Dara being confused shook her head ‘’ The day I met you in London, you were wearing a dress with butterfly patterns, your earrings had the form of a butterfly and you were as soft and as beautiful as mid-spring butterfly ‘’ He explained and Dara’s heart went into an overdrive for the nth time that night.

‘’ You remember all that ‘’ It was more of a statement.

‘’ I can’t seem to forget anything about you ‘’ He confessed making her grin.

‘’ Good night, Jiyong ‘’ She said and finally stepped out of the car.

Jiyong didn’t go until he was sure she was inside the building and then drove away.

On Monday, Jiyong’s schedule was all done and over with by 6. He knew that Dara was working as he called her and asked in the morning so he went to the hideout. He was surprised to find that Seungri and Seung Hyun were already there.

‘’ What are two doing here? ‘’ He asked as soon he entered.

‘’ Well hello to you too ‘’ Seung Hyun sarcastically answered.

‘’ You’re not the only one who’s allowed to come here ‘’ Seungri added and Jiyong held his hands up in surrender.

The men sat there talking when suddenly someone arrived. It was Joo Yeon. Jiyong’s expression immediately darkened and his jaw clenched, however, Joo Yeon was acting as nothing had happened.

‘’ What’s wrong with you two? ‘’ Seung Hyun was the one who asked when he noticed the glares Jiyong was giving to Joo Yeon.

‘’ Who invited her here? ‘’ Jiyong asked.

‘’ Oppa, you know I don’t need an invitation to come here ‘’

‘’ Well, from now on you'll need ‘’ He sternly told her ‘’ I still can’t let go of what you did last night so you better go and apologize ‘’ He added.

‘’ Oppa… you’re not mad at me because of something that silly, are you? ‘’ She asked and the two other men looked at each confused about what was happening.

‘’ You came to my house in the middle of the night and you accused my girlfriend of being a and then you walked out without a single word of apology and you call that silly?! ‘’ Jiyong hissed angrily.

‘’ Girlfriend? ‘’ Seungri and Seung Hyun both asked at the same time but they didn’t get an answer.

‘’ Since when do you have a girlfriend? I know you oppa, you don’t do dating ‘’ Joo Yeon confidently said and folded her arms.

‘’ Well, I do now and if you want to keep our friendship then you better go and apologize for what you said to her ‘’ And they both stared at each other.

‘’ Is it Sandara? You guys are finally together? ‘’ Seungri suddenly spoke and without thinking Jiyong immediately answered.

‘’ Yes ‘’

‘’ I’ll see you guys soon ‘’ Joo Yeon muttered and then quickly walked out. Jiyong took a deep breath and sighed.

‘’ Why are you being harsh to her? ‘’ Seung Hyun asked him.

‘’ You know that she loves you, right? ‘’ Seungri added.

‘’ Yes, but she needs to understand that she and I will never ever happen especially now after I found Sandara. From now on, there’s only Dara and everyone needs to get that ‘’

‘’ She’s the one, right? ‘’ Seung Hyun asked and Jiyong looked at him for a good minute without saying anything.

‘’ I don’t know ‘’ He finally answered ‘’ I’ll see you guys soon ‘’ he added and headed to the door.

‘’ Don’t forget Youngbae’s party on Wednesday ‘’ Seungri shouted and Jiyong gave him a thumbs up.

Dara was leaving with Minzy when the younger woman grinned so suddenly.

‘’ Look, it’s your handsome friend ‘’ Minzy said and Dara’s eyes immediately looked ahead.

Jiyong was walking toward them and he was holding a beautiful bouquet of roses in his hand.

‘’ Ladies ‘’ Then he leaned and kissed Dara’s cheek then he looked at her friend ‘’ Minzy, right? ‘’

Minzy’s face lit up more than it already was and she nodded ‘’ You’re leaving, right? ‘’ He asked.

‘’ Yes ‘’

‘’ Come with us, we’ll take you home on our way ‘’ Jiyong offered but Minzy politely declined.

‘’ It’s okay, I have a meeting with a friend but thank you ‘’ Then she turned to Dara ‘’ See you tomorrow, unnie ‘’ and then she walked away.

‘’ Here, those are for you ‘’ Jiyong said once they were alone and handed her the roses.

‘’ Thanks ‘’ She instantly said ‘’ Why are you here? ‘’ she asked as they started walking.

‘’ To take you home? ‘’ He asked back and Dara giggled.

‘’ You came all the way here just to take me home? Sorry to break it to you buddy but I know how to go home by myself ‘’ She joked.

Jiyong laughed as he wrapped a hand around her shoulder ‘’ Well, then you have to bear with me for now ‘’

‘’ Where are we going? This is not the way to my house ‘’ Sandara said as she looked outside the car window.

‘’ Because we’re not going home ‘’ He replied.

Dara frowned ‘’ But- ‘’

‘’ No buts for tonight ‘’ It more of a command than a request.

‘’ Then I’ll call and tell them that I’ll be late ‘’ She admitted defeat as she fished for her phone inside her bag.

As they reached the restaurant, Dara started getting self-conscious. She didn’t know she’d be coming to such a fancy restaurant. She was wearing a baby blue shirt, a peachy pencil skirt, and matched them with a peachy stiletto. Her hair was in a ponytail and she only had foundation on.

As Jiyong was busy checking their reservation, Dara was busy checking their surroundings. Jiyong sensed her discomfort but he just smiled. Once they were seated and alone he watched her as she didn’t even meet his eyes and played with her watch.

‘’ You’re the prettiest girl here so just stop worrying ‘’ He unexpectedly said and smiled warmly at her.

‘’ I… It… thank you ‘’ and she finally beamed.
