When Dara took long to come back, Jiyong followed her to Seung Jae’s room. He softly knocked then slowly opened the door and peeked inside. He inwardly smiled when he saw her. She was sitting on the bed next to Seung Jae and reading him a story. The little boy was already in the lalaland. 

Looking over at him, Dara smiled and shrugged.
‘’ I’ll be waiting outside ‘’ Jiyong whispered and then walked out. 

After ticking Seung Jae to bed, Dara stood to leave but as she put her hand on the doorknob, she stopped. The events of earlier that night were played in her head again and she had those butterflies again. 

She closed her eyes and threw her head back. What are you doing, Sandara? The man already has a girlfriend! 

But he was going to kiss me! 

He just got carried away! 

He said he couldn’t think of someone else all these years! 

But he still has a girlfriend now, doesn’t he? 

Ugh! I’m going crazy! 

After taking a deep breath, she finally walked out. Jiyong was standing by the window again. He must really like the view, she thought to herself. She cleared to make her presence known and Jiyong was quick to turn around. 

He smiled at her and asked ‘’ He slept already? ‘’ 
‘’ Yeah ‘’ She answered not meeting his eyes.
‘’ He must be tired then, he was so energetic tonight ‘’ He kept talking but she was still not looking at him. She simply nodded her head in response and she was biting her lower lip.

How he wanted to devour those pink lips of hers! 

He walked and stood right in front of her. It was only then that she lifted her eyes and looked at him but she quickly looked away. 

‘’ Dara… ‘’ He started as he reached for her face but she moved away instantly as if been electrified. Jiyong frowned at her reaction.

‘’ Is everything okay? ‘’ He asked and before she could answer he asked again ‘’ Did I… did I do something wrong? ‘’ 

Dara sighed before meeting his eyes ‘’ No… but we almost did ‘’

Jiyong was taking a back with what she said and his heart skipped a beat. Why was he so scared of her rejection? 

‘’ W-what do you mean? ‘’ 

‘’ What happened earlier… it was wrong, it shouldn’t happen ‘’ She replied ‘’ Nothing should happen, actually ‘’ she lied. All that she was saying were nothing but lies because all she truly wanted was to be with him. 
 
Jiyong was confused, angry, annoyed, hurt and frustrated.

‘’ Why? ‘’ He simply asked ‘’ Why should nothing happen? I have just told you that I like you and that I couldn’t get you out of my mind and if I was not mistaken, you said the same. We were about to kiss each other if not for Seung Jae so tell me what the hell happened so you’d say this! ‘’ It was more of an order even though he was saying as low as he could. 
‘’ What do you mean why? You have a girlfriend, remember? ‘’ She hissed, she herself was getting annoyed with him. 
‘’ Girlfriend? What girlfriend? ‘’ He asked her and she rolled her eyes.
‘’ Don’t try to hide it, I’ve seen you together. That day in the hospital, she was there with you and she made it so clear that you were hers ‘’ 

Jiyong looked at her for few seconds before he busted out laughing. Sandara was offended and frowned at him. 

‘’ How did you become a doctor, huh? ‘’ He asked out of nowhere and was amused with how she was looking at him ‘’ So every female that stands next to me or talks to me is my girlfriend, that’s what you’re saying, right? ‘’ He asked and folded his arms. He was wearing an amused smirk on his face.

‘’ What? ‘’ She asked as her mind analyzed what he said and tried to get what he meant, then her eyes widened for a second ‘’ I… I… ‘’ 
‘’ You what? You saw Joo Yeon holding my hand and talking to me so you quickly assumed she was my girlfriend? Or was it Yubin?  ‘’ 

Dara was lost and didn’t know what to say. So he didn’t have a girlfriend? 

Jiyong sighed then he moved closer and held both her arms ‘’ Didn’t you hear what I’ve been telling you all night? ‘’ He asked and he sounded really tired ‘’ Look at me ‘’ He ordered and Dara found herself compelled to do as he said. 
‘’ I’ll repeat this for one more time since it looks like you can’t really understand what I’m saying ‘’ He quickly glanced at her lips then back at her eyes ‘’ Yes, I’ve been a player before but ever since what happened between us in London, I changed. ‘’ 

‘’ All I could think about was you. I had known you for just a few hours but I couldn’t get you out of mind. Every time I was with a girl, I’d suddenly see your face in her and wish it was you. Heck, whenever I was about to have with a girl, you would invade my mind and my body would immediately yearn for you. And yes, I haven’t had for years and it’s all your damn fault ‘’ He boldly said. By that moment, Dara’s heart was abnormally beating and her mind was lost. 
‘’ So the point is, even if I wanted to be with someone else, I couldn’t. I don’t know what the hell happened or why or anything, but all I ever wanted for all these years, is you ‘’ He finally revealed. His eyes were looking down at her gently. 
‘’ Oh ‘’ 
‘’ Yeah, oh ‘’ 
‘’ I… I didn’t… I mean I didn’t k-know ‘’ She stuttered. 
‘’ Of course, you didn’t ‘’ He answered, his eyes were fixed on her lips and she knew what was coming. 

They stood in silence for a few seconds and then Jiyong was leaning down and she could feel his warm breath. She was breathing hard and her eyes were immediately shut down. If this kept happening every time she’s with him then she’ll have a heart disease soon.
