“Well,” Sanghyuk sighed, “that could have gone better.”

“Shut up,” Hakyeon hissed, sinking slightly in his seat, “just shut up.”

“That wasn’t a commentary on your plan,” Sanghyuk replied, “honestly, I think that was the best plan you’ve ever come up with. If anything failed, it was a little thing called Team LR.”

“Knew I shouldn’t have paired them together for this job,” Hakyeon grumbled, glaring at the holding cell wall in front of him.

“They can do amazing stuff together,” Sanghyuk assured him, “there’s a good reason you paired them up for this. It’s just that sometimes they go a little........stupid.”

“Why did it have to be this time?” Hakyeon whined, curling up against Sanghyuk and sulking, “my plan was perfect! I spent months thinking this one up.”

“I know,” Sanghyuk smiled slightly, “but I know you’ll think of something even better next time.”

“You think?” Hakyeon asked and Sanghyuk nodded, internally laughing at the idea of Hakyeon needing someone to assure him of something like that. He was a crime lord feared by most of the city with a gang feared by at least half the country, after all.

“How long do you think it will be before they break us out?” Sanghyuk asked seconds before the pair heard the sound of gun fire.

“Couple minutes,” Hakyeon replied, pulling away from the younger and standing up, “let’s hope they remembered to bring guns for us this time.”

A/N: so that criminal AU from the second theme was so much fun I just had to dive in again. Plus what else was I gonna do when the theme for this was ‘prison’ hahaha
