Waiting for the one you loved was torture, especially when you hadn’t been able to see them in months. Hongbin scowled down at the phone in his hands, waiting for the announcer to tell him that Sanghyuk’s bus had finally arrived. The slightly younger man had to go out of town for work and Hongbin had been beyond lonely without Sanghyuk filling their home with his laughter and warmth.

But now Sanghyuk was coming home.

Now that loneliness was going to fade away to nothing.

“Bin?” Sanghyuk said, startling Hongbin.

“Wh-what?” Hongbin gasped, rushing to hug his boyfriend, “but it didn’t say your bus had arrived.”

“It did,” Sanghyuk laughed, “you just weren’t paying attention. Thinking about anything special?”

“Shut up,” Hongbin huffed at the teasing, “welcome home, brat.”

“Happy to be home.”

A/N: not gonna lie, saw this theme and felt the urge to do something dark. But since the last theme was so sad, I couldn’t muster up the energy to actually go through with it. so sappy sweet it is!
