“God damn,” Sanghyuk sighed, dropping his gear carelessly as he entered the apartment, “I’m beat.”

“How was work?” Taekwoon questioned, “did everything go alright.”

“About as well as it can go,” Sanghyuk replied, dropping on to the couch beside his boyfriend, “Jaehwan almost got himself killed.”

“Is he alright?” Taekwoon felt a little stupid asking. If Jaehwan wasn’t alright, then Sanghyuk wouldn’t be here with him. He’d be at the hospital with his teammates until Jaehwan convinced everyone to go home.

“He’s fine,” Sanghyuk nodded, “a few stiches and a couple days of rest and it will be like it never happened.”

“And the rest of the team?”

“Everyone is ok,” Sanghyuk assured him, “the hostage was a little ruffed up, but they’ll be alright in time.”

“Good,” Taekwoon smiled, “why don’t you go to bed? Get some sleep? You look like you need it.”

“I’d like to put up a fight about it,” Sanghyuk yawned, “because I’d really like to spend some time with you, but…..I’m just so tired.”

“Sleep,” Taekwoon said, leaning over to kiss the other man, “we can spend time together tomorrow.”

“I’ll hold you to that,” Sanghyuk smiled before heading off to the bedroom.

A/N: wrote this while watching Achievement Hunter playing Rainbow Six: Siege. Clearly, it had an effect on my writing hahahahaha
