Hongbin scowled as he watched the girl hanging off of Sanghyuk’s arm, playfully whining about something. Sanghyuk was laughing as her actions which caused the girl to smile, but his laugher only made Hongbin scowl more. He had never liked the girl. The second Sanghyuk had introduced her to their groups of friends, Hongbin had decided that he didn’t like her and he never would.

Why?

Because she was dating Sanghyuk. Because Sanghyuk was in love with her. Because Sanghyuk looked at her the way Hongbin wished he would look at him.

He should be the one that Sanghyuk loved, the one who made him smile and laugh like that. He had known Sanghyuk for longer. He had loved Sanghyuk for longer. He knew Sanghyuk better than she did.

So why didn’t Sanghyuk love him?

Why her?
