Baby Don't Cry
It was finally time for us to go home and we went our separate ways. I arrived home and none of the guys were in the living room. Maybe they were asleep already. I went into our bedroom and Donghae wasn’t there. I guess no one’s home. Maybe they have a mission since they are in a gang. I got my clothes and went to go shower. Today was such a long day… After I was done, I went to go dry my hair but I heard voices. Maybe the guys are home… I walked into the living room and saw the guys sitting on the couches. They had bruises on their faces.
“What happened to you guys?” I asked them.
“Oh noona. You’re home already. We just got into a fight with another gang.” Taemin told us. I didn’t see Donghae though.
“Where’s your leader?” I asked them.
“We don’t know. Hae said to go back before us. He said he had to be somewhere.” Eunhyuk explained to me. He’s probably with Sunye then.
“I see. I’ll help you guys clean your cuts.” I smiled at them. “Wait here.” I ran into the bathroom and got the first aid kit and started treated them. After I was done, I offered to cook them noodles but they told me to go to bed. “Are you sure?”
“We can cook noona. You must be tired from work. Just go to bed.” Minho assured me. I just nodded my head and headed towards our bedroom. I guess I’m sleeping alone again tonight.
=A Few Months Later=
Everything’s been the same these past few months. Nothing really changed. Donghae and I don’t really talk… he spends most of his time with Sunye and the guys still don’t know about it. They all think that Donghae and I are happy but we’re not. I’m not. I just feel hurt. He still hangs out with Sunye a lot and he’s never really home. I gotten closer with the other guys. I love them… they’re like my brothers. I’ve also gotten close with Jiyong. I met his group of friends too… turns out they’re in a gang called Big Bang. I was fine with it though… they were really friendly. I was getting ready to go and hang out with Jiyong since I had nothing else to do.
“Where are you going?” I heard Donghae ask me. Now he talks to me. Well buddy… it’s none of your business.
“Out with a friend.”
“Who.”
“Just a friend. I’m going out now. I might not come home tonight.” I said before walking out the door.
Donghae’s POV
What the hell? Why isn’t she coming home?! Is she going to be with that guy I saw her with a few months ago?! I know she talks to him a lot! She’s not suppose to be talking to other guys! She’s married! Aish… wait. Why do you care Donghae? You do the same to her with Sunye! Stop thinking about Haein… she’s nothing to you. I took out my phone and called Sunye if she wanted to hang out today. We ended up going to the mall.
“Oppa. Can I get this new dress that I’ve been wanting?” She asked me all cutely.
“Get anything you want. I’ll get it for you.” I smiled at her. She thanked me by kissing me on the cheeks and dragged me into the store. I was sitting on the couch busy checking my phone while Sunye was looking at the dresses. I didn’t really like shopping but if it’s what Sunye wanted to do then I was fine with it. Sunye has her moments… sometimes I just want to dump her but sometimes I don’t have the heart to. There’s just something about Sunye that I can’t let go.
“Oppa. Why are we even here? I don’t need anything.” I heard a really familiar voice. I didn’t look up though… maybe I’m just hearing things.
“Ani. I want to get you some new clothes. A gift for always being here for me.” The male voice said. “Here try this one on. I think it’ll look nice on you.”
“It’s fine. Please let’s go.”
“Try it on for me… please?” I heard the male voice say.
“Aish. You know I can’t resist your pouts!”
“Hehe. That’s why I use it. Now go!” Why does the voice sound so familiar. I felt someone sitting next to me and looked up and saw someone familiar. Where have I seen this guy before? “Are you waiting for your girlfriend?” He asked me.
“De. She’s just looking around for some dresses. You too?” I asked him.
“Well, she’s not my girlfriend. She’s my friend and I wanted to get her some clothes. She’s always wearing tom boyish clothes. I thought it’d be nice if she dressed up girlier.” He told me. I couldn’t help but laugh.
“Does she know that you think that about her?” I asked him.
“Yeah. I tell her all the time. She just glares at me and smacks me. She’s pretty strong for a girl.” He told me.
“Is she pretty though?” I asked him.
“Yeah she’s really pretty. I don’t know why she dresses like a boy when she can be really pretty.” He told me. “Finally! The dress looks nice on you! I told you it’ll look great on you!” I heard him saying to his friend. I looked over and saw Haein standing right in front of me. She was wearing a strapless floral dress that hugged her body perfectly. It looked stunning on her. I couldn’t help but stare at her. She looked breathtaking.
“What do you think?” Her friend asked me. She turned to me and saw me… she looked shocked.
“I-it looks n-nice.” I stuttered. Why the hell did I stutter!?
“Look what you did Haein! You left him awestruck… you should dress like this now… you can get guys this way!” Her friend told her. She didn’t even look at me.
“Jiyong ah, let’s go. I’m hungry. I’m going to go change and let’s go.” Haein said and left to the changing room.
“My friend is pretty huh?” He asked me.
“Yeah. Really pretty.” I couldn’t believe that was Haein. The only time I saw her in a dress was on our wedding day. Other than that, all she wore were shirts and jeans. Her friend was right… she should dress more like that. Wait. What am I even thinking?! Then it hit me… is she going to stay out late with that Jiyong guy?! She can’t!!! She’s a girl. I looked over to the Jiyong guy but he was already gone. .
“Oppa what’s wrong?” Sunye asked me. I forgot that I was even with her.
“Nothing. Are you done? Are you hungry? Let’s go eat.”
“Not yet. Why don’t you go eat first and come back for me then.”
“Okay.” I ran out of the store and tried to find Haein. She cannot hang out with him all night. I won’t allow it. I spotted them from the crowd and ran to them. I grabbed Haein’s arm and turned her around.
“What are you doing?” I heard Jiyong ask and he tried to free Haein’s arm from my grasp.
“Stay out of it.” I warned him and I looked at Haein.
“What do you want?” she asked me coldly.
“Why aren’t you coming home tonight? Are you going to be with this guy all night?! You can’t do that!” I told her.
“What does it have to do with you? Didn’t I tell you months ago that we should live our separate lives and we can’t question what we do? You stay out of my business and I’ll stay out of yours. Got that?” She yanked her arm away from my grasp and took Jiyong’s hand and walked away. She’s right. What does it even have to do with me.
Bom’s POV
I’m so bored!!! Freaking Haein… why did you have to be busy today?! I wonder if she’s hanging out with Donghae. I hope they fall in love…. I can see them together. Haein seems happier so I’m guessing she’s happy with him. I don’t know what to do… There’s never anything to do in Korea! Maybe I should go eat by myself. Sigh, I wish I had more friends. I don’t really feel like eating anything though. Well, maybe corn. I should just go buy corn and eat it! I think I’ll do that. Huhuhu.
I arrived at a corn stand and ordered three corns to go. What? I’m not a fatty… I just love to eat. There’s a difference. The ahjumma gave me my corn and I was about to leave but I spotted someone familiar. It was Hyukjae! Yupps. He told me his real name… We’ve grown closer these past few months. He was in a coffee shop with a girl and they were sharing a drink. I guess that’s his girlfriend. Sigh. My heart started hurting… heart stop hurting. You already know that he has a girlfriend… You shouldn’t feel this way. I don’t even know why I still like him when I know he has a girlfriend. He told me that he really loves her and he plans on marrying her one day. His girlfriend was really pretty too. I have no chance against her. Give him already Park Bom. Find someone else.
I didn’t realize that tears were falling from my eyes. I’m such an idiot. I did this to myself so I have no right to cry. I couldn’t stand looking at them anymore so I decided to leave. I walked by the mall and I saw Donghae with a girl. Wait isn’t that girl his ex girlfriend?! Why is he still hanging out with her? And why is he holding hands with her?! What the hell is going on? I walked up to them.
“Yah Lee Donghae. Why are you holding hands with your ex girlfriend? I thought you stopped seeing her!” I yelled at him. I was angry at the fact that he lied.
“Oppa lied. We’re still seeing each other. His wife knows about it. Oppa told her on their wedding day.” His girlfriend smirked at me. I couldn’t believe it. So this whole time… Haein already knew about it?! She’s been suffering on her own. Even if Haein didn’t say anything, I know she has feelings for Donghae. She just hasn’t realized it yet.
“You inconsiderate jackass. I can’t believe you told her that on your own wedding day. Even if you guys didn’t marry for love, shouldn’t you at least respect Haein. I can’t believe you’re so heartless. I already told you guys not to do this because one of you will get hurt. You’re an idiot for hurting my best friend.” I told him.
“Haein’s not hurt. She’s hanging out with another guy right now. We decided to live separate lives. I already told her from day one to not fall in love with me and that I’m still going to date Sunye. So I see no problem with it.” He told me.
“You’re an idiot. Fine. Stay away from Haein then. You leave her the hell alone.” I told him before walking away. I can’t believe it. I need to find Haein. I called her cell.
“Bommie?”
“Where are you?”
“I’m at the mall. Why?”
“What part?”
“I’m at the food court. Why?”
“I’m here. Wait for me… I’m coming.” I ran to the food court and spotted her with a guy. “Haein.” I called her.
“Bommie! What are you doing here? You okay?” She asked me.
“De.” I looked at her and over to the guy. Why does he look so familiar?
“Park Bom?!” The guy called out. Wait that voice….
“Kwon Jiyong?!”
“You guys know each other?” Haein asked.
“De. She went out with my hyung.” Jiyong explained.
“Which hyung?” Haein asked.
“T.O.P. hyung.” Jiyong answered. That name. I haven’t heard it in years. I dated him for a year and I was in love with him but then he decides to dump me because he got bored of me. He just blew me off. “How are you doing Bommie?”
“Don’t call me that. You’re not allowed to call me that.” I told him coldly.
“I’m sorry. How are you Bom-ssi.”
“I’m fine.”
“Look. I’m sorry for what my hyung did. But does it mean that you have to be mean to me too? I actually liked you. I don’t know why hyung did what he did. Can we be friends?” Jiyong asked me sincerely. He’s right… he didn’t do anything… it was all Seunghyun so I shouldn’t take it out on Jiyong or s.
“Alright. Let’s be friends.” I smiled at him.
“Yo Ji. What are you doing here?” That voice. It can’t be. I turned around and saw that it was him.
