Foreword
Moon Haeyoung has been with Kwon Jiyong for five years. For five years, she loved no one but him. At the age of 24, Haeyoung is a successful and famous wedding planner. Everyone goes to her because they know she is one of the best in Korea. She had a loving and very supporting family. At the age of 25, Kwon Jiyong is a very famous lawyer. He runs his own firm and it’s one of the top firms in Korea. He, also, has a very loving and supporting family. Haeyoung feels like she has it all… the perfect job, the perfect family, the perfect life, and the perfect boyfriend. She’s at the age where she’s ready to commit and settle down with Jiyong. Jiyong, on the other hand, has no intentions of settling down with Haeyoung.
Haeyoung thought that this was just a phase that Jiyong was going through and decided to let it slide and wait. Six months later, Jiyong’s intentions were still the same. Haeyoung couldn’t help but feel hurt by it and decides to confront him. She asks him why he doesn’t want to marry her and his only reply is that he doesn’t want to settle down with her. Haeyoung gives him an ultimatum: marry her or they should break up. Jiyong chooses to break up with her and this leaves Haeyoung devastated. It took Haeyoung exactly a year to get over him. She is finally able to move on with her life and start fresh. A very important client decides to hire her to plan for her wedding. Haeyoung believes that this is a sign that everything will be great from now on. Unfortunately, the very important client’s fiancé turns out to be the one and only Kwon Jiyong.
