Hilary's POV

I waited for Krystal outside our private room.  I supposed DaeSung did manage to keep SeungHyun inside since she came out alone.

"You have an offer for me?" Krystal asked with a smirk on her face.

I chuckled, "Offer?  I thought you had an offer, for me!"

She put away her smirk and took a step closer to me, "Leave SeungHyun.  Leave town.  Then I will spare all the embarrassment to your entire family."

"Keep my family out of this.  And do you seriously think you can get away with it if anything happens to me?"

I could see that Krystal jittered a little at my words.

I continued, "You know well I won't leave town nor will I leave SeungHyun just because you told me to.  You came back all of a sudden.  Acting mysteriously and all prepared, pretending to have a good card in your hands.  If you are so sure that whatever you have will knock me down, why don't you just spare all these little acts and show your card?  Get it over with."

"Do you think you can handle it?  The truth?" Krystal challenged.

I exhaled slowly and said, "Try me!"

She hesitated.  I could see that she was not exactly that confident as she pretended to be.  She was taking a chance.  A bet.  A risk.  She somehow knew her chances of winning was rare but she still had to try.  It made me feel that she somehow still loved SeungHyun very much that she was willing to take the chance to fight for what she wanted.  Or what she wanted for her child.

"Miss Jung, you see.  You may think that you have the key, but I'm actually the one who's holding it.  And I don't like being threatened.  I don't back away from threats either.  Your coming here, trying to threat me by making this appearance at our family dinner with all of our family members in presence really isn't a wise move.  Should I say... bold, but stupid.  Coz you just declared war with the entire family." I tried not to sound so arrogant but I did want to ensure she know exactly what I meant and what exactly she just got herself into.

"You think I didn't think about that before I came?  You think I'm scared?" Krystal raised her chin a little as she said, trying to act like she had everything under her control.

I slightly shook my head with a soft sigh, "I know what happened 7 years ago.  Things went pretty ugly back then.  But I can assure you that things would only be uglier.  Have you really thought about that?"

"You are not scaring me, Kim EunHi!" Krystal said.

I chuckled, "I'm not trying to.  I just want to remind you that you are walking on thin ice here.  I just want you to think twice before you act if you have someone you need to protect."

Krystal was startled and looked me in the eyes with awe, "You...  You knew?"

I slightly nodded my head.

She trembled a little, "You found out and you didn't say a word to SeungHyun?"

"I'm not the one he should hear it from." I said softly.

She gazed at me with little tears in her eyes, "Do SeungRi and CL know too?"

I nodded.

"You all knew but no one told SeungHyun about it."

"Like I said, he should not hear it from anyone of us." I meant what I said.  If SeungHyun needed to know, he should hear it from her instead of someone else.

Krystal gritted her teeth to fight her tears.  

"So, are you ready to show your card?" I asked.  She didn't answer me.

I took a deep breath and said, "Is he in Seoul?"

She looked up immediately with worried eyes.  I couldn't help but chuckle, "I'm not going to hurt him.  And if you care about him so much, you really shouldn't have shown up like this tonight."

"Are you threatening me?" Krystal stared me in the eyes as if she was ready to rip my head off.

"I am most certainly not.  I just want to meet him."

My words surprised Krystal.  She gasped, "Why?"

"Curiosity?" I shrugged a little.

"He is not an exhibit." She said bluntly.

I rolled my eyes a little and said, "I never said he was.  And you know that's not what I meant."

She looked away and tried to calm herself down a bit.

"Let's stop playing hide-and-seek.  You came all the way back to Seoul with a reason.  So, let it reveal."

She gasped again, "Why would I do that?  To let you or your family deport us out of Korea?  Or to let you take him away from me?"

I let out a sigh, "No one is going to take him away from you.  At least I don't plan to do that."

"But your family will."

I couldn't help but let out a laugh, "I thought you said you were not afraid."

Krystal gulped as she stared at me.

"Like I said, you came back for a reason.  So whatever you planned to do, just do it.  Stop wasting everybody's time."

She looked me in the eyes and asked, "You are not worried?  What if SeungHyun leaves you because of this?"

I slowly inhaled, "Well, it's not up to me, isn't it?"

"Do you really love him?  Coz you don't look like you do to me." Krystal asked.

Her words did not have any effect on me.  I was surprisingly calm, "It is because I love him so much that I will respect his decisions if those decisions will make him happy."

"Even if it means you can't be with him?"

"Yes.  Who says you have to hang on to someone to love him?  Sometimes, letting go is greater love." I said.

Krystal let out a laugh, "Stop kidding yourself.  You can only let go because you don't love him that much.  No women can deal with this like you do now.  Acting all calm and understanding.  It's all because you don't love him.  I heard you had a thing with JiYong.  Maybe you are still in love with him?"

I rolled my eyes again, "I'm not here to discuss my love life with you.  You came and wanted to throw a bomb at us.  Now that I already know what the bomb is, you may as well show it to us.  Or you on the other hand is scared because it's a bomb that won't blow?"

Krystal gritted her teeth as she looked me in the eyes.

SeungHyun's POV

"DaeSung, why are you blocking the door?" I asked with my brows drawn together.

"Choi Sajang Nim, I'm sorry but Kim Isa Nim asked me to keep you in here." DaeSung said.

"DaeSung, move over!" I ordered.

DaeSung shook his head.

"I said MOVE!" I repeated with a death glare at him.

"Choi Sajang Nim, I'm really sorry but I can't let you through." DaeSung looked like he would not let me through even if he had to take a punch.

"Hyeong, just sit down." SeungRi stepped to my side and said, "Let Hill handle it."

I looked at him and asked, "Handle it?  Handle what?"

"Hyeong, why are you so agitated?  What are you so worried about?" SeungRi questioned.

I inhaled deeply and said, "I'm not agitated.  I just want to go see my fiance."

"What do you want to do?  Throw Krystal out of here?  Or drag Hill out of here?  You knew damn well that Krystal would come to Hill, but you never did anything to avoid that.  So, what are you going to do now?  And what can you do now?" SeungRi raised his voice a little.  This was the first time my little brother talked to me like this.  So serious and angry.

Before I could say anything, Father spoke, "Stop it, you two!"

We both gasped a little and turned around.  I looked at my mother and found that she glared at me with angry eyes.  The last time she looked at me like this was 7 years ago.

I then gave Mrs. Kim a quick glance.  Out of my surprise, she looked quite calm as if nothing happened.  But then, WooBin Hyeong glared at me as if he wanted to tear me apart.

"I don't know what's happening.  But I'm sure EunHi will be able to handle it.  Let's just wait." Jang Hwaejang said softly.

"I'm really sorry, Jang Hwaejang Nim." Father apologized as he threw me a sharp glare.

SeungRi pushed me forwarded, "Go sit down!"

I glanced at him out of the corner of my eye without moving.  He pushed me again, "Sit down!  There's nothing you can do now."

I took a deep breath to calm myself before I walked over to the table again.  I dared not look up at anyone at the table.  CL patted me on the arm and whispered, "Hill will be fine.  She is a strong woman."

My mind was a mess that I could not think clearly.  I did not know how things ended up like this.  It was a lovely dinner and everyone was happy all evening.  I never imagined Krystal would show up like this.  Maybe SeungRi was right.  I knew she would show up somehow, but I never did anything to prevent it to happen.  Maybe I somehow still believed that Krystal was a better person.

Hilary's POV

I waited for Krystal's reaction.  I in fact was a little nervous since I was not sure if I was ready for the truth yet.  But then I just didn't see the reason to hide from it either.

"Maybe you need some time to think about it?" I said.

Krystal looked up and I could see all the hesitation in her eyes.

"You don't have to worry.  No one is going to take him away from you.  I promise.  You have my word." I assured her.  I somehow understood what she was worried about.  She probably worried that Mrs. Choi would do something to them.
