Hilary's POV

I didn't know why but I just didn't want to be alone tonight, especially after seeing SeungHyun at the river bank this afternoon.  So, I called JiYong, hoping he would come over.  And he did.

I went down to the entrance and waited for him after he hung up.  I waited for almost 30 minutes before I saw a white Lamborghini pulled over.  JiYong jumped out of his car and threw his car key to the valet as he ran towards me.

"You said twen...ty..." Before I could finish my sentence, JiYong threw his arms around me and hugged me tightly to himself.  I moved my hands up to his waist and hugged him back, "What is it?"

"Let's just stay like this for a while!" JiYong whispered.

I chuckled as I patted him on the back, "We are at the entrance of my hotel."

He pulled away a little and brushed my nose, "I haven't seen you for a week."

I nodded with a smile.  He looked at me from head to toe and said, "You waited here for half an hour in just these?"

I was wearing a pair of shorts and a tshirt.  I came down immediately and totally forgot to put on a jacket.

"Girl, you'll catch a cold like this.  Let's get you inside." He took my hand and dragged me inside the hotel.

JiYong pushed me down on the couch and went to make tea for me.  I watched him quietly and couldn't help but think of the days in Paris.  JiYong sometimes cooked dinner for us, although he really was not a good cook no matter how many times he tried.  But then, he really did put his heart to it and I sometimes really enjoyed watching him battled with the steaks or even the lobsters.

"Here.  Drink it!"  JiYong passed me a cup of hot tea and sat down beside me.

I took a sip of the tea and put down the cup.  He picked it back up and held it to my mouth, "Drink more!"

I slightly pushed his hand away and said, "It's too hot."

"Oh!"  He then blew at the tea and tried to cool it down for me.

"Just put it down.  I will drink it in a while."  I took the cup from him and put it down on the coffee table.  I then slid my arm around his and snuggled my head on his shoulder.  JiYong leaned his head on mine and we just cuddled on the couch like that.  We didn't talk.  Just cuddled.

A while later, I asked, "Can you stay for tonight?"

"Huh?" He pulled away from me immediately and asked with his eyes wide-opened.

I looked at him and slightly drew my brows, "Hmm?"

"You want me to stay?" He asked in disbelief.

I nodded with a pout, "You don't want to?"

"I..."  He looked me in the eyes and hesitated.

I somehow had a feeling that JiYong was acting a little weird today.  I looked at him in the eyes and tried to read him; but I just couldn't.

"We can just watch a movie together until we fall asleep.  On this couch though!" I teased.

"I... arhh..."  He was never like this before.  He used to find all kinds of excuses to stay with me; but he hesitated now.

I blinked a few times at him and squeezed a smile, "You want to go back?"  He slightly looked away to avoid my gaze.

"It's OK.  No worries.  If you can't stay, maybe you should go since it's late.  You need to rest since you've been busy all week."  I stood up and wanted to walk over to the door; but JiYong grabbed my hand and stopped me.  He then wrapped his arms around my waist and nudged his forehead on my tummy.

I gently his hair and asked, "What is it?  Is it something about work?  Anything I can help?"

He pulled away from me and shook his head as he stood up, "I'll call you tomorrow."  He kissed me on the cheek and turned around to leave.

I watched him walked out of my suite without looking back as if once he left tonight, he would not come back again.  I suddenly had a strange feeling about this.  I wanted to chase after him, but it was like my feet were rooted to the floor that I just couldn't move.  It was like a small part of me was telling myself if he wanted to LEAVE, let him LEAVE...

Minzy's POV

It has been three days after our mission.  Yet, there was no sign of any action from SeungHyun Oppa nor Hilary finding the bracelet.  I called DaeSung Oppa early in the morning.

"Oppa, where did you hide the bracelet?  How come Hill still not finding it yet?" I asked.

"I put it somewhere that she will definitely see it.  I have no idea why she still hasn't found it yet." DaeSung Oppa said.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes."

I sighed, "Where did you put it?"

"Somewhere in the office." He answered.

"Where?"

"Why do you want to know?" He asked.

I rolled my eyes and said, "I think you should put it somewhere else.  I mean, place it on her desk if you need to."

This time, DaeSung Oppa let out a heavy sigh, "Choi Jonmu has not made any move in three days.  Why rush EunHi to find the bracelet?  If Choi Jonmu is not ready, I rather EunHi not finding it just yet."

DaeSung Oppa was somehow right, "Oppa, I need to hang up.  Will call you later."  I hung up before he could say another word.  I then immediately call SeungRi.

"Choi SeungRi!" I shouted.

"Minzy Park, it's only 10am in the morning and it's SUNDAY."  SeungRi sounded like he was still in bed.

"SOS!"

"AGAIN?  What now?"

I sighed, "What is your brother doing?  How come he hasn't done anything yet?  Three days already."

"Three days already?  Right!  Three days.  What is he doing?  I'll call you back."

"Yahh...."  He just hung up.

SeungRi's POV

I rushed to Hyeong's bedroom and burst inside, "Hyeong!"  I looked around and found the room empty.  Where did he go on a Sunday morning?

I turned to look at the TV cabinet and found his portrait was gone.  I walked over to his bedside table and opened the first drawer.  The small black box was gone too.

"Hyeong, what are you going to do?" I mumbled to myself.  I couldn't help but think of the wrong timing romance of his.  I suddenly felt a little worried about him.

Hilary's POV

JiYong never called or texted me since that night.  He never returned my texts and calls either.  I called his office a few times and his secretary said he was busy with the project and had meetings day and night.  CL told me JiYong stayed at the office and hasn't been home for a couple days.  Although everyone kept telling me how busy JiYong was, I somehow had a strange feeling that he was trying to hide from me.  I still remembered the look on his face when he left my hotel suite that night.  It was like once he left, we would not see each other again.  As if he was saying goodbye to me.

Was it something I did?  Or he finally was tired of waiting and decided to give up?

I really didn't know.

I have been very selfish to him but he was always generous to me.  I really tried; but like Minzy said, one couldn't groom love.  If it wasn't there in the first place, it might never be.

I couldn't and wouldn't blame him if he decided to annul the engagement.  I just felt so guilty and ashamed since I owed him too much which I somehow might not be able to repay.

I went for jogging near the neighbourhood this morning since I needed the exercise and fresh air to clear my head.  I ran for almost 45 minutes and felt a little bit better after.  Exercise did help to get my mind off everything.

I then went to my favourite cafe for breakfast.  I chose the table near the ceiling-to-floor window, so that I could look out of the window, listened to my ipod and enjoyed my coffee at the same time.  It reminded me the sidewalk cafe I used to go in Paris.

A familiar song started to play.  The song SeungHyun and I danced at Minzy's welcoming party.  'I Turn To You'.  The lyrics hit my heart word by word.  I took a deep breath and picked up my ipod to stop the song.

Suddenly, someone pulled away one of my earplugs, "What are you listening?"

I looked up and was shocked to find who sat down beside me.

HE put the earplug into his ear as he gazed me in the eyes.  I gasped a little at his gaze and somehow didn't know how to react.

"I remember this song.  I love it too!"  SeungHyun smiled gently to me
