SeungRi's POV

I received a text message from Minzy.  'SOS' and 'My place' were all she wrote.  I immediately went to her place to see what she was up to.

"You are here.  Come on in." Minzy opened the door for me and I saw a pair of man's shoes beside the shoe cabinet.

"Someone's here?" I asked.

Minzy nodded, "DaeSung Oppa."  She grabbed my arm and dragged me into the living room.  DaeSung looked up at me and nodded with a smile.  I nodded, "Hi!"

I then looked at Minzy and asked, "What's the SOS for?"

Minzy pushed me to the sofa and said, "Just sit down.  Do you want anything to drink?"

"Wine?" I teased.

"Choi SeungRi!  We are in serious business here.  Water or juice?" Minzy put her hands on each side of her waist and glared at me.

I chuckled and said to DaeSung, "She ever been this way to you?"  DaeSung glanced at Minzy and slightly shook his head.

Minzy hit me on the shoulder and said, "I'm only this way to you since you never once act serious when you have to."

I drew my brows as I rubbed my shoulder, "Why so serious all of a sudden?  You two need some ual advice from me?"

"CHOI SEUNG RI!" Minzy threw a cushion directly at my face.  I caught it just in time and laughed.  And DaeSung blushed all over.

"Alright!   Alright!  I'm just teasing you guys.  I don't need anything to drink.  Just tell me what I am doing here?" I put away my smile and said as I put the cushion down on the sofa.

Minzy sat down beside DaeSung and didn't waste any second to get to the point, "Is SeungHyun Oppa really dating Jenny Onni?"

I looked at her, then DaeSung, "So, this is about Hilary and my brother?"

Minzy nodded.

"What about them?  It's over, isn't it?" I said.  Actually, I was not too sure if it was really over yet.  But Hilary was engaged to JiYong Hyeong.  Things seemed to have fallen into their places already.

"Do you really believe it's over for them?  DO YOU?" Minzy asked with a serious look.

I glanced at both of them and asked, "What do you have in mind?"

"Tell me if they are really dating first." Minzy said.

I shrugged, "I really don't know.  My brother didn't say anything."

Minzy rolled her eyes, "I thought you brothers are close.  You guys don't talk at all?"

I frowned, "He has become even more mysterious ever since Hilary dumped him."

"HILL DID NOT DUMP HIM!" Minzy said it word by word to make sure I heard her right.

I laughed, "Alright.  She didn't dump him.  Well, I myself don't believe they are dating.  I mean, Jenny Park?  I don't think my brother will fall for a woman like her.  Not to mention, he still keeps that painting."

Both DaeSung and Minzy looked at me with their eyes wide-opened.  I drew back a little and asked, "What?"

"What painting?  Dino Bianchi?" Minzy asked with a serious look.

I nodded, "Mmm...  Dino Bianchi.  Hilary chose that painting for him in Milan almost 2 years ago."

DaeSung and Minzy looked at each other immediately.  I was all puzzled.  I furrowed my brows and asked, "What?"

Minzy looked me in the eyes and asked, "Do you know SeungHyun Oppa bought a painting for Hilary?  Also a Dino Bianchi."

I was stunned.  I thought about it a few seconds and said, "Don't tell me that painting was originally up on the wall in her office and now on the wall behind her bed!"

Minzy and DaeSung's jaws dropped.  I rolled my eyes and shook my head, "Jesus Christ!  What are these two idiots doing?"

"Choi SeungRi, are you saying SeungHyun Oppa put that painting in his bedroom too?" Minzy asked in disbelief.

I nodded, "If this is not FATE, I will chop my head off."

"I will too." DaeSung said.

Minzy and I looked at each other and couldn't help but laugh out loud.

"So, what do we do now?  I really don't understand why EunHi is doing this to herself." DaeSung said while running his fingers into his hair.

"I can't believe this.  I knew there must be something about the painting.  But I never thought SeungHyun Oppa has one too.  And they both put them up in the bedroom now?  I mean, if they are not in love with each other, I will chop my head off as well.  Jeez..."  Minzy kept shaking her head as she said.

I chuckled, "Well, I'm a 100% sure that our heads are safe."

"But EunHi is engaged to Kwon Sangmu now.  What else can we do?" DaeSung asked.

Minzy and I looked at each other and I said, "Minzy, you go and talk to JiYong Hyeong.  Much as I don't believe my brother is in love with Jenny Park, I doubt Hilary is really in love with JiYong Hyeong as well.  Otherwise, why would she put that painting in her bedroom?  If both of them had really let go, they should have thrown the painting away long time ago, right?"

Minzy nodded, "Agree.  I somehow think the paintings are a pair too.  That's why they put them up in their office at the beginning.  But then, things didn't go too well and they took the paintings down....."

"But neither able to let go, so they put it back up in the bedroom instead.  Thinking no one will notice.  Jeez...  I never imagined my brother's love life would be exactly like a drama."  I shook my head with a chuckle.

"But what can I say to JiYong Oppa?  I can't just ask him if Hilary is truly in love with him, can I?" Minzy asked.

I let out a heavy sigh and stood up.  I paced around the living room and said, "Tell him you want to get them an engagement present.  Ask him when will be the wedding.  You know?  Try to make him talk first."

Minzy gave me an affirmative nod, "OK!  I think I know what to do.  I'll go talk to him as Hill's best friend, as if I want to warn him to be good to Hill in person.  I'll get back to you and we'll work on that then.  But SeungRi, don't tell SeungHyun Oppa anything just yet."

I nodded, "Don't worry.  I won't make any move unless I'm sure Hilary is still in love with my brother.  I don't want to see him get hurt one more time.  You have no idea how he lived his life after Hilary ran away."

DaeSung sighed heavily.  Minzy sighed too, "Well, I doubt Hill lived a happy life in the past 4 months.  God, I wonder what's the reason behind.  They were so happy and close at my welcoming party.  But things just changed all of a sudden."

I shrugged, "Well, guess we'll find out soon, now that we know they both never let go."

DaeSung nodded, "Just let me know if I can be in any assistance.  I'm more than happy to help."

"DaeSung Hyeong, just keep an eye on Hilary.  Even those teeny tiny things." I said.

He nodded, "Oh...   EunHi got into an accident earlier in Gangnam.  Near Han's Art Gallery."

"Han's?" I asked.

Minzy looked at me, "What is it?"

I let out a soft laugh, "Hyeong said he was going to the gallery this morning."

"OMG!  They went together?" Minzy asked in disbelief.

DaeSung shook her head, "I don't think so.  If so, EunHi wouldn't have taken her own car.  I heard the valet said she came back in Sajang Nim's car."

I laughed out loud, "This is getting better and better.  I'm starting to have goose bumps."  I slightly slapped on my own arm as I said, "Is this a SBS or KBS drama?  I mean, the ex-lovers went to the gallery alone and bumped into each other.  This is totally how the love story goes in a drama.  Aish...   What are we then?  Supporting actors and actresses?"

"Brother of the male lead.  Best friend of the female lead." Minzy giggled.

"What am I?  Assistant to the female lead?"  DaeSung said.

We looked at each other and couldn't help but burst out laughing together.

JiYong's POV

Minzy gave me a call and said she wanted to meet me.  I suggested to have lunch together but she insisted to come to my office instead.

"Kwon Sangmu Nim, Miss Minzy Park is here to see you." Yoo Biseo said.

"Send her in."  I stepped away from my desk and walked over to the sofas.

"Oppa!" Minzy said with a big smile.

I smiled, "Sit down.  Do you want anything to drink?"

"No.  I just have tea with my team."

I gave Yoo Biseo a nod to signal her to leave us.  I sat down opposite to Minzy and asked, "Why do you want to see me?  Let me guess!  You came to warn me, AGAIN?" I smirked.

Minzy looked at me and giggled, "Oppa, you do realize you have a bad reputation and people are all worried, huh?"

I shrugged with a smile, "Well, I just know how women think.  Especially those BFFs."

Minzy rolled her eyes and said, "I just want to make sure Hill
