SeungHyun's POV

I watched Hilary danced off the stairs to the garden from behind and couldn't help but smile at her.  She was really happy that her grandfather finally called WooBin Hyeong his grandchild.  To Hilary, it probably was the best thing happened to her all these years.

"Just be careful and don't trip yourself, OK?" I said.  She was again wearing her high-heels.  I just couldn't understand why she loved those heels so much while she tripped herself in them a lot.  I quickly followed her from behind so that if she tripped herself again, I would be there to pull her back.

Hilary waved her hands in the air and said, "Don't worry!  I won't trip."  Right at that second she said 'trip', she slipped.  I immediately reached out for her and pulled her to myself.  If I didn't catch her in time, she would probably fall down the stairs.

My heart skipped a beat, "God!  You scared me!  Told you to be careful."  I slightly frowned at her but she shrugged with a cute pout.  I let out a sigh and couldn't help but shook my head with a smile.

"I knew you would catch me if I fell." She wrinkled her nose with a sweet smile.  I laughed softly as I snapped my fingers on her forehead.

She threw her arms around my neck and gave me a peck on the lips, "I am REALLY happy today."

I smiled, "I know.  Congratulations!"

She giggled, "Thank you!"

Just when I was about to lower my head to kiss her, someone faked a cough from behind.  Hilary and I pulled away from each other immediately but I still hung on to her waist since I was worried that she would fall again if I let go.

"Hyeong!" I said embarrassedly.

WooBin Hyeong glanced at me and stared at his sister.  Hilary blinked a few times at her brother and pouted.

WooBin slightly drew his brows and said, "Come here, Baby Sis!"  He opened his arm to his sister with a smile.  Hilary smiled and flew over to him.  Dara and I looked at each other and both smiled.

"Thank you, Sis!" WooBin said as he hugged Hilary tightly.  He slightly lifted her up a bit since he was really tall and strong while Hilary was quite small comparing to him.  She threw her arms around his neck and hung on to him tightly as well.

"Oppa, grandpa called you his grandchild.  He called you his grandchild." Hilary cried again.

"Yes, he did.  Thanks to you!" WooBin said with a smile.

Hilary pulled away from her brother and stood back on her feet, "No.  You changed him yourself.  Everyone can see your hard work.  He sees it too."  WooBin slightly nipped her chin and smiled.

Dara clapped her hands and said, "Let's go celebrate!  I mean, who would think Miss Kim's love story would go like this?  SeungHyun Oppa, are you not worried that she would run away again?"

"ONNI!" Hilary frowned.  WooBin laughed out loud as he patted his sister on the head.

"What?  What did I say?" Dara smirked.

Hilary slid her arm around her brother's and protested, "Oppa, your girlfriend is teasing your baby sister."

WooBin chuckled, "But I want to ask the same question too!"  Dara burst out laughing as she stepped up to WooBin and slid her arm around his other arm.  Dara threw out her tongue at Hilary.  Hilary glanced at her and then said to her brother, "So, you dumped me for her, huh?"

WooBin shrugged with a smile, "Do you still need me now?"  He threw me a quick glance and tapped Hilary on the nose.  Hilary blushed instantly as she pushed his hand away, "Ha...  Man!  You just can't trust them."

"Erhhhh....  That including me?" I asked.  Hilary glanced at me and then at her brother.  WooBin clenched his lips to hold his laugh and Dara already laughing hard.

"YES!  That including you, unless you are not a man!" Hilary pouted and turned around to leave.

"Where are you going?" I asked from behind.

"I'm leaving since my brother is being stolen by my best friend." She said as she walked down the stairs.  I couldn't help but laughed softly.

WooBin stepped up to me and patted me on my shoulder, "Isn't my Baby Sister cute?"

I looked up at him and smiled, "Yes!"

WooBin looked me in the eyes and said, "Thank you for taking my sister back!"

"Hyeong!"

WooBin nodded with a smile, "Go!  Catch her before she falls down again!"

I looked at him and bowed my head, "Good night!"  I then nodded at Dara before I chased after Hilary.

"Hilary, wait up!"

JiYong's POV

Another week gone.  Hilary texted me a few times but I didn't reply her at all.  I needed the time and distance to detach myself from her.  And I believed she knew that too; but then she was worried about me, so she texted to make sure I was okay.  I appreciated what she did, but it hurt to receive her messages.

I shut myself out from any information on SeungHyun Hyeong and Hilary.  But then I figured if any rumors came out, CL would be the first one to tell me.  I wouldn't be able to hide from it anyway.

"Mom, do you have a minute?" I decided to tell her, finally.

She looked up at me and nodded, "Of course.  What is it?  Why are you looking so serious?"

I sat down opposite to her and took a deep breath before I spoke, "I broke the engagement with Hilary."

She looked at me with wide-eyes and jaw dropped.  I gulped down the salive in my mouth and said, "It's my decision.  So, please don't do anything about it.  Just let it go!"

"What did you just say?  Say that again!" She slightly raised her voice at me.  I could see that she was in shock.

"What's going on?" CL walked in to the living room.  I thought she wouldn't come home so soon.

Mother looked up at CL and said in a sarcastic tone, "Your brother just told me he broke the engagement with Kim EunHi."

CL looked at me with her eyes wide-opened, "Is this for real?"

I let out a sigh and said, "Yes.  I've already talked to Hilary.  It's a done deal."

"OH MY GOD!" CL threw herself down on the sofa beside mother and ran her fingers in her hair.

"WHY?  What did she do this time?" Mother put up an angry face and asked.

"Hilary didn't do anything.  I told you.  It's my decision.  Not hers." I had to handle this well; otherwise, mother would put all the blame on Hilary and things would become a total mess.

CL let out a heavy sigh, "Mom, your son is still not ready to be tied down.  He panicked.  That's why."

CL bought what I said last time.  I couldn't imagine how she would react if she found out the truth behind.  SeungRi would probably be castrated.

"Panic?  For what?  She bites?" Mother asked.

"MOM!" I scowled.

"Mom, I guess your son is just not the single-woman type of guy, after all." CL threw me a glance as she said.

I rolled my eyes at her and leaned my back on the sofa, "I guess she is not the one I want to live with for the rest of my life."  A sharp pain pierced through my heart as I said that.  It was not easy to lie to them and lie to myself at the same time.

Mother let out a laugh and asked, "Or she is having hesitation on whether you are the one she wants to live with for the rest of her life?"

I raised my eyes at her and kept my silence.  I knew my mother well.  The more I tried to argue with her, the more she would hang on to her belief.  The best way to deal with her was to let her say whatever she wanted and not to give her any response.  Then, she would realize it was time to zip since I was angry.
