“It’s okay. I will come to your house.”
“No. It’s okay.” Kyondae convinced her client who was worried that she will trouble her by coming to her house.
“Alright. You’re welcome.” Kyondae smiled before she ended the call. Dora, her colleague stood in front of the office table. Kyondae looked up.
“Yes, what can I help you?” she asked. Dora pouted.
“Don’t show me that stressed face! Even I don’t have the mood to do any work by looking at your face.” She complained.
“Fine, fine. I will smile now. Happy?” Kyondae smiled which earned a smile from Dora as well.
“What do you need?” Kyondae asked. Dora handed over a file to Kyondae. Kyondae looked at the file.
“This is the document that the client prepared.” Dora explained. Kyondae frowned.
“Lee Howon? Is this a lady’s name?” Kyondae asked.
“Nope. A guy.”
“But the one who called me is a woman.”
“That’s the mom. This is her son. Family matters. I am sure you understand.” said Dora. Kyondae just nodded.
“Hmm, about the latest case you handled, is it solved?” Dora asked.
“Which one?”
“About the step-mother.” Kyondae remembered one of the cases she solved about a month ago.
“Oh, that one. Settled! I’m in peace right now.” She smiled in relief.
“You’re great, Kyondae. All the cases you handled are always solved in a short time.” Dora praised. She really adored Kyondae for that.
“I love to solve problems. That’s why.”
“Hmm, how about a love problem, can you solve it?” Kyondae shook her head.
“Well, we don’t have a love lawyer for a reason, don’t we?” Kyondae answered. With that, she glanced at her phone while Dora was smiling slyly.
Hyeyeon just got home from her cooking class. She placed her shoes on the shelf and entered the living room. Her maid went out from the kitchen before looking at her worriedly.
“Ma’am, where did you go just now?” Hyeyeon showed her innocent face.
“I went to my cooking class.”
“Cooking class is on Friday, right? Today is Thursday.” Hyeyeon frowned. She put her handbag on the dining table.
“Today is Friday, auntie.”
“Friday? Aigoo, my calendar messed up again.”
