At RiYoung’s House

            After having dinner with her parents, RiYoung locked herself in her room. All day long, she could not stop thinking about SungJong and JinRi. RiYoung sat on her bed and took off the star locket from her neck. She stared at it and sighed.

            “JinRi-ah, why did you ask me to do this? SungJong wants you, not me. Plus, I am his nuna. Why did you never want to spend your last days with SungJong? He loves you, he misses you.” RiYoung turned her head to her study table and stared at a photo frame on the table. It was a picture of her and JinRi when she was studying for a year in university in Korea before she went to further her studies at overseas.

            “Every day he will cry to me, he will tell me how heartbroken he is. I don’t think I can take care of him for you. I don’t think he will be happy with me.” RiYoung lowered her head. Her tears almost flowed out from her eyes. She still remembered the day JinRi called her and asked for her help.

            “Unnie-ah...” JinRi called her. She was bedridden in her room. RiYoung looked at JinRi. That day she was willing to take care of JinRi.

            “What’s wrong JinRi?”

            “SungJong...” RiYoung cried. She cupped to prevent her from sobbing. She really cannot stand to see JinRi’s condition. She was so sick and she was fighting with her disease but yet she always thought of people around her. JinRi searched for RiYoung’s hand.

            “Please take care of him ... for me.” JinRi begged. RiYoung frowned.

            “Take care of him?” She asked, confused.

            “I love him. I don’t want him to be sad because of me.” RiYoung nodded and replied.

            “I understand, JinRi but ...” RiYoung was cut by JinRi before she could even finished her sentence.

            “Please, unnie. I ... I always send letters to him. But I never let him reply my letter. Unnie, please take care of him.” RiYoung nodded, agreed to JinRi's request.

            “Alright. Unnie will take care of him. You have to rest now.” RiYoung caressed JinRi’s hair. JinRi flashed her a bitter smile and closed her eyes to sleep.

            “Yes, I will rest now.” She muttered. RiYoung closed her eyes after remembering the day she promised to take care of SungJong for JinRi. She heaved a sigh.

            “I am proud of both of you. How should I tell SungJong about JinRi’s real will? I ... I’m not supposed to take care of you only, SungJong. There’s other thing that I have to do for JinRi.” Once again, RiYoung looked at her picture with JinRi before lying on the bed. As she was thinking about JinRi’s will, she fell asleep not long after that.

At HaNa’s House

            HaNa just got home after her work. HaNa was living alone in her small house. Even though her father kept telling her to stay with him, HaNa will refuse because she wanted to be independent. After taking her shower, she dried her hair and switched on her laptop. She was surprised to see a chat message from MyungSoo. She read his message and sighed.
