You woke up hearing banging on the door. You kept your eye closed as you got out of bed and walked towards the door. As soon as you opened it, Jane and Nina came running with a laptop.

“What are you two doing? It’s 6am” you moaned.

“Unni, you have to read this! It’s important!” Nina grabbed you and pulled you over to the laptop. Your eyes were half closed as you looked over at the screen.

I stopped reading. I couldn’t read it any further. I held in the tears and let out a deep sigh. Seeing Jonghyun kissing Hyuna broke my heart. It was worse than the time with Doo Joon because I didn’t love Doo Joon. But Jonghyun, I loved Jonghyun… I guess he doesn’t feel the same. I was probably just his rebound girl.

“Jenny! He lied to you! He said that he was meeting a friend. Meeting a friend my . More like cheating on you.” said Jane angrily.

“Unni, are you okay?”

I don’t want to make a big deal out of this so I decided to laugh it off. I started laughing, I tried to make it a genuine as possible.

“Ahh… you two are funny. Jane, your acting skills are so good! For a moment there, I thought it was real.” I continued laughing. Jane and Nina looked at me with a worried look.

“Whoa, Nina, your acting is good too! Aigoo… but can you try not to prank me this early in the morning? I have to do a lot of stuff today.” I said. I started to push them out of my room. I quickly closed the door.

I picked up my iPod and put on my headphones before getting into my bed and laying down. I closed my eyes and tried to concentrate on music but it didn’t work, tears started coming out from my eyes and they wouldn’t stop. No matter how much I tried, it didn’t stop… it didn’t stop…

~~~~~Jonghyun’s POV~~~~~

I woke up hearing someone barging into my room. It was Onew hyung and Ki Bum. I slowly sat on my sat, wiping my eyes.

“Yah! How could you cheat on Jenny?!” Onew hyung asked me. His face was so red.

“What are you talking about?” I asked him. Wait, did I just hear this right? Me, cheating on Jenny? He can’t be talking about –

“I thought you were better than this. Of all people to cheat with, you go back to Hyuna? Kim Jonghyun. You-!” Ki Bum stopped talking and walked out and slammed the door.

“What’s with him?”

“What’s with you? What’s the meaning of this?” Onew hyung shoved a piece of paper in my face.

“Jonghyun caught kissing Hyuna?” I read it out loud. Someone saw us? Someone took a photo? Someone took several photos?

“It’s not what it looks like” I got out of my bed.

“Oh really? Because in this non-pixelated, very clear picture.” Onew pointed at the picture. “It shows you and Hyuna kissing one another. Your faces aren’t even covered. Unless you two have long lost twins, there’s no way you can deny this without being called a liar.”

“She initiated it. Not me.”

“Your eyes are closed. That means you knew it was coming and you enjoyed it.”

“What? No. I-I-I” I couldn’t say anything. I didn’t know why. This all seems like a dream.

“Nothing to explain yeah? But thank you. At least now, Jenny will have a decent boyfriend.”

Wait, what does he mean by ‘at least now, Jenny will have a decent boyfriend’?

“You know Gi Kwang from BEAST? He likes Jenny. He likes her a lot. At least I know he’ll treat her right.”

Why is he like this all of a sudden? Could it be that he… he likes her too?

“Why are you like this?”

“Because I used to like her because of you, I suppressed all those feelings and now they’re gone. So now, I can only love her as a brother. But unlike me, Gi Kwang can actually love her.” Onew hyung gritted his teeth and walked out the room.

I punched my pillow and sat on my bed. What am I going to do? What am I going to say to Jenny? Then my phone rang.

------Phone call------

Me: Jenny I-
Jenny: *sigh* Let me talk first. I’ve seen the pics of you and Hyuna.
Me: It’s not what it looks like. Jenny ah, please, you have to understand, she kissed me.
Jenny: I… really… don’t… need… to know. I know a lot of people are hating you right now. So, I have a plan on what we should do.
Me: W-W-W-What?
Jenny: Let’s get out of this situation in one piece and with our dignity. Let’s broke up.
Me: Broke up?
Jenny: Let’s just tell people we broke up a week ago. Then at least it’ll explain everything. I’ll tell everyone about the break up. So all you have to do is-
Me: What? No. Don’t. I don’t want to break up with you.
Jenny: You’ll get over me; I’m just a rebound girl.
Me: Jenny ah-
Jenny: I guess I should do the one thing that you’ve always wanted me to do but I couldn’t.
Me: What?
Jenny: Jonghyun oppa, I love you. Bye!

Argh!!! Did I just let Jenny slip away? Rebound girl? She’s not my rebound girl. She’s my only girl. Even at a time like this, she keeps her cool.

“Jenny ah…” was all that came out of my mouth. I got up and ran outside to go and talk to Jenny but when I got out, I saw everyone walk out.

“Where are you guys going?”

“Jenny texted us to go and meet her at the practice room. But hyung you don’t have to come.” Said Taemin as he closed the door. I went back into my room and got changed. I ran all the way to practice room and saw that everyone who knew about me and Jenny were gathered there. I looked in, I saw Jenny standing up at the front.

“Hey! Most of you probably have read the article with Jonghyun and Hyuna.” Jenny looked down and pressed her lips together.

“Now, before you go hating him and saying bad things about him. You shouldn’t because he didn’t cheat on me.” she paused.

She cleared . “We broke up on mutual terms last week.” She looked down again and bit her bottom lip.

Everyone in the room gasped and was whispering amongst one another.

“Oh, come on now. You guys probably saw it coming; we weren’t even going that fast in our relationship. It’s nothing really. You guys don’t have to worry about me.” Jenny smiled. “Anyways, we should probably congratulate Jonghyun and Hyuna. They look cuter than me and him yeah?” She said laughing.

The rest of Dynamite walked up to Jenny and hugged her but all she did was smile. How can she hide it so easily?

I turned around and leant across the wall and next thing I know, I was in my room. Crying. All I could think about was the moments that Jenny and I were arguing but instead of being angry, I would be smiling. All I could think about was how she changed me from and arrogant person to the person I am today. I just stayed in my room and cried. I took out my iPod and found the song ‘In my room’ the song that she wrote and I listened to it. I couldn’t help but put it on repeat. Jenny ah, I’m really sorry…

After that announcement, you walked outside because you got a call from your manager. Turns out you have a radio appearance on Shim Shim Tapa Radio.

“This is the perfect timing. Something to distract me from all this mess.” you said to yourself.

You walked into the radio station and you were welcomed by Gyuri and Shindong.

“We have Dynamite’s Jenny here today with us and she’ll be helping us out today.” Said Gyuri.

“Yes, we also have ZE:A’s Kwang Hee here with us too” said Shindong.

“Hello everyone!” you and Kwang Hee said excitedly.

“So Jenny-sshi, I hear that you’re going to be filming a drama soon” Gyuri asked you.

“Oh really?” you laughed. “How come I don’t know anything about it yet?”

“So how is idol life for you and your members?”

“Uh… it’s a pretty hectic schedule.” You answered.

“I heard that Jenny-sshi picks up the phone really quickly.” Said Kwang Hee.

“Oh really?” Gyuri asked. You laughed.

“Yeah, whenever I call her, she picks up on the first ring” said Shindong.

“Whoa!” said Gyuri and Kwang Hee in amazement.

“No. No. It’s because I have time to pick up my phone.”

“Oh, so you don’t have a lot of things to do?” Shindong asked you. Everyone laughed.

“No. It’s just Sang Hee unni is busy being and MC, Hyun Ji unni is busy working on a song for a drama soundtrack and Vicky and Nina are filming variety shows. I, on the other hand, have no schedule.”

“Ahh… so Jenny-sshi, you’re very lazy.” Said Shindong. Everyone laughed.

“No…” you covered your face.

“Let’s hope Jenny-sshi has a busy schedule now.” Said Shindong. Everyone laughed and clapped their hands.

“Okay, let’s move onto Kwang Hee-sshi, Jenny-sshi’s face is going all red.” Said Gyuri.

“Kwang Hee-sshi, I see you are quite warming up with going on variety shows.”

“Yeah. I’m loving the fact I get to go variety shows and showing people my personality.”

“Ahh… Now, any new clues on your comeback?” Shindong asked Kwang Hee.

“Whoa, you get straight to the point don’t you?”

“Aigoo… I want to listen to Dynamite’s song, ‘We are…’” said Kwang Hee.

“We are the one you want. We are the one you need. We are the one pumping up your stereo. We bring you to your knees. ” Gyuri, Kwang Hee and Shindong were singing along to your song.

“Okay, we’ll play the song now, right after, Jenny-sshi and Kwang Hee-sshi will be giving us a treat with a cover of a song.” Said Gyuri. Then your song started playing. While the song was playing, the staff members were preparing the stuff for Kwang Hee and you to sing. They handed you the headphones and the microphones. You couldn’t help but dance to the song but since there was little space, it kind of looked weird and everyone started dancing with you.

The song ended and Gyuri turned her mic on, “That was Dynamite’s ‘We are…’ but now, Jenny and Kwang Hee will be singing for us. They’ll be singing ‘So Sick’ by Ne-Yo.” Then the music came on.

“She’s an all rounder. Good at rapping, singing, danc-” said Shindong but he was interrupted by Kwang Hee.

“Aigoo… her face is going all red.” Everyone laughed.

After the radio show ended, your phone rang and you picked it up.

You: Hello?
Jane: Hi, I was just testing to see if you really do pick up after one ring.
You: Really Jane? Really?
Jane: *Giggles*

After the car ride home, you went straight to your dorm and the laptop.

“I wonder if anyone wrote about me and Kevin.” You said curiously. You went on KpopExpress.com  

“Oh! They do have a post about me and Kevin. They people are everywhere…” you said with your eyes wide open.

These two are just too cute! We need more people like that, we need more idols to do good deeds without it being broadcasted on television. But the thing that puzzles me is why Jenny and Kevin are hanging out with one another. They look so cute together. Them stomping on the clothes together, they look so much like a couple. Kya!! I’m going high. Kekeke. I hope they continue doing good deeds like this.

“Phew, I thought they were going to like start rumours or something.” you let out a sigh of relief.

“Unni! You moved on too?” you heard the door outside close. Then you see Jane barging into your room.

“Yah, you knock before you come in.”

Jane sat down besides you on your bed. She linked arms with you and looked up at you.

“So you and Kevin aye?”

“What?! No!” you stood up and shook your head. “We’re just friends. If you don’t believe me, you can ask Jae Won.”

Jane eyed you suspiciously. “Sure…” she slowly walked out of the room, still keeping her eye contact with you.

“What? I swear, I’m single. 100% single.”

“Whatever you say…” Jane then closed the door.

“Aish. She’s more into my love life than I am.” You shook your head and went back to going on your laptop.
