~~~~~Jonghyun’s POV~~~~~

Since I was stuck on the lyrics again, I decided to join everyone else for some training. I went into the practice room but then I got lazy and ended up falling asleep on the sofa.

“New meat coming in!”

I woke up from the noise. New meat? It must be the new trainees. I continued laying down on the sofa because I didn’t want to look desperate.

“Anneonghaseyo, My name is Jenny. Please take care of me.” Whoa… the voice is so nice. She has such a voice. If she has a good voice, she would obviously look good.

“Whoa, her voice sounds really nice.” The whole room went silent. Crap. Did I just say that out loud? I guess I should go and see who she is. Wait, her name is Jenny? Why is that there are so many Jennys now? Jenny here, Jenny there, everywhere a Jenny Jenny. Ahahaha.

I slowly got off the couch and made my way through the crowd to have a look at her.

“Oh!” I looked up and saw Jenny. As in the annoying stubborn Jenny. As in the liar. Oh my god. What did I just do?!”

“Why are you here?!” Damn it. Why is she here? She’s trainee now.  I can’t even think straight.

“Why am I here? Are you kidding me Jonghyun?”

“Whatever. Come here.” I quickly walked over to her and dragged her outside the practice room.

“Yah! Yah! What are you doing?!” she shouted at me.

I stopped walking and turned to face her and let go of her arm.

“You shouldn’t be talking to me like that.” To think, I thought her voice was amazing.

When Jonghyun grabbed you and dragged you out of the room, everyone else just stood still and looked at one another but then suddenly all at the same time, the all rushed towards the door and tried to see what you and Jonghyun were doing.

“Why can’t I talk to you like that?”

“Because I’m the boss!” Jonghyun raised his voice.

“And who says that?”

“Me, unless you want your secret revealed.”

You glared at him. “You don’t have the guts”

“Well I do anyways, since I know your secret, I’m the master and you’re the servant.”

“And who lets you be on top?!” you raised your voice.

“Because I want to be on top!” Jonghyun raised his voice.

“Why are you always on top? Let someone else be on top!”

“I can do whatever I want. It’s my rules.”

“And your point is…”

“If you don’t listen to me, your secret will be out.”

“Fine, whatever. You’re just jealous of my talents.”

“Psh!”

“You’re always doing a sloppy job, and I always have to pick up after you.”

“What?”

“Yeah, the company sends me the lyrics back and I fix them.”

“Really?”

“Yeah!” You raised your voice.

“Fine! We’ll have a contest tonight.”

“Tonight it is!” you said pretending to be excited.

“Well I’ll see you then.”

“Yes, you will.” You glared at Jonghyun.

“Bye.”

“Bye.” You and Jonghyun turned in opposite directions and walked away.

Everyone saw you two turn around and they quickly went back inside to the practice room.

~~~~~Trainee’s POV~~~~~

They didn’t hear everything that was said since you and Jonghyun were quite far away.

“I’m the master and you’re the servant” they heard what Jonghyun said.

“And who lets you be on top?!” They all looked at one another.

“Because I want to be on top!” They once again looked at one another with their eyes weird open.

“Do you think they’re… doing… that?” asked one of the male trainees.

“Shh! Let’s hear what they have to say.” Said Hyun Ji.

“You’re always doing a sloppy job, and I always have to pick up after you.” you said out loudly.

Everyone gasped and some of them covered their mouths.

“Omo, I didn’t know they were in a relationship.” Said one of the other female trainees.

“I know, and they’re just opening talking about their… you know… that kind of relationship out here in the open.” Said Sang Hee.

“Oh my god. That means they’ve down the deed.” Said Vicky giggling to herself like a child.

“Tonight it is!” you said excitedly *remember it’s the trainee’s POV*

“Oh my… they sure are… fast in their relationship.” Said one of the male trainees.

“Man, I have to ask how Jonghyun sunbae does it.” Said another male trainee, earning him a whack on the chest by Sang Hee.

Jonghyun turned around and everyone quickly ran back inside to the practice room and pretended that they were practicing all that time.

Jonghyun walked into the room and saw everyone acting very casual but he suspected something. He eyed them all suspiciously and they all tried to avoid eye contact with him. Some of them were trying to hold in their laughter.

“Is there something on my face?” he asked them. They all shook their heads while trying to hold in the laughter.

“Then what is it?” he asked them suspiciously.

“Nothing, Jonghyun sunbae. We were just telling jokes to one another.” Said one of the trainees.

“Then what’s the joke?”

“Um…” the trainee looked from around. “Oh! I got one.”

“Ok. Tell it to me.”

“Knock knock”

“Who’s there?”

“Apple”

“Apple who?”

“Knock knock”

“Who’s there?”

“Apple”

“Apple who?”

“Knock knock”

“Who’s there?”

“Apple”

“Apple who?”

“Knock knock”

“Who’s there?”

“Apple”

“Apple who?” Jonghyun started to sound agitated.

“Knock knock”

“Who’s there?”

“Orange”

“Orange who?”

“Orange you glad I didn’t knock knock?” the trainee started laughing. No one else was laughing with him until Jonghyun gave him a look and all the other trainee started to join in with the laughing to make it look less suspicious.

“Ok. If you’re looking for good jokes, just go and find Onew hyung.” Jonghyun turned around and walked out of the practice room.

~~~~~Your POV~~~~~

I can’t believe this, stupid Jonghyun. Why can’t he just accept the fact that I’m better than him? Obviously I do a very good job, I mean most of my songs are hits and his? None. Besides Juliette but that doesn’t count because I composed it.

I was walking around the building when I realised that I’m lost. Crap. What do I do?

I bit my bottom lip.

“Ok, so I passed the weird looking plant and turned left.” I talked to myself. I followed my own directions.

“Then I went past dorm 4…” I then stopped.

“Wait, aren’t I in dorm 5?” I asked myself.

“Well, you shouldn’t be here.” said a voice; I turned around and saw Onew.

“Yeah… I kind of figured that out when I figured out that I was lost.” You smiled as you scratched the back of your head.

“Don’t worry; I’ll help you get back to your dorm. What’s your room number?”

“Um… 5A.”

“Follow me.” Onew started walking and I started walking behind in. “Are you using me as a human shield or something?”

“Possibly.”

Onew smiled. “Don’t worry, people around here are nice. Despite, what the news articles say.”

I laughed awkwardly. I then remembered back to the news article with Onew and me. I pressed my lips together and frowned.

“What’s wrong?”

“Eh? Um… nothing… well something… I’m really sorry about the news article… about the dating… and everything…” I tried to avoid eye contact with him. He then messed up my hair.

“Don’t worry about it. As long as it isn’t true, I don’t have to be worried.”

I let out a sigh of relief. Onew then pinched my cheeks. What is it with people and pinching my cheeks today?

“You’re cheeks are so pinchable. They’re like a cute kind of chubby. I used to have it but then I grew up.”

I couldn’t help but laugh because the sad face he was making was really funny.

“You should call me oppa.”

“Hmm?” Wait, did Onew just ask me to call him oppa?

“You can call my oppa.”

“Um… ok.” I smiled.

“Aren’t you going to say, Oh… y-y-y-yes… o-o-o-oppa…” Onew was pretending to be a girl. I laughed.

“No, because that’s too clichéd, I’ll call you that next we meet.”

“You’re so cheeky!” Onew then, I mean, Onew oppa then pinched my cheeks. Again with the cheek pinching.

“That’s the fourth time today.” I said rubbing my cheeks.

“Fourth time the charm? So anyways, are you and Gi Kwang-sshi dating?” Whoa, that caught me off guard.

“No.” I shook my head.

“Then why was he helping you before.”

“Oppa, you’re helping me right now, does that mean that you’re my boyfriend?” I laughed.

“I could be if you want me too.” Onew wriggled his eyebrows and I lightly punched his arm.

“No thanks. I like being single.”

“Ah… I see. So you and Gi Kwang-sshi are just friends?” I nodded.

“Why?”

“Oh, because well…” Onew started to look around before turning to me, “I don’t want to tell you this now but I guess I should…”

“Oppa, just hurry tell me.”

“Well… Jonghyun likes you…”

“What?!” Is he joking? As if Jonghyun would like me. As if I would like Jonghyun.

“He likes you. He doesn’t show it now because he hasn’t noticed it himself but seriously, you two look like a married couple arguing, but like cute couple fighting, the kind that you see in dramas.”

I nodded my head on the outside but inside, I’m disagreeing with him.

“Wow, that was so clichéd.” I tried to change the subject.

“Whatever you say Jenny. It’s true.”

“Oppa. Let’s just concentrate on taking me back to my dorm.”

“Oh! I just realised, you called me oppa like three times.”

“So?...”

“So much for, I’ll say it next time we meet.”

“Well, it looks like I’m used to it already. Oh, I’m back to my dorms now. Thanks oppa.” I smiled and walked away. I didn’t hear any footsteps walking away so I turned around. I saw Onew oppa standing there closing his eyes.

“Um… what are you doing?”

“Waiting for my hug.” Onew oppa replied, still closing his eyes.

“Stop watching too many dramas and go back to your dorm.” I laughed and opened my room door and before closing it, I stuck my head out and saw Onew oppa still standing there.

“Bye oppa.” I then closed the door and I heard him groan, I couldn’t help but laugh at his childishness.
