*Minho’s POV*

I casually let my eyes dance past Yesung and Nicole again. He had his arm around her shoulders and was trying to make her laugh. She just rolled her eyes at him and watched the couple dancing in front of us.

“I’m whipping your !”

“Honey, are you looking at the right screen?”

“…Crap.”

Jonghyun and Annie were into their third dance now, and Annie had won every single time. It was entertaining to see them flailing around in front of the TV, Wii remotes in hand.

“Jonghyun you better beat her this time because I want to play too!” Dara piped up.

“Yah, you made me mess up!” Jonghyun whined as the song ended.

“Better luck next time,” Annie smirked.

“I’m playing now!” Dara jumped up and snatched the remote from Jonghyun. “Hey Nicole, do you want to play?”

Nicole looked at her skeptically, “Psh, no.”

“What about you baby?” Dara looked at me.

“Nah, I’ll sit this one out.”

“I’ll play!” Yesung jumped up.

“Alright,” Dara’s face lit up as he took the remote from her hand. “Let’s do this.”

As the two danced I noticed Nicole get up and head toward the kitchen. I tried not to make it obvious, but I couldn’t help but watch her as she moved about; opening the fridge, pulling out ingredients for whatever she was about to make. She opened one of the cabinets over the counter and I saw her eyes look up to the top shelf. However, due to her short size she couldn’t reach whatever it was she wanted. I then took the initiative to get up and help her.

I padded into the kitchen and stood behind her, reaching up past her short arm to the fun looking cup with the twisty straw. I smiled down at her as my hand rested on the cup, and she looked up at me in annoyance.

“Cute selection,” I grinned, bringing the cup down off the shelf.

“I didn’t need your help.” She reached for the cup, but I pulled it away quickly.

“Oh really? Then I’ll just put it back up here…”

“Wait.”

I smirked as she sighed and said a reluctant, “Thanks.”

“No problem.” I innocently handed the cup to her.

“And no, I don’t usually drink out of this kind of thing. I just needed a little happiness in my day,” she rolled her eyes as she opened the refrigerator and pulled out a pitcher of iced tea.

“Is that okay to drink? You know, because of the baby?”

“You don’t have to look out for me Minho. I’m doing just fine on my own!”

“Really? Is that why you needed Yesung to bring you to your doctor’s appointment?”

She stopped pouring the iced tea, setting down the pitcher and slowly turning around.

“So you’re stalking me now, huh? You just can’t seem to get over the fact that I’m not yours anymore.”

“That is not true!” I fired back.

“Keep your voice down!” She glared at me, then back peaked back into the living room. “You need to face the facts Minho. The other day you tried to confess to me; ah!” She put a finger to my lips. “Don’t you even try to deny it. I don’t know where you and Dara stand right now, but if she knew as much as I do she’d dump your sorry .”

“You wouldn’t…” My eyes widened.

“Just remember this when you think of accusing me of something,” she smirked, taking her sandwich and drink and waddling innocently into the living room.

“That little…” I walked a few steps further into the kitchen where nobody could see me and rested my hands on the counter. “She’s blackmailing me. My ex-girlfriend is blackmailing me. It isn’t supposed to be like this. I should be blackmailing her. She should be going crazy, not me! Well I’m not gonna have this. I’m putting my foot down now-,”

“Minho?” I turned around at the sound of a voice in the doorway to see Jonghyun hyung standing there. “Are you talking to yourself?”

“Just… ugh,” I rolled my eyes and headed back to the living room where I sat down on the couch watching Dara dance with Yesung.

Nicole slurped through her straw extra loud as if daring me to look her way. Of course my stupid self did, and she smirked at me, taking a big bite out of her sandwich. I grunted and looked away, but I could practically hear her gloating of another victory.

“You’re pathetic,” I whispered over to her, which ended up to be mostly mouthing the words.

She casually stretched out on the couch, bringing her head close to the right angle where the two couches met. “I’m not the one mentally cheating on my girlfriend with a knocked up midget.”

My face fell and I looked away, but I could still hear her snickering.

“I won!” Dara shouted. “Take that Yesung! Wahhhh! I’m a winner!!” She then ran over to me, jumping in my lap and placing a giant kiss on my lips. “Yahh! Look how much I beat you by!” She threw her hands up in the air and hopped off of me. “Who wants to play me now?!”

I glanced over at Nicole with a smirk and she scowled back. She may know some secrets, but in the end my new girlfriend still loved me.

“I will,” I stood up and Yesung handed me his remote. “I wanna try to beat this champ.” I slipped an arm around her shoulders and whispered, “You’re the best girlfriend in the world.”

“Your sweet talk won’t distract me now!” she bounced away, excitedly scrolling through the list for a new song.

*Nicole’s POV*

“Oh well,” Yesung laughed, sitting down next to me again and slipping an arm around my shoulders. “How are you feeling?”

“Just wonderful,” I smiled as Minho couldn’t help but glance over at us. “Absolutely wonderful.”
