“Come on, Chan Ah, you have filming tonight.” Jiyoung unni told her, pulling her out of the practice room and towards the van.
“Where am I going unni?” Chan Ah asked.

“Strong Heart. You’re good with telling stories and plus with your potential dance machine image, we figured that now would be a good time to start talking about your training days and debuting.” Jiyoung explained as they reached the van outside.

Jiyoung stopped before she opened the door, “Oh, also, you’re going on it with Woohyun.” She said, revealing Woohyun waiting inside the van so they could be dropped off together.

Chan Ah took a deep breath and got inside, Woohyun just smiled at her before he went back to leaning into the chair, letting his body rest and relax as much as possible.

That was an odd greeting on his part, normally, he would have said something playful to her, but she just shook it off as he was tired or something.

Jiyoung unni drove them in silence to the set and Woohyun waited for Chan Ah to get out first since he was seated on the inside and the door only opened on one side.

“Have fun, kids.” Jiyoung unni said, waving goodbye before climbing back into the van to find parking for it.

“Woohyun sunbae.” Chan Ah said softly and he stopped walking to turn to her. “Are you mad at me?” She asked.

Woohyun gave her a smile that didn’t reach his eyes, “Of course not.” He answered before turning away.

“Woohyun... Oppa.” Chan Ah said quietly enough to make Woohyun turn again to make sure he heard her correctly.

“I...” Chan Ah started before she shook her head, “Never mind. Let’s go film.” She said, taking a few steps ahead, her whole body trembling.

This was how it always was before any show, she couldn't help it. The anxiety would build and it needed a place to go and she would start shaking. Of course, once she was on the show and she started talking, she was all good and well, but leading up to it she was a nervous wreck.

Her legs were wobbly as she walked towards the building in her stilettos that Jiyoung unni had told her to dress in but she refused to turn back.

Why had she even considered that thought? That thought of weakness to admit some guilt or to repent for something. That was dumb, this was Woohyun, he wouldn't be so absorbed into his feelings, would he?

Woohyun watched her walk unsteadily before sighing and forcing her to attach to his arm, “Come on, you shouldn't trip on your way inside.” he said and he led her inside, keeping her steady.

Despite still being hurt by her, he couldn't let her fall on her face from her nervous energy.

He was hurt but he wasn’t heartless.

“Calm down, Chan Ah. Just relax, you’ll be fine once you start talking then everyone will love you.” Woohyun assured her as they sat down in their seats.

“Ooh, Woohyun treating your hoobae special huh?” Boom teased.

“Aniya hyung, Chan Ah is just really nervous and it’s easier for her to deal with it when she has someone she knows around.” Woohyun answered carefully.

“Aww.. Chan Ah-ssi you don’t have to be nervous, I’m a nice person and I won’t let you embarrass yourself on accident. Maybe on purpose if your story is funny.” Boom joked.

Chan Ah gave a weak smile before turning away to take deep breaths before she started to hyperventilate.

Woohyun gave a sad smile to Boom before he tried to get Chan Ah to calm down again.

“The show is starting in 5.” The PD said and Woohyun moved to his seat, one behind Chan Ah.

“Hello everybody and welcome to Strong Heart!” Boom greeted the camera as everyone smiled along with him.

Chan Ah could feel the energy dissipating quickly as the show began to progress. She would have to thank Woohyun later, perhaps make him something so he wouldn't be weird anymore.

She owed him that much, despite not knowing what was wrong with him earlier. She turned in her seat slightly and saw Woohyun out of the corner of her eye and he was smiling a real smile, but he was looking at her.

This is why she didn’t deal with feelings, they were too confusing.
