Ae Young hummed to herself as she waited for Hoya to finish using the practice room. She wanted to get in some extra practice in, as the maknae, she had lots to improve on and she wanted to fix them soon.

“Busy?” Sunggyu asked as he walked up behind her.

“How are you, Gyu oppa?” Ae Young asked.

“Just fine. How about you?” He asked back.

“A bit tired. But I feel better seeing you.” She answered.

“Well, I think Hoya is going to take some time. Want to go to the vocal room instead?” Sunggyu asked her.

“Sure, let’s go.” Ae Young took his hand and he squeezed hers gently.

He led the way to the other room since Hoya was practicing a dance. He had to get ready for a show or something, that’s why he was alone.

Sunggyu sat down on the soft couch and Ae Young followed.

“Okay. So what song do you want to practice?” He asked her.

“Well, the only one is the new ones?” Ae Young said.

“Can I hear the intro?” Sunggyu asked her.

“Sure, oppa, I only have four lines though.” Ae Young warmed up and then she was ready to sing for him.

“I don’t mind.” He said with a smile on his face, I just want to hear your voice.” He said.

“It’s a short intro,” She said as she finished, “But Jaeyeon unni raps a bit too. I just can’t do it.”

Sunggyu stood up and clapped before he reached for her and hugged her tightly. “You were perfect. Don’t even worry about it.”

“Are you sure? I think sometimes I don’t space it out properly so it sounds weird.” She said.

“Nope. I loved it. It was perfect, just like I said you were.” Sunggyu told her, squeezing her tighter.

“Well, that’s that one. I have to start practicing my Japanese though.” Ae Young told him.

“Why?” He asked.

“Jiyoung unni said that we all have to practice in case we debut in Japan. At least that’s what Ri Ah unni said.” Ae Young answered.

“Hmm.. Japan is fun. Though I hope Myungsoo doesn’t rub off on Ri Ah so she say ‘I like udon’ randomly.” Sunggyu frowned.

Ae Young tapped his nose, “I doubt it. If anything, Ri Ah unni has rubbed off on Myungsoo oppa.” Ae Young pointed out.

“It goes both ways, my sweet. She rubs off on him, he rubs off on her. So we shall see what happens in your Japan debut.” Sunggyu replied.

He checked the clock, “It’s almost 3:00pm, I think Hoya should be done by now.” He said, taking her hand and leading her to the dance practice room.
