Marital WoesJinyoung unlocked the main door and stepped into the house.
"Baby?"
He headed towards the dining table and saw dinner displayed out on the table, but his wife was nowhere to be seen.
"Babe!"
"I'm in the washroom!"
Jinyoung dropped his stuff on the sofa and went over to the dishes, picking a piece of meat and popping it into his mouth.
He sat down at his usual seat and a bowl of rice landed before him.
"Eat up."
Jungah appeared behind him. He spun around and smiled.
"Hey," he greeted.
He remembered that she had just visited the hospital and immediately tugged on her wrist, pulled her onto his lap.
"You just recovered, sit down."
Jungah gasped as she landed on his thighs.
"But there are chairs around this table, I don't have to sit on your lap."
"I want you to sit on me, can't I?" He grinned and wrapped one arm around her middle, resting his palm on her tummy.
Jungah shook her head, but stayed put on his laps anyway.
Jinyoung fed himself and remembered the ring.
"Jung, show me your hand." He muttered with his mouth full.
"Why?" She chewed carefully.
"Just do it."
"Hmm."
She rose her hand and reached for her glass of water with her free hand.
Jinyoung eyed her hand, before reaching into his pocket.
He slipped the ring onto her finger, before looking away nonchalantly, a small smile tugging on his lips.
She rose her eyesbrows and looked at her hand.
"What-"
Jinyoung shrugged his shoulders.
"Are you proposing to me right now?" Jungah asked, admiring the ring.
"What do you think?"
"How would I know if you didn't ask me to marry you?"
"So, will you?"
"I don't know." She whispered, still looking at the ring. "Being CEO made you wealthy huh? This ring looks better than the first."
"So will you marry me now?" He asked, feeding himself another spoon of porridge.
"Yah, do you think I'm marrying you for your money?"
"Of course not." He swallowed his food. "So what's your answer?"
"I'll think about it."
