Jungah leaned back against the propped up pillow as the nurse drew the curtains. She was in a private ward, and the room was pretty big for a lonely person like her.

Reaching for her mobile, she sighed. She was feeling drowsy because of the new medicine the nurse gave her.

Do you need me to come over to accompany you? How about you skip the retreat?

Jungah smiled tiredly as she replied her sister. She was going to the retreat, no matter what. She needed a vacation like this.

She was about to close her eyes for a short nap before Mark came back with her schedule timing when her mobile rang.

"Hello?"

"Eonni, where are you? Aren't you coming for the meeting?"

"I'm in the hospital. Help me get urgent leave."

"Are you alright? Why are you in the hospital? What happened?"

"I'm okay, Mark wanted me to come over so I'm staying the night. Just name my urgent leave as family matters. I'll call Jin personally and tell him I can't make it to the meeting."

"Arraso. Himnae, eonni."

"Hmm," Jungah smiled and hung up.

She went to her keypad and keyed Jinyoung's number. She didn't even need to go through her contacts, she had gotten his number memorised into her mind. She called him and waited for the man to pick up.

The call went through and even before she managed to speak, he fired questions at her first.

"Where are you? Aren't you supposed to be here? The meeting's started without you."

"I'm not coming in," she said and closed her eyes. "I took urgent leave."

"You sound tired. Are you okay?"

Jungah could hear the worry in his voice and she could help but chuckle at the thought of him being worried for her.

"You're growing weak for me, Jin." She said raspily, the drowsiness slowly taking over her. "I'm more than okay. Just needs some rest."

"You sure? Do you need me to come to you?"

Her eyes widened slightly. The last thing she needs was for Jinyoung to find out she was in the hospital.

"No need. Focus on the meeting."

"I can't focus knowing that you might be unwell."

She felt her heart jump at his words, but she couldn't tell if it was because of what he said or because of her condition,

"I am just fine. I-"

The door to her ward opened and Mark stepped in, with a clipboard in his hands. He walked up and set the board on the table, flipping through the papers.

"Jungah, the timing-"

She frantically waved her hand at him, making Mark paused. She pointed at the phone, signalling to him that Jinyoung was on the line.

He nodded with a sigh and stopped flipping through the papers.

"I have to go Jin." She told
